General The Ravenclaw Table 2017-2018

As Jack was approaching the Ravenclaw table he look worried about his first impression. He saw a empty sit, as he sat down he saw that other students mostly talking to each other. Jack saw a lot of food on the table meat, soups, pies and other kinds of food. jack grabbed a soup, he placed the plate in front of him. As he looked at the soup, he saw a lot of strange things in it. He was confused. ''will it taste good, whats that thing...???'' He grabbed a spoon, located right next to him.  He took some soup with his spoon, he tasted it. It was hot, a bit too sweet for his taste.  He placed the spoon and a soup back to the table because they didn't really liked it, for him it was awful. ''Hope rest of the food won't taste that badly. He started to look around the great hall. There were 5 tables, one for RavenClaws, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor and teachers table. The students and teachers were mostly talking with each other or just eating. '' Not so much to do here '' Jack mutters. Jack was just really impressed by the rest of Great hall, really big, with a lot of lights and pictures. Jack looked at the food again, trying to find something tasty this time.

"Did you do this?"

"No!" She scoffed, "of course not. I am not this petty." She rumbled at the cue ball as she raised a hand, finger extended in the direction of the one Ravenclaw with a full head of hair

"What kind of twisted joke is this? This is not okay and I don't like it,"

"Don't insult with with a sick sense of humor." That would be Marcus. "Even if I did... which I did not... one of your own assaulted me!" She was turning blame back onto their own. She was referring to a few moments earlier when she was launched through the air and sent crashing into the table. Once was a cruel prank indeed, but the other was simply assault. "She," Erin was pointing at Helle "without a doubt modified the Leviosa spell not only lifting me but also swinging me about." She was using known, shared facts to substantiate her point and place the blame. "It is the first week, who else here knows how to do so much so early." Yes, she was throwing Helle under a racing bus that she was driving, if Marcus fell under there too she did not particularly care but that would have to be a conclusion that they would have to come to on their own. Marcus had made a point of showing off how skilled he was and it would eventually bite him in the backside. It already had in a few ways without him realizing it. It was dangerous to be different. Even if different was better.

She was half expecting a reaction, a spell. Something from them. She was not a masochist but she was willing to get hurt to win. Yeah, some might wonder how an injury could also mean victory. Well, this Slytherin was cunning, sly and of course manipulative. She was somewhat astonished that the staff, professors, varied moderators of the room did not intervene. Perhaps it was indifference at the plight of this jinx, perhaps it was because they were curious or they too had a sick sense of humor.  Still it would be a lie to say that their reaction was unwitnessed, after all by now most eyes in the room were likely on them.

They... Everyone could hear her and that was all she needed.

"I take pride in my house," she added with a cocky, defiant expression. "We're better than such a juvenile prank. What a waste of time it would be to learn such a spell for someone like us," well most of them anyways.

She would move close to a random Ravenclaw and clap her syrupy hand on their shoulder. When did she crash through a plate of pancakes? She would wonder, it did not matter. "If I were you, I would get a marker or brow pencil and draw yourself a par of brows. Can't tell if you are happy, sad, mad or constipated. After that, I would probably have a talk with your fellow Ravenclaw since she royally [bleep]'ed up that jinx." She would lift her hand and shake her head at them as she made a tasking sound. She needed a bath, a shower, something. Back to the girls dorm for her, hopefully she would met up with a few girls and get a plan together.

"Excuse you?" Helle's voice rang out in a plague of anger, pointing a finger straight at the Slytherin female. "Anyone who isn't a simple moron and not a muggle would know how to do a simple spell for a first grader like us!" She scoffed, "But of course, and as always, a Slytherin can't do a simple task such as a spell. Unlike you people, I actually enjoy my privilege of being here in Hogwarts. But I don't blame you, I'd be disgusted and weak-minded too if I was placed in such a nasty house like yours." Helle pulled insults out like nothing, used to being called insults as a child from the nasty people around her and shaming her for her family's history of dark tidings in magic.

Helle did feel prideful of her damaging work, despite it being an alarm of assault. "When you clean yourself, Slytherin, make sure you get rid of your natural odor as best as you can as well. Unfortunately, the stench can be smelled from miles away. I wonder if that's how the Sorting Hat picks your foul selves."

Helle scoffed pridefully to herself for not being picked into such a dirty house such as the Slytherin, being the reason (to her, at least) for her family's down bringing and the death of her own mother. She brushed through her dark colored hair that was re-grew thank to a nurse from earlier. "Typical. Those of the Slytherin house tend to run away with their tail between their legs when someone bites back. A bunch of hyenas, those ones." She continued to mock the unfortunate girl caught in her heated moment of anger. "Oh, and that spell I used on you? Pah. Reading books and learning on your own time and pace is considered a smart thing for people to do-Oh!" She covered her mouth, "I'm sorry, that doesn't include your type."

The Sorting Hat was possibly wrong on Helle with how her attitude was. But the hat itself has never been wrong.

Who knows, maybe it was for the first time.

IC:

"Excuse you," the whiny Ravenclaw screeched.

"Yes, I understand sarcasm," she replied. "Your lack of manners, much like your assault have been duly noted."  Her eyes fixed on the Ravenclaw representative. Yes, her behavior represented the aggregate. She was simply too stupid to notice. "How many points have you caused Ravenclaw to lose?" She would wonder out loud. "How close are you to expulsion?" She would let out a low laugh. "Won't your parents be so proud of you." There was such venom in her words as they rolled off her lips.

"Anyone who isn't a simple moron and not a muggle would know how to do a simple spell for a first grader like us!"

"Oh good tutors." She reminded the hair for brains little girl. "Afraid that you would fall behind once lessons start. You still will but [bleep] at least you will make it the first few months." Classes had only started, you did not learn the year's lessons in the first week. This was the time in their wizarding career where it would not be common knowledge.

"But of course, and as always, a Slytherin can't do a simple task such as a spell. Unlike you people, I actually enjoy my privilege of being here in Hogwarts. But I don't blame you, I'd be disgusted and weak-minded too if I was placed in such a nasty house like yours."

"Let me remind you," her eyes looked her up and down. "We are an entirely different class. You and I." She had the sort of look about her where if she walked into a Haunted House, she would leave with an application. "So short-sighted... So [bleep]'ing dumb." Did she have to remind her? Obviously it was not as true as they used to say -- this Ravenclaw was so stupid she would be stuck at a stop sign because it did not change to 'go.' "Whoever cast that hair loss spell might be discovered. BUT there is one thing obvious to each and every person here -- you attacked me with a spell." She shrugged her shoulders. "You're caught. You probably lack the sense to care." She shook her head. "But calling it, you're the one that cast the hair-loss spell." She knew she was wrong, her voice even had a trace of lyrical myrrh. "Too scared to admit it of course, she hit her own house by mistake."  But don't worry one and all, she knows the Leviosa spell. An amazing witch. Or another word that closely rhymes. "But let me make this simple enough that a girl so dumb she would get fired from a blowjob could understand. The privilege of being in Hogwarts for you will be short-lived. You cannot control your magic, you attack people with your magic. Your enjoyment of being the part of any house is about to..." she made a poofing motion with her hand.

"When you clean yourself, Slytherin, make sure you get rid of your natural odor as best as you can as well. Unfortunately, the stench can be smelled from miles away. I wonder if that's how the Sorting Hat picks your foul selves."

"Smell? ...oh that," she brushed away a bit of toast her fellow Slytherin had chucked at her. Come to think of it he was kinda cute, but that was off-topic. "You would not know that smell would you? The smell of privilege, ambition and success." She would sniff the air, "that must be it... because on you all I smell is insecurity."

Of course she was no longer leaving. The mewling Ravenclaw truly thought she was something of value. That she was intimidating. That growing her hair back was an actual improvement. Girl, you're so ugly you would make blind children cry.

"Typical. Those of the Slytherin house tend to run away with their tail between their legs when someone bites back. A bunch of hyenas, those ones."

"I would continue a verbal debate with you, but it appears you have come only hardly armed." She had only a mediocre ability to insult. Her lexicon, limited. Her status, in this room full of people: untouchable and unclean. Her fellow Ravenclaw were not coming to her aid. Why should they? The girl was spouting nonsense and insults. Assaulting another. The scuffle between them perhaps a private matter to some. "Besides, it looks like you act alone in your delinquency." She was referring to her fellow Ravenclaw. "I wonder how many friends you will make in your own house." Of course she would not have to worry about being lonesome for long, soon enough her bags would be packed and she would be on a train headed back home.

"Oh, and that spell I used on you? Pah. Reading books and learning on your own time and pace is considered a smart thing for people to do-Oh!"

Erin simply looked at her.

"I'm sorry, that doesn't include your type."

"Took you an awful long time to come up with that insult didn't it." She sounded bored as she let that last dig sink in. "So unless you want to try to assault me again. In which case you will fail," indeed she would not be hit twice. "You have lost this exchange. You wound me only with your meritocracy. The Professors can determine your fate and if by some miracle you are allowed to stay, you can live in a dorm filled with people who can see you for what you are." Her fellow Ravenclaw. Her lonesome, indifferent fate.

Marcus got up from his table making sure his wand was in it's holster on his arm, making his way toward the Ravenclaw table having had quite enough of the back and forth "I would suggested not restarting your attack on a fellow Slytherin in my sight, as much as i know Erin here would wipe the floor with you, i would suggest you do not attack her, or any Slytherin for that matter, or I will be forced to put you down....quite painfully i might add" he stated to the Ravenclaw girl with a surprisingly cold tone

Marcus looked at Erin with a nod "Like i said, i already know you would wipe the floor with her feathers, but if it does come to it allow me to be your second in the duel...I...would like to makeup for my attitude toward you on the fifth floor" he said quietly to her with an apologetic look.

turning back to the ravenclaw girl "also i couldn't allow myself to standby and let a fellow snake be attacked, gotta show a united house, you know" he said with a slight chuckle "So..your attack earlier equals your first and only warning, you attempt to harm anyone in my house again..you will have wished you went to Beauxbatons

Bloom tried to believe her own lies that she told the Ravenclaw. It's going to be okay... She kept repeating over and over in her head. As she was trying to mentally calm herself down, her mind kept racing. The amounts of screaming between the other Ravenclaw's and the Slytherin's was not helping her at all. Bloom began to tunnel vision.

As an eleven-year-old who is not able to understand what the living hell was going on, her hands became clammy and her eyes focused on the large pile of hair that was hers on the floor. She bent down to grab it and looked at it and couldn't help but to scream in pure irritation.

"STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!" she blurted at the table, her right fist pounding on the table and her brown eyes still staring at the pile of hair in her left hand. Her breathing was heavy from the loud and long scream.

Her mind kept racing. She knew this was only a jinx, but it was not something she was prepared for. She knew there was lots of tension with Slytherin, but couldn't they make their jokes somewhat classy? This was morbid and disgusting. To have all Ravenclaw sitting together losing their hair... That's not funny at all.

"Fix it," she said, looking at the tall Slytherin boy. "please...," Bloom's eyes began to water up and a tear fell down her right cheek.

Marcus stared at the girl for a few seconds then sighs and shakes his head "Not sure why you are asking me, but I do know a potion that -may- regrow hair and make it silky and shiny" he said softly then smiled a smile that could only mean trouble in the future "But of course, I can't just give this potion away for free now can I?" He asked tapping his chin in thought "So how about this a favor for a favor so to speak, and I will cash in my favor in the future" He said looking toward the girl "Plus I will need time to make the potion if you agree to the deal, plus I'm sure others would agree as well so I would need time most of all to brew the potions in a large enough quantity that it will work for everyone" He said matter-of-factly then looked back to the girl Erin was arguing with earlier "Is that not agreeable?" he asked then glanced to Erin with a nod.

"So..who here wants their hair back instead of waiting for their hair to regrow by itself?" He asked everyone in every table "Just pass me along your names and table and I shall begin working on the potion post haste"

Ravenna sat down next to a tearful girl. She didn't hear the girl however. She didn't notice the cocky boy nearby, either.

Ravenna Guntram the Ravenclaw. How much raven can one take before they explode? She felt defeated.

As she felt herself crashing into the arms of defeat, rising within her was her sense of defiance. The same defiance that had seen this sorting ceremony as her opportunity to throw off her chains of ravenness. God what a horrible color blue is.

She stewed for a couple minutes probably, hating all things raven and all things blue. And then her mind and her body reunited and she remembered where she was. She noticed the girl sitting next to her. She wondered briefly if the girl had tried to speak to her or not. She had no idea. She decided her best course of action was to introduce herself and treat anything that happened before as if it didn't.

"Hi. My name is Ravenn..." she choked on her own name. So much raven. So she cleared her throat and tried again.  "My name is Ravenna. What's your's?"

Bloom's heart began to pound; her breathing racing ever so slightly. She listened to the Slytherin and heard that he knew of a cure. If she was able to calm down, Bloom would rationalize the situation and realize that it was him as most learn both the jinx and cure at the same time. But unfortunately, she was a bit more emotional than she had wanted.

Bloom always wondered why the Sorting Hat placed her in Ravenclaw. If anything, she found herself more of a Hufflepuff. Perhaps there was more to her than she thought. However, this situation did not show her as a Ravenclaw at all. Bloom was not thinking rationally at all, she was emotionally drained from what was happening and couldn't help but to think about what kind of favor the Slytherin needed for the cure.

That slimy Slytherin... I just want the cure, she thought to herself. More tears were cascading down her olive skin. She wiped her eyes dry with her shirt sleeve and took a deep breath. "Deal," she said, feeling defeated. She looked around at other Ravenclaw's with hair loss and looked to the ground. "I'll add on another favor if you cure the rest of the Ravenclaw's too," she added, hoping he would take on the addition.

Bloom's breathing relaxed and her tunnel vision lessened. She was finally able to see what was around her. She saw that there was a girl next to her who did not seem to be affected by the jinx, but caught Bloom's attention because she was introducing herself. Bloom wiped away any wetness around her eyes and face and gave a small smile at the girl. "Hi Raven, I'm Bloom," she said, trying to feel stronger. Bloom tried to reach for her hair, only to feel nothing in its place. Oh right..., she thought and sighed. "Also, I usually have hair," she randomly said, trying to  validate her awkward feelings of what this Ravenclaw might think of her.

Marcus raised an eyebrow while giving the girl a look of slight surprise yet with a calculating gaze in them as well "A favor for each of your housemates." He responded "And I will personally make your house's batch first" he added "And..I will also find a way for you to learn a way to block those kind of spells next time" he adds on to the deal to attempt to sweeten it for her "I mean sure you can use a Protego but that obviously has a large drain on your magic, I was honestly surprised Arya did it so flawlessly, so I will teach you and only you a lesser version of the protego but still effective against most jinxes and hexes." He pauses to let it sink in for her "Deal or no deal?" He asked with a small smile "You will also receive the first vial of the potion, if you want." He continues to sweeten the deal even more

Marcus looks at the girl curiously "Ah since I am giving you so much in this deal..I..would prefer an Oath to not disclose what I teach you as well the ingredients in the potion, a guy has to keep his secrets after all."
