Appearance
Bonnibel is considered slightly short for her age at a height of 4'5, but she does not let that bring her down. Her pale skin could be compared to snow, making her rather prone to sun burns. She has glossy, wavy light brown hair similar to a coffee with far too much cream. Her eyes are a brilliant teal that could pierce a person's soul if they were to look long enough. She would often be caught wearing a wide variety of clothes, but mainly simple ones that appeared to be complex. In reality, the majority of her choices took hardly any effort to put on or prepare whatsoever in her opinion.

Personality
Bonnibel is a quite studious young girl, and if one was to ask any random person who had only talked to her once or twice they would likely list off at least several good characteristics that were notifiable on the spot. In introduction, she would come off rather casual but make eye contact with the receiver. While her ability to make small talk was considered alright, her posture would simply stick out to people as quite formal in contrast to the way she spoke or acted. She excelled in the majority of the classes she was handed, and often put all her effort into even the simplest of tasks.
Bonnibel wished she could be just as those who hardly knew her would describe. Most who knew her would know well she was defensive and extremely prone to lashing out when even the slightest amount of pressure was put on her. Bonnibel hardly considered it much of an issue when it happened. It was just throwing away those who she did not need in her mind when it happened. Sometimes she would get more heated than she realized, and she would need someone to ground her back to the normal world. She found herself extremely insecure about 'not being enough', so she chose on her own to put so much into everything she did. This stemmed from her belief pure-blooded wizards were the most perfect of people, which made her tainted. Still, it was not just her insecurities that kept her researching. She was genuinely interested in the majority of the things she put effort into.
Even so, with this belief she was 'not good enough', she also found herself looking down on others at times. She actively contradicted herself with her flaws, but she was too blind to see it. At times she would push people down without realizing it, calling it 'tough love'; however, she also would bring people up when they most needed it as well if they came to her first. She was blunt, making her not excellent at emotions but certainly someone to come to if one needed advice or needed to see an almost unbiased opinion of themselves. Certainly did not mean it was right, but she became good at picking things apart. People could be picked apart too if they were to inquire.
She did have slight leadership abilities, but with the friends she would grasp she would often end up a drifter of the group or a follower. She was known well where she lived, but not enough to be 'popular.' She simply drifted along, and wherever she was she would join in.
While she did enjoy researching, she did not do her entire job just attempting to cram knowledge into her brain. She enjoys watching Quidditch, and would attend several events for it in her early life. She enjoyed chess, and though she tried to get decent at it she could never find herself predicting the next person's moves entirely. Most of the time she would make things up to do on the spot, including occasionally drawing and a bit of harmonica along with piano.
While she had expected herself to adore Transfiguration the most, she also felt a pull towards learning of muggles through childhood. She would never admit it, of course; however, she was truly intrigued with how they worked and how passionate they tended to be considering the fact they made an entire society without magic.

History
Bonnibel's true parents are Ivy Grace, a pure blooded Witch, and Anthony Scott, a wizard who was not a pure blood who had moved from England to the Americas. Ivy felt in love with Anthony, even though Ivy was shamed for it due to the fact he was not a pureblood. She was prepared to live a life in secret with Anthony, even if it meant giving up everything she had gained with her family. Their plans were put on hold when they created Bonnibel once they realized not everything would go as smoothly as they assumed it would.
It soon became clear Bonnibel was magical as once while Anthony was carrying her he slipped, causing Bonnibel to go flying towards the window; however, instead of he window being found broken and Bonnibel severely injured she was found on the ground with not a scratch on her. Ivy's pure blooded family took their chance and used Bonnibel to manipulate Ivy to leave Anthony by explaining how Bonnibel would not get the fulfilling childhood she deserved. Ivy begrudgingly agreed, much to their own dismay. They left Anthony at night, leaving Anthony to wonder where Ivy went. While Anthony was left curious, Ivy went to a small town in North Carolina that was almost entirely full of witches and wizards. She met another man, Travis Loughty, who was a pure blooded wizard. Her family firmly encouraged her to continue her family with Travis. Ivy, blatantly upset she had been forced to leave Anthony, made many efforts in order to refuse; however, Travis ended up being rather understanding of this.
They became close friends during the time period of Bonnibel only being about a bit over a year old. Travis would assist on lengthy, tired nights with handling Bonnibel and Ivy would occasionally give gifts to Travis to show her appreciation. They eventually came up with a plan to get together in order to satisfy Ivy's family and his own. Ivy confessed she could never love him like she loved Anthony, but would try to be by his side no matter what.
For work the two worked on organizing a small shop in which they would sell plants to muggles, but with a key word they would sell minor potions to wizards and witches. They had a two story home a bit away from the shop in the mainly magical town. They would often trade days when they worked so they could more frequently look after Bonnibel. Even so, some days Bonnibel could not be looked after at all times and the other parts of the family would look after her.
Bonnibel's parents soon realized they would have to choose a side, inform Bonnibel pure bloods are the perfect beings and everyone else was tainted as they were raised or tell her they are the exact same and that nobody was perfect. They debated telling her, so first they decided to inform her she was not entirely a pureblood. They did not wish for her to live in a life of lies, despite the fact that was the first thing thing they had debated telling her in the first place. It seemed only fair to her, so they felt she should be informed once she hit the right age. They decided that age would be seven years old. Before they could talk to her about pure bloods and half bloods, it seemed her classmates and their other parts of the family got to her first.
Bonnibel herself began to believe pure bloods were the purest of people, and held a strange pride of being raised by two of them. Still, being informed she was not a full pure blood broke her heart in a way; however, she felt she could make up for it by becoming knowledgeable in all areas she could. Her parents supported her venture without realizing the toxic mindset she had. While it would only take a muggle born to open her mind, there were practically none to be found. While the rest of her family still supported her despite her blood and claimed they were not the fault of Ivy's mistake, she refused to inform any of her classmates. If anyone were to inquire, she would often lash out.
Through her school life, she would drift between groups on and off. She knew well she was going to Ilvermorny and she knew well she would be put into Horned Serpents, so she was not too pressured to make friends at the time. She just wanted to get along with people until she went there herself and found where she belonged in her head. It was like a fairy tale in her mind, but she still felt it might possibly be true that it could happen.
At school, she excelled at transfiguration; however, she would become interested in muggle studies despite the fact she was unable to enroll in it yet. Instead, she would look around the library to find information on it if she could. It was intriguing, but she refused to inform anyone of what she was looking into. Anyone that questioned her set up 'identity', she would lash out at.
Still, throughout all the challenges she was presented she attempted her best to keep ahead in her studies and they certainly paid off. While she still has a lot to learn, perhaps one day she will realize a lot of it is emotional that she has not learned.
