Personality
Ella is warm and pleasant initially, highlighting her compassion for others. She enjoys making others laugh with her sharp wit and dry humor. Her easy-going childhood has led to innocence, rarely met with conflict and a sense of complacency that comes with usually getting what she wants. With this comes stubborn naivety when things do not go her way. Ella is passive by nature, often an introspective surveyor of those around her. She does not actively place herself where she does not belong. However, if challenged she contains steadfast loyalty for the deep-seated beliefs of her family. She is loyal and protective of those close to her, at times to a fault.
History
Ella was born on July 19th, 2008 in Osterlen, Sweden. The southernmost point of the country, east of Malmo near Hano Bay. Her mother, Linda Forsberg, was the source of Ella’s best features. Strongly compassionate for other people and most notably winged horses. She made a name for herself as a breeder, often denoted by her willingness to place the creatures first, instilling a loving healthy relationship that allows these creatures to flourish. Her father, Peter Forsberg, a dedicated auror that highly values the ideals of justice and due process. Both parents connected as egalitarians, eluding the pureblood superiority stereotypes.
Ella has just one brother two years her senior, Nichlas Forsberg. As is the norm for siblings, the two were not without their occasional fallouts. But they shared a deep connection as best friends, sourced from the proud chip on their shoulder that goes with being a Forsberg. Ella is often the victim of Nichlas’ antics, but he always manages to mend things with unconditional admiration. As a result, Ella feels most safe when Nichlas is around.
There were many perks of growing up in Osterlen, the Forsberg manor was not far from the beaches of Hano bay. The best days of Ella’s childhood were with her mother atop one of the winged horses flying over the water. In addition, the occasional trip to the city of Malmo, due west of their home. In Malmo Ella embraced her passion for a popular sport in Sweden, ice hockey. The connection was instantaneous, Ella demanded to play the sport. There was debate the sport was too brutal and rough, but eventually Ella got her wish to play recreationally when the family travels to Malmo.
Nichlas left home for the Durmstrang castle in Northern Europe. Largely factoring into this decision was the school’s historic emphasis on higher disciplinary standards and less fire than Hogwarts. A void formed of Nichlas’ absence, leaving Ella temporarily withdrawn, distant from her parents. Comfort was found in the many letters she sent her big brother during his time away from home. The value of his absence was not lost, as personal growth came from the self-reliance that came with being alone. Ella was able to advance her knowledge and understanding of magical themes in preparation for the day she began school. In addition to the vast library located with their manor, she occasionally had the privilege to accompany her father to the ministry, thus gaining valuable exposure to the magical world.
Then the day came where Ella was given a choice to attend her preference of the three magical schools. A luxury Nichlas did not receive, and perhaps an oversight for her parents to leave the 10-year-old girl with such a large decision. However, her parents knew regardless of where they sent Ella, she would fight to the death to join her big brother. As expected, she did not stray from this script, emphatically deciding to follow behind Nichlas at Durmstrang.
The first year at Durmstrang was a rough adjustment for Ella. The icy and sometimes harsh culture contrasted the way she was brought up. There were some days the girl did not speak more than a few words, mostly keeping to herself. This soft-spoken shell she formed was only worsened by the decline of her brother’s increasingly cold demeanor. Ella developed concerns for the way things trended for Nichlas, but she would remain loyal to her brother, refusing to back down from his side. On the positive side, he helped open the door for her to gain confidence and express herself more consistently as her first year progressed. Even with lingering concerns that her unwavering loyalty for Nichlas would one day get her into trouble.

Whether the physical qualities or her sheer charm, Ella had a special energy that others find pleasing. In her early years when the young brunette got into trouble, she had a talent for swaying her family away from ire with her adorable verbiage. She could be stealing daddy’s wallet or valued possessions, and still hold up a façade of innocence. It is a quality that has only developed over the years, leading her to use this charming influence when she wanted something. Combined with her genuine positivity and uplifting vibes that promote her agendas. If there is something that Ella wants to do, she has a habit of convincing her peers they want to do it too.
Dubbed the salesgirl by her parents for this reason. A prime example, her instantaneous passion for the muggle sport: Ice hockey. Even given her parents wishes Ella focus on Quidditch, it did not take many pleads before Ella was able to make a regular trip to the rink. Ella’s passion and excitement were contagious to those around her, which leads to a blind naivety she can influence everyone to buy in. And a complacency when others do not align with her enthusiasm, but the girl does not waver, she is persistent to a fault, believing everyone can see things her way. A position that made her first year at Durmstrang a learning experience. There were a handful of cold students that did not buy into her positivity the way she was used to, leading to a reluctance to express herself.
Though there was one individual she could rely on, her elder brother Nichlas Forsberg. When he was not teasing her, he was protective, preserving her innocence and affirming her lovely spirit. Nichlas could be brash when coming to Ella’s defense, requiring Ella’s intervention when he showed signs of going too far. She is developing a way to handle opposing spiteful forces, but the girl was not a fan of violence. Lovely on the inside, and out, as she preferred reasoning to work through issues, and empathize with the negative views of her peers.
Personality aside, Ella has a charming visual aesthetic. Her long and wavy hazel hair that comes past her shoulders compliments her lightly bronzed skin. Along with a unique shade of grey-blue eyes. When not upset, her demeanor exudes positivity. Her lips are often curled up to express her contentedness to just be alive.
