Dorm Battle 2021 Sunday June 20 th 2021 Team Narcissa Malfoy ~ known as 'the sophisticated snakes'

Starting Point : Slytherin Common Room

It all started from Slytherin common room. Opeila had told how the game work and the rules that entails with this year dorm battle. Cash a bit bummed when they realized that Henry nor Starlee were not in the same team as they are but after they took a look at their team mates, the other three lasses was not so bad at all.

Opeila then gave the first clue to the teams that participate in this year dorm battle. After the first clue had been distributed, the teams went into their separated ways. The sophisticated snakes first clue was rather easy. It is true that four heads are better than one. After Cash and the other three cracked their first riddle, they moved onto Small Hall.

Second Location : Small Hall

When Narcissa Malfoy team arrived at the Small Hall, they crossed path with another team but Cash did not paid mind to it. Sarah was the first one that found the note. After she told some part of the riddle in Latin and slightly butchering the language, Cash tried not to winced at that.

When the green eyes first learnt the dead language, they hated their father for it but now, thanks to their father who insisted Cash learning the language, at least Cash could translated it for their team mates. The resident hairstylist told the group it has to do with some kind of animals.

The four of them thinking in silence then Sarah was the one that cracked the riddle. She exclaimed it has to do something with owl and so the Sophisticated Snake team moved on onto the next location which was the Owlery.

Third Location : Owlery

It is a long way trek up from Small Hall to where the owlery is located. From Small Hall to the West Tower. Thinking about the many many steps the Sophisticated Snakes will climb, make the Beater shudder at the thoughts. But since the four of them in such a competitive and high - spirited, the many many stairs will not get in the way to reach their third clue.

And so their journey begin. After sometimes, the fourth of them reach the owlery. The unpleasant smell of bird dung hit their nostrils. Cash looked at Ileen who seems a bit out of breath. "You alright there?"The young socialite questioned their dorm - team mates. Clearly it was rather a stupid question but Cash would not want their dorm - team mates passed out from exhaustion or lack of oxygen in their lungs.

Cash also did not too fond climbing all the way up to the owlery considering their house located at the bottom of the castle. If not that important, Cash avoided the owlery at all cost. It was then Ileen who noticed the next clue. It seems she still need some time to catch her breath and so Cash was the one that reach for the third clue.

"Down, down and down you go. Stairs and stairs and stairs. Find balls of glass - not fragile don't worry! Try to throw them - and find out I am a liar"The beater read the clue out loud. "What in the world?!"Cash spoke lowly to themselves in their mother tongue which is Spanish. The young Ironwoods than looked at their dorm - team mates.

"Anyone has a clue what this mean?"Their green eyes bounced from Ileen to Sarah and finally to Piper. The four of them stuck on the third clue for quite sometimes until one of the girls pointed out that it might be a lie. Well it does not make sense at all. But when Ileen gave out her explanation, the Cuban descendant understood what the clue meant.

And so after the four of them cracked the third riddle, they moved on to the next location.

Fourth Location : Divination

Cash breath out when they and the others arrived at the front door of Divination classroom at least the trek down toward Divination classroom not as tedious as climbed it up to the Owlery. Cash was looking around to find the next clue but they have not found it until they looked down and found the clue.

The clue itself had been pushed halfway under the door of the Divination classroom. If one did not see it, one would miss it. The Latinx flipped open the clue and read it out loud for their dorm - team mates to hear. "Dirty, decrepit, and downright disgusting. Well too bad, you'll have to go. The queen of this place is mostly hiding, - Better hope that she won't come out now!"After Cash read it they looked up to their team mates.

They had a clue where this might take them next but since they are a team, Cash waited for the others to answer it. It did not took a lot of time when Sarah spoke up the answer. Sarah told the group that their next location is the abandoned toilets and the queen for its place none other than Moaning Myrtle.

"I think you are right, Sarah"The green eyes exclaimed. "All the description fits perfectly. Where else in this castle has that kind of description if it not the abandon toilets and the queen itself none other moaning Myrtle"Cash throw a smile toward Sarah's way. "Shall we go to the next location then?"Cash asked their team mates.

So far the green eyes was glad that they signed up for this year dorm battle. It had been fun doing this kind of thing with their dorm mates. Hopefully this is a start to strengthen all of their bond as dorm mates.
