When Opeila had heard of the new errand, she didn't even hesitate a second. She could use everything that distracted her from her current misery and what was better than decorating cakes?
Once more she had sent an owl to her grandmother, asking her to send her some snacks, since they wouldn't be allowed to eat any of the provided desserts.
Lady Margary had sent Hardin to the castle soon, together with the school owl that Opeila had used to send her letter. The birds had carried a package together, a heavy one by the looks of it. Curiously the Slytherin had opened it, just to find snacks and candy of all sorts in it. There were pretzels and crisps as well as chocolate, biscuits, a box with fruit and berries and... her grandmother's homemade caramel bonbons. She chuckled a little, when she found desinfection spray squeezed in a corner of the box- her father's signature, she was sure of it.
This would be just great!
Opeila didn't bother to pin notes at the wall, since this errand was never going to stay secret. She just went straight down to the great hall, the box with her. The (yet) eleven year old was looking forward to this.
She remembered very well how she used to help Lady Margary decorating biscuits at Christmas with melted chocolate and colourful sprinkles... This wouldn't be to different, would it? And far more possibilities!
Opeila went to the Slytherin table where she had already seen a large plate full of cupcakes. That was what she was going to do. Decorating cupcakes. The girl put down her box and a caramel bonbon into her mouth.
She looked at the cupcakes and thought. What would she just put on top?

Just as Breana heard wind of the decorating get-together, she quickly sent an owl to her mom for help. Her mother baked a lot of bread and sugar cookies for her, so maybe she has some special equipment Breana can use for that day. It wasn't long before her mother sent a small package filled with great piping equipment, complete with special piping tips for her to use (and hopefully not ruin). She dashed on over to the Great Hall, her eyes scanning the area for the cupcake section. She hasn't tried decorating desserts on her own before, so this would be a good first try for her.Interacting with @Opeila Seilun

Breana then caught the glimpse of the section she was looking for, as well as seeing someone already prepping up over there. Slytherin, from the looks of her outfit, and... Maybe a first year? But then again, most people look older than her because of Breana's height. "Alright, Breana... You got this. You've had some good hellos from the people here, you can do it again!" She pumped herself up in her thought, smiling before she walked up to her, setting down her box of piping equipment next to the Slytherin child. "I, uh... er, h-hey!" She said, waving shyly at her. "I'm... I'm here for the cupcake thing... well, o-obviously, heh..." She gestured over to her piping equipment. "Oh, uh, I'm..." She paused for a moment. "Breana! I mean, I do remember my name, duh... Just... y-yeah, I'm Breana Oliveire." She held out her hand to the girl, internally screaming at how she practically stumbled over her introduction.

Once again a new errand was being hosted, this time it involved sweets. Of course, it was soon spread around like wildfire- probably due to the fact that it was centered around decorating sweets and the majority of students at Hogwarts probably had a sweet tooth like Mildred, or at least she hoped they did. Eventually, the news of the errand reached Mildred and immediately she knew she wanted to attend, although the moment she read the small warning posted at the bottom of the flyer stating how the students were not allowed to eat the food they decorated, she didn't want to go anymore- she thought it was unfair, they were the ones decorating it why couldn't they eat it?
She thought about it for a while, should she really go? it seemed like a waste of time almost plus she was never the best at arts and crafts- her dessert would probably be the worst decorated there. Instead, she should really also hit the Library soon- her grades were slipping and she didn't find studying appealing anymore, classes were boring and she struggled to stay awake. Although... she thought, she could always study later, even after the errand- in the end, she decided she would attend.
Not wanting to get her school robes dirty, Mildred decided a change of clothes would be ideal. She found some old clothing where she wouldn't really mind if she got them dirty, she found one of her old yellow button shirts and some loose jeans, reminding her of sweatpants and paired it off with some black sneakers, deciding this was decent- she went off to the Great hall.
[flashback]
Walking through the Great hall was, at times, almost like she was being pushed by the sea, many students were also trying to attend the errand or perhaps do their daily tasks around the school. Mildred tried to stand on her tippy-toes to see where the desserts were being located- through the sea of students Mildred saw a familiar head of hair. "Is that..." she mumbled to herself, she tried to get closer. She pushed her away through some students, saying a small "excuse me" or "thank you" here and there when she finally neared towards the similar figure. She moved next to them and her face lit up, "Ross!" she guessed he was also attending the errand although she felt the need to ask, "It is so nice to see you! Are you also attending the dessert errand? Let's go there together if you are!" Mildred hoped Ross would agree and they could both arrive together- she was thankful for Ross height, he was taller than her and she couldn't really see, she asked him "Can you see where the table of desserts are?"
[end of flashback]
Eventually, thanks to Ross- they both entered together and she found where the dessert sections were and she moved towards the cupcakes also motioning Ross over, she saw two familiar girls there already. First, there was Opeila, Mildred wasn't exactly close to her but she did like Opeila and consider them friends, Mildred moved her view over to see- crap. Breana was there, Mildred remembered what happened during September in the Library, and it's been a long time since then. Shes grown, and found where she stands- and would never do something like that again at least that is what she thinks so. She decided she would perhaps dedicate her cupcake to Breana as an apology or perhaps the new divination professor, she didn't know. She waved at Opeila and smiled at her, "Hey Opeila! long time no see." It has been a while since she has seen her, "Hope you have been doing well! Who are you going to dedicate your cupcake too?" She decided to not say anything to Breana due to the fact that she may have not forgiven her. Mildred inspected some of the cupcakes, deciding how she should design one, she looked for Ross and wondered what he would be doing, she picked up one and asked him, "So! What sort of design are you looking to make? Do you have anyone in mind to send a cupcake too?"
Mildred placed down her cupcake while she saw a nearby box near Opeila and peeked inside to some snacks, she gasped and may have said it a little too loudly- "OPEILA!! Can I have some of these?" she pointed towards the box.

[FLASHBACK]
The girl had seemingly pushed her way through the noisy hallway, but Ross could not put his finger on why until she arrived right in front of him. It had surprised him to be completely honest. He had not quite expected someone to be looking for him, or at least say hi to him during this time of day. Normally on days like these, he would spend his time walking on his own. He would go outside and count the blades of grass, or perhaps he would take out some of his notes. Either way, he had not quite expected to see such a familiar face say hello. He greeted her with a surprised smile.
"Mildred!" He exclaimed, not exactly sure why she was there.
Lucky for him, she proceeded to make her point directly after. To be completely honest, Ross had never heard of the errand in his life. He had never done an errand before actually, and he had not planned on going in the first place; however, Ross knew being honest here would be a huge miss out on an opportunity.
"Err.. Errand. err. yeah! S'ppose I was headin' there. Let's go!" he exclaimed, trying to make up for his unsurity with a large amount of energy that somehow did not quite suit him well.
Ross looked around the area, where he was able to see over a few people but not many. While taller than average for his age, it was only by two inches. Still, it was enough to be able to see the dessert table, which was rather close to them.
[FLASHBACK END]
The girl had gestured Ross over, in which the boy had complied. It had not quite hit him other people would be here, though he supposed it was an errand. Of course other people would be present. Well, no. He was sent on errands all the time as a child. It was to the store or a neighbor's house most times. Of course it would be different at Hogwarts. Ross remained stiff as he followed Mildred, only giving the others a slight wave. Ross could not explain why he was suddenly tense over everything, but he certainly was not exactly a fan of it.
As Mildred began to interact with others, Ross sort of got lost within his head as he realized he had no clue what he was doing. Instead, he found himself just staring at all the sweets that were laid out on the table. Only then did it really hit him that this was a decorating thing as he saw all the tools and materials laid out upon the table.
If one was paying attention to the boy, they would see his eyes visibly light up. He was ecstatic. It was just like at the bakery at home, and for once Ross actually knew how to do it. It had been so long since he had actually decorated something, or even baked a cake or stirred a mixture; however, decorating was certainly a welcome thought. Sure he would love to do the other two too, but he doubted he would ever be allowed into that mystical kitchen. Until Summer, he would truly just have to wait.
There were simply so many options, yet so little time. Perhaps for once he could actually just have fun with it, instead of having to make it look good. Then again, it was almost always fun. Concern rested within him as he realized he would have to argue his point among his peers for a theme or something good, but at the same time he felt he could make anything look okay.
The icing pen was the one he leaned towards the most. It seemed perfect, really. It could make anything anyone so desired as long as they knew how to draw or make hand potions. There were enough nozzle types to make everything seem exciting, and make it at least impossible to make it boring or uninteresting.
As he began to brainstorm and he got lost within his mind, the boy looked down at his finger and saw the ring. An idea suckerpunched him in the face.
Sheep Cupcake
"Ay er" he stated, attempting to get the attention of someone "Can someone get me the white frostin' some blueberries, and some black frostin' or somethin'?" he inquired to what felt like nobody.
He was more of asking to make sure it was fine. Sure he was not exactly working with the rest of the group, but this was far too much of a great idea to pass up.

Opeila hadn't expect anyone to talk to her that soon, but it felt like she had only sat there for a minute, when a little Ravenclaw girl came over. The first thing that Opeila noticed about her, was her hair. It looked adorable and somehow made her want to stroke it. Confused about that strange urge she smiled at the seemingly nervous girl.
She introduced herself as Breana Oliveire and told the Slytherin that she was here to decorate cupcakes as well... Or at least Opeila was quite sure that it was what the Ravenclaw wanted to tell her.
Opeila moved to the left to make some- unnecessary- space for Breana. There were not a lot of people yet, so there was more than enough space, but it was meant as an inviting gesture.
"Nice to meet you, Breana!", Opeila said smiling, shook her hand and pulled over the snack box. "Want some?"
The next minute Opeila was approached by another acquaintance. She had met the Hufflepuff at Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour, together with Willow and she had seemed like a rather shy person. Maybe Opeila would get a chance now to get to know her a bit better. Mildred was with another Hufflepuff, a boy Opeila had not met yet.
This time Mildred seemed like she was in a better mood, she greeted Opeila enthusiastically and then asked her who she would dedicate her cupcake to. Opeila looked at the cupcake. "Hmmm... I don't really know. I thought about Flash Holmwood maybe as at very bad thank you, that will definitely not make up for anything.", Opeila said. There was no way she could make it up to Flash, but this was a gesture at least.
Mildred had found Opeila's box of snacks now and gasped. She almost screamed at the Slytherin if she could have some of them, making her chuckle. "Help yourself!", she said, waving her hand towards the box.
The Hufflepuff boy now asked if someone could pass him some white and black frosting and blueberries. Opeila reached over the table to get the requestet items and handed them to the boy. "I don't believe, we have met yet, have we? Opeila Seilun. What are you gonna make?" She looked at the boy's cupcake.

While peering inside Opeila snack box, she saw a variety of snacks including; chocolate, biscuits, and fruit! Whoever had given this to Opeila must really love her or something. She automatically thought back to her parents and knew that never in a million years would they send her something like this. Her hand was already halfway inside the box when Opeila said she could have some, to be honest, she was going to sneak in some even if Opeila had not agreed. She picked up a biscuit that had chocolate glazed over it and started eating it, immediately the sweet taste of chocolate made her sigh of happiness.
She held up another one, "Hwey yowud guys sheoudl realley trey these!" She swallowed her food and coughed, "Sorry- you guys should really try these!" she held up the chocolatey goodness of a biscuit and ate it, "They are so good! Opeila where did you get these?" She peered back into the box and grabbed some blueberries and started snacking on those, she sent a silent thank you to Opeila because if she hadn't brought the snacks then... she eyed the bare cupcakes there, those would have been next.
She listened to Opeila, "Flash Holmward... where Have I heard that name from?" she wondered, she wasn't really sure. "I think that's a great thing to do for a friend though Opeila! you two are friends right? you haven't gotten any boyfriends since I last saw you right?" She was mainly teasing of course, although you could never know- kids these days and their relationships.
She watched as Ross asked for some supplies, she reached for them- for Opeila to reach and hand them first, she wondered what the boy was going to make? she silently wished him good luck.
She was still a tad upset over the rule of not being allowed to eat the food there.. they were the ones who were decorating it, in the end, she didn't want to break any of the rules. Finally deciding to get to work, she picked up a plate and placed a bare cupcake on it.
To the left of her were a variety of supplies consisting of; piping bags, fondant, sprinkles and an assortment of tools and of course frosting- there was so much frosting, she looked at them and thought back to the question at hand, what should she make and for who? She looked up and glanced at Breana, she didn't really want to be on any negative terms with anyone... She picked up a chocolate cupcake and placed it on her plate. Next, she picked up the small bowl containing some blue frosting and she grabbed another bowl with white frosting in it.
Mildred was never... the greatest at arts and crafts, especially decorating them- she was however decent at baking the food. She looked at the two bowls and picked up a spoon and a piping bag, She scooped up a generous amount of blue frosting and placed it inside the piping bag, doing the same with the white frosting. She then realized that it would have been better if she just mixed them together in a bowl, she grabbed a spare bowl and emptied everything out from the piping bag to the best of her ability.
She started mixing the frosting together and even dipped her finger in to make sure it tasted good, she hoped Breana wouldn't mind, she wouldn't right? And the frosting was really good, a shame she couldn't eat the cupcakes. She placed the mixed frosting into the piping bag once again and began to pipe some frosting onto the cupcake.
Suddenly, with a grand idea- she had an idea to actually spruce up her cupcake, she looked at the supplies they were given and grabbed a toothpick. She placed it into the bowl with the white frosting and placed it in the piping bag to lighten the color, she was trying to create an ombre? effect of some kind. In reality, she wasn't sure what she was doing but she just went for it. She then mixed in some more white frosting and made the dark blue color a lighter color, she then proceeded to do the process one more time.
Happy with the final product she looked around and her eyes brighten with the idea of using fondant, she grabbed some and wondered just what did fondant taste like? she tore off a piece and ate some... that wasn't against the rules, right? She immediately regretted it and thought about spitting it out however she was with some of her peers, she swallowed it and told her self- never again. She took a piece of brown fondant with some white and attempted to make a "book" of some sort since she had met Breana at the library. She grabbed her toothpick she used from before and rolled some white fondant with some brown and placed them together, she then grabbed the smallest pipe she could find and pipped a small "sorry" onto the cupcake.
She smiled at her Finished product and walked over to Breana, she lightly tapped her own the shoulders, "Hey..." crap. How should she go about this, "Uhm... I'm sorry for scaring you at the Library... and everything, I would say I didn't mean to but that's not really a proper excuse and I wasn't sure what I was thinking at the time..." She placed the plate with the cupcake down near her, "That's for you, I hope you can forgive me and we can be friends." she jumped, and raised her hands, " I MEAN or something! even strangers...? we don't have to be friends actually or anything." That could have gone worst right?
It was just then Mildred remembered that you weren't allowed to eat them- crap now this was going to make everything more awkward! giving Breana something she can't even eat, she quickly walked towards Opeila snack box and pulled out a biscuit and gave it to Breana, "something you can actually eat..."

Breana couldn't help but stare at the bonbons in amazement. She has a MASSIVE sweet tooth, so of course the caramel delights were partically impossible for the curly haired girl to notice. Still, she'd think it'd be insanely rude of her to target the bonbons when there's still students popping in for cupcake decoration, so she directed her hand to the second-most delectable-looking snack, which is the chocolate. She popped one in her mouth, smiling as she let the delicious sweet melt in her mouth as she chewed. "Mmph! Phank yoo!" She said before finishing up the sweet, setting down the piping equipment she brought.
As she was setting up her personal piping gear to decorate, she almost dropped all of the frosting tips when she realized who was already at the table, eating the same snacks Opeila was offering Breana.
Her.
That Hufflepuff girl that almost scared her half to death in the library. Looking back, it was just a simple spook gone wrong, and no harm has happened to her through it. Still, the girl left off of the scene in a blur, barely even giving Breana any small amount of an apology. So the little Ravenclaw pulled her guard up, her ears burning as she casually overhears what her group has been talking about with Opeila. Thankfully, the conversation is just full of personal stuff: a mutual friend, help with a cupcake, boyfriends...
With that ease of mind, she focused on decorating a cupcake. The back of her mind crept in, suggesting to decorate a cupcake to a certain someone she met not too long ago. She shook her head at such a thought, her cheeks starting to burn a soft red hue. She literally just met the boy, for Merlin's sake! A cupcake would be a bit much. Still... it'll give a good first impression...
Then a tap on here shoulder propped up. She turned around, her eyes wide in surprise as she saw the Hufflepuff girl, with an already decorated cupcake on her hands. Is.. is that a book...? Breana blinked, surprised as she started apologizing to her. "Oh, uh yeah. It's water under bridge, really. I'm glad you apologized, though." As expected, the cupcake with the book and the tiny scribble that has the word "sorry" on it is for her. She smiled, still a bit awkward with the whole scenario but overall grateful. As Mildred fumbled for a biscuit, now realizing you can't eat the cupcake, Breana laughed along and accepted the biscuit as well. "Well..." She set the cupcake aside, just to avoid knocking it over. She brought her piping stuff closer to the both of them. "We can start with being cupcake partners, for starters." Breana smiled, handing the Hufflepuff an empty piping bag. "I'm Breana, by-the-by. I didn't catch your name, 'cause of obvious reasons..." She chuckled, filling up her piping bag with frosting-- One part blue on one side, one part silver on the other. A nifty little trick her mother taught her back home.

Of course, Mildred had never been the best with apologizes- she would stutter and shake often trying to do them but she supposed that this had gone decent enough, she wasn't shaking in fear and she was able to say the apology without adding some random detail about her life or something like that. It was definitely a relief to the small Hufflepuff girl when Breana had stated that what had happened was under the bridge, Mildred was tempted to apologize again... a poor habit she had. "I would love to be cupcake partners! Thank you for giving me a chance..." She shuffled closer to Breana and took the empty piping bag, and beamed widely at the girl. "Thank you! and It's nice to officially exchange our names, I'm Mildred Wilson! perhaps... we could start over? it's nice to meet you, Breana!"
Mildred wasn't sure exactly what to do now, who should she make a cupcake for next? An awful feeling of... dread? began to set, for some reason, she had felt like she was forgetting something... "Hey... is there any school events happening today? I can't help but to feel like something important was happening today?" She shrugged it off though, perhaps it was just another test or something like that- although she would have remembered it, is what she told herself.
She cautiously watched as Breana fill her piping bag with two colors, it seemed that Breana definitely knew what she was doing- unlike her, "Have you done this before? I mean... like the whole decorating thing " She pointed towards Breana piping bag, perhaps Breana could teach her something here and there. Soon, Mildred had thought about her dorm mate Willow and realized that she would love a cupcake, she soon planned out what she should make for her and what colors, "Say... Breana, do you have anyone that comes to mind for you know... giving a cupcake too?"

Mildred told others around to try the chocolate biscuits as well. The Slytherin couldn't help but be a little indignant that the Hufflepuff, who barely even knew her, was free enough to ask others to eat snacks that were not hers. It was not that Opeila would have said no, but she would still have preferred if Mildred had asked her before.
Opeila chuckled over Mildred's enthusiasm about the chocolat biscuits. "Where I come from, there is a little biscuit and cakes shop just down the road. And Lady Margary- that is my grandmother- she asked me to let her take part in my life at Hogwarts. She went here herself. So she was absolutely happy to make a snackbox.", she said, smiling.
Opeila missed her grandmother a lot. The first year felt a little lost without the old woman's advice. Not to mention that tomorrow would be her first birthday without her around... It felt weird. Kind of wrong somehow.
When Opeila told Mildred that she wanted to make a cupcaked for Flash Holmwood, Mildred said that it was a great idea and asked her if they were friends.
And then she asked, if Opeila got a boyfriend since the last time they saw each other, seemingly implying something there. Opeila quickly shook her head... blushing a little, to her own anger. It was not even that Mildred hit a sensitive topic, it just was a weird imagination to date Flash.
To her, Flash was her guardian angel. And a great friend. But not more... she just wanted to thank him for saving her life.
"No. I don't have a boyfriend. Dating at twelve- or eleven... I'm gonna be twelve tomorrow, I'll just go with twelve- is weird, isn't it? Aren't relationships more for grown-ups?" Opeila shrugged. She had not much of an idea about that topic.
Luckily Mildred dropped the topic as well and instead focused on her cupcake. Curiously Opeila looked at it, she still had no idea what to do with her own. Mildred put purple frosting on it and a little apology note.
Alright, it stopped being Opeila's buiness there. If she had a problem with someone else, Opeila would not be tactless enough to ask her about it. Instead she looked at her cupcake. What would Flash like? She looked at all the different possibilities to decorate. How could she decide there?
Instead she looked up when Mildred walked away and handed the cupcake to the cute little Ravenclaw, together with a chocolate biscuit.
If Mildred looked back to Opeila, the Slytherin would show her an inobtrusive thumbs-up.
She was no fan of apologies, but agreed on them being useful to either help to reach own targets or make the apologizer feel better. But Breana seemed to value apologies, so it was fine.
Opeila would let the two girls talk and instead focused on her ow cupcake. Looking at it with a slight frown, she took a piping bag, silver and dark green frosting. As far as she thought she knew, Flash was not a person of a lot of colour and decoration. Simple beauty it would be.
She leaned over to Breana. "Hey! Can you show me how you did that with the two-coloured frosting", she asked her.

The little Ravenclaw started squeezing the piping bag, making sure all of the air escaped from it for proper decorating. "Great! It's no big, really. If ye were just gonna come up to me like it was nothin', then we'd have to get a talk." Breana said, squeezing out a small little blip of the frosting before decorating the cupcakes. "So I'm glad you got to apologize when you got the chance." She smiled as the girl, whose name was Mildred, as she suggested to just start over. Breana held out her free hand to Mildred. "Hello, Mildred, whom I totally never met at all! Let's decorate them cupcakes, yeah?" She laughed at her little bit, getting back to frosting the cupcakes.
Her eyes looked over at Mildred, before eyeing back at the cupcakes. "I dunno... I only got my eyes set on this decorating thing... Maybe there's something about some changes in classes? New brooms, maybe?" She said, trying to piece out something that could be the answer she was looking for.
"Hm?" She blinked, then looked over at the piping as Mildred pointed at it. "Ah, yeah! My mom taught this to me... She stays at home to take care of me, so most of the time she bakes stuff for me. Decorating's the only thing I know, though... well, except for pancakes, that is." She smiled. Breana blinked for a moment as Mildred asked her another question. "Wh-- w-who... I wanna give a cupcake to....?" She stammered."I-i... Well, there's maybe one-- well, I-i dunno... he probably doesn't remember me, s-so... er..."
Her eyes darted eyes to Opeila, thankful that she saved her from becoming a stuttering mess. "YEAH--I-i mean..." Breana cleared her throat. "Yeah, suresuresure! I can teach ya!" She said, opening up the piping bag to show Opeila and Mildred the insides. "It's easy, really. I just make sure one side is filled with one color, while the other is filled with a different one. Then just make sure it doesn't have any bubbles! Keeping it all filled up, but not mixing." She then closes the bag and piped out a swirl of frosting on a cupcake. "And vai-o-lah!" She exclaimed, showing them the cupcake.
