The Hufflepuff Table 2019-2020
Akore would sit at the end of the Hufflepuff Table. Akore would sigh as he thought to himself, why is it everyone here is so friendly.
Since Akore was just sorted into Hufflepuff two days ago, he felt completely lonely. Like the whole school is around him in a circle with a big gap between them, all criticizing him.
Yesterday was Akore's first day at Hogwarts. And he was late to almost all of his classes except for potions. Because he was lost in the halls.
Akore would never understand why everybody in Hufflepuff was so friendly. It made things even worse for Akore, because it was like people kept trying to get into his personal life without even asking to be friends. A few people yesterday asked Akore all about his personal life they grabbed his books. And looked through his notes, they smiled gave him back his stuff. And asked whats your mother likes. That was it for Akore and he ran to his dorm. So far today been a good day if a good day involves seeing people trip in doorways and run straight into you, in the halls.
Akore was a pretty lonely kid and had no friends before he came here. So nothing really changed on that side. The only class he really enjoys is potions even though he has no assigned partner yet and just receives random ones. Akore could not wait for potions class, and just smiled thinking about it.
Akore took a deep breath in and exhaled. "Todays a better day." Akore said.

The Hufflepuff Table 2019-2020
Akore knew that he was going to be forced to make friends sooner or later as he sat at the table. But he never had friends not even in his home city Cambridge. So Akore always did amazing things to show his parents amazing things about him. He always did it just for approval and his parents knew that so he always just got that and nothing else. And Akore was happy. But ever since he got here he never felt that feeling of approval he's only felt criticism.
"Maybe I should make some friends... But will they really be what everybody says they are? Are they really nice to have around and there to cheer you up?" Akore has always been one to wonder things like this and it always ponders in his head. Akore would sit at the edge of the Hufflepuff table. On the edge closet to the exit. He overheard some other Huffepuffs but barley he could only hear mumbles because it was so loud.
Akore would sigh then smile knowing he can prove to his professors that he is worthy to be proud of. So when everything was over he left to the Hufflepuff Common Room to get ready for Charms class.

The Hufflepuff Table 2019-2020
"HUFFLEPUFF!" The Sorting Hat exclaimed.
Serena hopped off of the Sorting Hat's stool with a big smile on her face. The first year had always thought she'd fit well there. Serena was glad that she was right. After making sure to hand back the hat, she walked towards the table filled with students. Some were wearing robes with a black and yellow tie. Those must be the older students. However, some were just like her, in the simple black ones. Serena briefly wondered when she'd get her tie, sweater, and other Hufflepuff-themed school gear. Maybe in the dorms? She would have to ask an older student.
Serena sat down at the table. She was about to introduce herself when her stomach decided to grumble loudly. She felt her face warming up. Well, that was one way to make an impression. She awkwardly laughed.
She reached for the platter of chicken in front of her. Picking some up with the provided utensil, she carefully distributed some to the plate directly in front of her. She also scooped up some green beans and grabbed a dinner roll.
After taking a bite of the chicken, Serena was impressed. This was some of the best chicken she'd ever had! Her mother, aunt, and uncle had told Serena the food was good, but she didn't think it would be this good!
Serena eagerly took another bite. Oh, she could get used to this!

The Hufflepuff Table 2019-2020
Tracey was now sitting at the Hufflepuff table. For once, she was quiet. She didn't have anyone to talk to anyway. She fiddled with one of her hair clips thinking of the Ravenclaw blue color that hadn't yet rubbed off. Soon, her mind was set on food, which was the only thing she could think about. She glanced around looking at the other Hufflepuffs talking. Her eyes started looking at the other tables. Each seemed to be different in personalities, despite her sitting alone at the Hufflepuff table, she could still see what and feel the general mood around the other tables. She looked down at her plate of food which she hadn't noticed earlier. She looked at the food hungrily. Looking around quickly, she saw other students eating, so she dug in. It was the best food she had tasted since, ever! All of Tracey's thoughts were now on her food, her mind not wandering elsewhere, for once. Well, it was still thinking about how she's starting the school year with no friends and zero social interactions, but food is far more important than social interactions, or was it? Tracey sighed as she stopped eating, her mind was soon set back on the food and she happily continued.

The Hufflepuff Table 2019-2020
He sat down in a heavily public part of the table. He watched as everyone talked, played, sang, and joked. He liked seeing people just be, well you know, people. The atmosphere was calm and all-around friendly. He turns to see the other tables.
"Gryffindors seem to be getting along well enough," He looks higher to see the Slytherins "they seem to be quiet but extremely social..." And turns to what the sorting hat said his family was in, Ravenclaw. "Tense..." The Ravenclaws seem more collected, they seem to be doing their own individual things. Though Dakota was shy, he loves to socialize and talk.
"Hey- welcome to the best house, Hufflepuff!" He shook their hand. He smiled as the older kids congratulated him. "You know, the more Hufflepuffs the better."
"Are we going to eat?" He asks, the train ride was quite long for him.
"Of course!" An older Hufflepuff answers.
"Well, this seems like a lot of tables to serve..."
"Muggle-born?"
"Technically... raised by great muggles, but I come from a pureblood family line..."
"That doesn't make a difference, does it?"
"What do you mean?"
"Being Half-blood, Muggleborn, or Pureblood, your abilities won't be different."
"Yeah, I guess,"
"But wait til' you see how food is served, it's going to be mindblowing for you!"
Dakota nods and turns to the other houses table, looking for more people to talk to.
"Hi, I'm Dakota, you can call me Koa... if you want"

The Hufflepuff Table 2019-2020
Josh was lost in the magic of the moment. There were so many people laughing and talking and eating. It was all so noisy compared to the quiet country village he was used to. His eyes were as wide as saucers as he stared at the ghosts and the floating candles. His mum had told him stories of her days at Hogwarts, but nothing had prepped him for this.
Josh loaded his plate and began to eat. It was a feast unlike any he had ever had—steak and sausage, pork and chicken, lamb and bacon; there were about seven different types of potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, vegetables, literal boats of gravy, and several types of sweets. And Josh was bound and determined to try it all.
Josh had heard of the different houses, and was generally pleased that he had gotten Hufflepuff. It was his mother's house, and he thought it seemed like the best house of the lot. He didn't see himself as bold and reckless, nor especially smart or ambitious. But hard work, kindness, and simplicity suited him fine. Plus, his mother had told him stories of the warm common room filled with plants and sneaking off into the kitchens for snacks between classes.
Several other first years sat around the table, mainly keeping to themselves. Josh had never been one to start conversations, but everyone seemed to be pretty friendly. He thought he heard one of the other first years introduce himself as Koa, and another girl with wild blue hair sat near as well.
He turned to them and smiled.
"Hi. I'm Josh. Are you excited about your first year here?"

Hufflepuff Table After Sorting Ceremony
If I could have ran over to the cheering Hufflepuff table without making a fool of myself I totally would have however I know me...I most likely would have ended up doing something stupid like crashing into the table, falling on my butt or something insane like that. So of course I settled for walking like a normal humaniod off the stage and over to the table where I found an empty seat among all the bodies and instantly grabbed a roll. My nerves were still a little on edge so I needed something to help me calm down; it always helped me to tear something into small pieces.
As I tore the roll apart and listened to various conversations around me I could feel my nerves slipping away; I knew this was my home away from home. I knew I could have an amazing life here; surely there would be drama, hard-ships, trails and tribulations BUT for the most part my life here would be one-hundred percent amazing. As soon as the ceremony was over the Headmaster said a few words before a feast appeared before my eyes; with a new sense of confidence I dug into the feast laid out by the house elves. Mom used to tell me how she'd sneak down to the kitchens every so often to pay her respects to the house elves of Hogwarts; this sounds like something I might have to do one day.
When dinner was over I followed someone to the Hufflepuff Common Room; still to this day I am not certain who the person is....doesn't truly matter right now; just so long as they can tell me where I can put my head down at.

The Hufflepuff Table 2019-2020
After the Sorting was over and she'd made her way over to the Hufflepuff table, Sienna looked round at the Great Hall and the other students at both her table and the other House tables. She sighed to herself, but managed to smile and nod at a random Ravenclaw who was making her way back to her own table. Right after that, she wondered how she was going to tell her father that she'd been put in a completely different House from the one he'd been in. Not that it was a bad thing, she reminded herself hastily. It would give her a chance to make her own memories and have her own adventures at Hogwarts.
Her stomach rumbled. She hadn't realized how long it had been since she'd eaten on the Hogwarts Express, but now it was time to refuel again. The food looked delicious; she grabbed a couple of drumsticks, some macaroni and cheese, and a roll and began eating. Indeed, the food was just as good as her father had told her it would be...but why was she still comparing his memories to now? It was her turn at Hogwarts now, not his. It was high time she remembered that.

Harper smiles as she walks in the great hall making her way to the Hufflepuff table, She was glad she was a Hufflepuff it really fits her personality.
She made her way to the table nodding at her fellow wizards from other houses as she passed other tables. Once she had finally made it to the Hufflepuff table she found a spot by herself, not that she was anti-social she just found herself a little afraid to make friends.
She was a very shy person and she often didn't like to be the first one to strike a conversation. She glanced at all her fellow Hufflepuffs and smiled at a few of them before looking down at her food. Her stomach growled loudly, it didn't seem like it had been very long since she had eaten but it very well could have been.
She picks up various foods from drumsticks to mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. Her mouth was watering just looking at all of this stuff. She picks up a drumstick and carefully takes a bite. She smiles wide as the taste was amazing and unlike anything she had ever tasted before. She knew looking around Hogwarts was going to be a second home for her. She couldn't wait to make friends and get started with her new life here.

The Hufflepuff Table 2019-2020
Piper sat down at the Hufflepuff table, looking around at her fellow Hufflepuffs. Hufflepuff seemed like a great house to be in, and she was excited to meet all the new people. People chatted, laughed, and helped themselves to some food.
Piper wasn’t good at introducing herself to new people. Not without support. She decided to stay silent for a while.
After a while of silence, Piper couldn’t take it anymore. “Hi I’m Piper, Piper Hargrove.”
Soon enough, people started introducing themselves to her. That was much better. She joined in on some of the conversations, and got a lot of laughs out of it.
This isn’t bad. She thought to herself. I really like Hufflepuff.
Suddenly she realized how hungry she’d been. Everybody was helping themselves, but she wasn’t. How embarrassing, now wonder everybody was staring. She took a deep breathe to calm herself down, and helped herself to some of the food sitting on the table. Maybe she was really hungry, but the food was great. Almost better than her father’s food, and that really meant something.
After a while, she felt right at home, as if she’d been there for a year already. She was so glad she got sorted into Hufflepuff. She was glad she was home.
