Prodigal DADA Learner
DEFENCE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS

If you have applied and been approved for the ability Prodigal Defence Against The Dark Arts Learner as one of your abilities in our Application for Specialty Races or Abilities, this makes you eligible to learn DADA spells one year ahead of your peers.
Once you have the ability in your trunk, the process of learning new spells goes as follows:
1. Create a new thread in this sub-forum and mark it with the tag [Prodigal].
Please create only 1 thread per player to not clutter this board unnecessarily.
2. Write an RP story of 400 or more words where your character learns the spell.
Please include the name of the spell, the incantation, and the wand movement above your RP. This information can be found on the Harry Potter wiki, if there are no canon wand movements/incantations, you can find a them HERE.
If two spells are learned in the same lesson you may do them both in 400 words, otherwise all spells need to have a separate 400 word count.
3. Owl me that your spell needs approval.
Please include a link to your post in the owl.
You need to have your prodigal post approved by me before you apply to have it added to your trunk.
3. Apply to have the spell added in the Encyclopedia Update Form.
Please include the link to your post.
If you cannot find the relevant information of a spell in our Spell Masterlist or the DADA Curriculum, please owl me and I will provide you with all the information you need.

Update to Prodigal Learner Ability
