When Lucia made her way to the courtyard, she was pleasantly surprised at the way that Lindsey had set everything up. There was an area for music and dancing - which she would definitely have to check out later - the wishing wall, which Lindsey had thought of when she and Lucia first met, a food and drink area (alcohol free, of course) and a chatting area, which Lucia decided she would probably stay away from if too many people turned up.
The weather was hot and Lucia had dressed accordingly - she wore blue denim knee-length shorts with embroidered daisies on them, and a white t-shirt with straps rather than full sleeves. Usually, the girl prefered to wear skirts, but she felt like it was too hot for even that and the wind might blow it upwards. Lucia Fox did not want everyone to see her pants - or, for that matter, the small family crest that was stitched on the hem of her skirts. At least with shorts it was inside the waistline and therefore invisible no matter how much wind showed up. She had also, for once, put her hair up - rather than letting it hang freely as she usually did, she had pulled it into a high ponytail and sercured it with a white scrunchie over the top of the bobble.
It seemed like, apart from Lindsey, who stood near the food table wearing a pretty blue dress, no-one else had yet arrived and so the first-year made her way over to her fellow badger.
"I hope none of the chocolate melts," she smiled in way of greeting.

Scarlett felt out of place with the Hufflepuffs, but nevertheless, she forged on. When she found out there were way more end-of-year parties than just the one in the Gryffindor common room, she was determined to go to as many as possible and meet new people.

Scarlett had awkwardly studied herself in the mirror - she had grown over the year without realising it. It honestly seemed like the 11 year old girl who had bounded onto the Hogwarts Express was gone, and was replaced by a possibly even more feisty, spunky version. It had only been a year, but here she was, looking different and being deep.

Anyway, she had on a nicely thrown together ensemble, consisting of white trainers, a loose white top and red shorts with white lining, just to show a little house pride. Her hair was down and newly cut, and Scarlett was generally feeling alright. Sure, maybe no Gryffindors would come but that was a possibility. She would take the time to make inter-house friends.

She went to the courtyard where the few early people were trickling in. She saw Lucia and Lindsey among them, as well as some Hufflepuffs. The whole thing was decorated rather nicely, and Scarlett immediately went over to the food table - what did they have tonight?

As usual, Alexa was a little nervous about the end of the year party Lindsey had planned. She was happy to hang with her friends, but she wasn’t sure about hanging with a bunch of new people. For all that she had met many people this year, she was still shy.

She wondered if people would be dressing up for the shindig. Standing at the end of her bed before her open trunk, Alexa hoped it wasn’t a very dressy event! She looked down at her collection of clothes and sighed. She didn’t have very many options.

She ended up going with her old standards: the clothes she wore to explore the Highlands of Scotland. These included some battered trainers, a pair of jeans that were faded from washing and ripped at the knee from crawling around small spaces, and finally a T-shirt that had “Inverness” scrawled across the top of it. The shirt was gray, and fitted somewhat loosely. She looked in the mirror and frowned. She looked rather scuffed up, she thought, but there was nothing she could do about that. She debated for a while on whether or not to put up her hair as she usually did, and finally decided to leave the great red mane down. She headed down to the courtyard.

Lindsey had outdone herself, with beautiful decorations, and different areas of the courtyard labeled for different activities. She was particularly drawn to the music corner, though no one was playing yet as there were only a few people here.

She went straight to Lindsey, and noticed another Hufflepuff girl with her whom she thought was named Lucia, but she wasn’t sure as they had never been formally introduced.

“Hi, Lindsey! Everything looks amazing.” She smiled at a Gryffindor girl who was perusing the table of food. She really hoped Clifton and Alina would come to the party. She turned to the other girl. “Hi, I’m Alexa. I know we are in the same House and everything, so I’m sorry I haven’t introduced myself before…” She trailed off awkwardly, holding out her hand uncertainly.

"Pssst!"

It got far more attention than it needed to, but then what else had Clifton been expecting standing this close to the entrance of the girl's dorms? Never in his life had he wished so badly he could just send a text.

"Alina," he said. "I'm sure it's a fabulous book, but we're gonna miss all the lemon drops if--"

Another girl's face filled the crack in the door, so suddenly and so angrily that Clifton backpedaled and nearly fell down the steps.

"Get lost! Before I tell Professor Browne."

"...that we're going to miss all the lemon drops?" he said, trying to mask his being startled by catching himself on the edge of the doorway. And by throwing on an innocent smile for good measure. It was a stupid move, and he knew it. But that didn't always equate to helping it.

It really only equated to three swollen fingers once the girl slammed the door.

"Merlin's--" he yanked his hand out of the door and tried to shake the pain out. Then sucked on his swelling fingertips before giving it another try and knocking.

The door opened, this time revealing another dorm mate who was grinning ear to ear. One of those smiles that was so friendly it was unsettling.

"Sorry about that," she said. "You're welcome to come in and find her yourself. We promise we won't tel--"

"I'm gonna go with no, but thanks," Clifton immediately interrupted, feeling the color rush to his face at just the thought of trying to explain that one to the head of house. "Just tell her that the stars are out of whack because I'm finally early to something." Then, by way of translation, added: "I'll be in the Common Room."

Then to a chorus of giggles, he walked back the way he'd come, trying to distract himself by straightening the his shirt. Thanks to his mom being a fashion designer, he looked like he cared about his outfit much more than he really did. It was a simple shorts and shirt combo he'd been told a least a dozen times went together well, even if the shirt was a little itchy.

Clifton flopped down in one of the chairs to wait. It would be worth the swollen fingers.
It always was when it came to his friends.

The giggles alone let her know he was there from her fellow first years. None of them had boyfriends yet so they were still the crazy immature types when it came to love and relationships - not that Alina was really experienced herself, persay, but her and Clifton had some kind of connection that was unique and wonderful.

"Okay, okay, move along, girls. Quit torturing him," and she made her way through the small crowd by the door and skipped down the steps. When she got to the common room she bounded up to him and threw her arms around him, pulling herself up to kiss his lips. "How is it I'm the late one and you're the early one? Did we enter the Midnight Zone?" she asked, remembering some kind of muggle television program he had told her about, only...getting the title wrong.

"We better get going, Clive. I don't want to see Lindsey Springhall when she's angry. We saw her take on those suits of armor with her martial arts skills. We've got to stay on that girl's good side," and she slipped her hand into his own. "Escort me to the courtyard, Mr. Troublefield?"

The two headed off from the Hufflepuff Common Room to the Courtyard where they'd attend the end of the year party that was long in the making. She was excited to enjoy an evening free of studies with her friends.

Lucia arrived first.
“Hey Lucia!” Lindsey grinned. She felt that this girl she had met in the rehearsal room would make a good friend.
“I hope none of the chocolate melts,” Lucia said to her.
“Yeah me too. Hopefully they won’t!” Lindsey answered.
A girl now came over towards the food table. Lindsey recognized her as a girl in her club, but what’s her name? She wondered.
Adeline? Adele? No, but an abbreviation of her last name…she searched for a while in her head, and decided it might be Adey——her family name’s Aden or something like that?
Lindsey walked over.
“Hi…Adey right?” She asked. “What’s your first name please? I’m Lindsey, by the way.” She smiled.
Alexa had arrived now too. Lindsey greeted her friend, and offered some candies to Alexa.
“Hey Lucia, this is Alexa; and Alexa, this is Lucia——I believe you haven’t met before?” she introduced the two badgers to each other.
Not many people were coming over. Lindsey felt very relieved. She couldn’t think if plenty of people came, and chatted here——that would be very, very scary.
“I guess Alina’s on her way.” Lindsey said, throwing a second lemon drop into her mouth. “I feel that this kind of candy is very delicious now and I’m afraid they would be gone before Miss Rosier and Clifton arrive…” She smiled.
After all, this seemed a not bad small party.

"Yeah, me too. Hopefully they won't!" Lindsey replied, and grinning Lucia swiped a bar from the table.
As she was beginning to unwrap it, a Gryffindor she recognised walked into the courtyard. Scarlett came over to the food table where the two Huffles were standing and Lindsey turned to greet her.
“Hi…Adey right? What’s your first name please? I’m Lindsey, by the way,” she said, and Lucia bit back a snort. Adey?
"It's Aden - close though," she told her friend with a smile and turned to the Aden in question, greeting her. "Hi Scarlett," Lucia said, hopefully remembering her name correctly. "I've bagged the chocolate and I think Lindsey's eating all the lemon drops, but hopefully there should be something left for you!" she joked.
Then, another girl entered the courtyard. She boasted a magnificent mane of red hair, but seemed rather scruffy.
“Hi, Lindsey! Everything looks amazing," she said, before turning to Lucia and holding her hand out. “Hi, I’m Alexa. I know we are in the same House and everything, so I’m sorry I haven’t introduced myself before.”
As Lucia shook it, Lindsey held out some sweets for the girl and introduced her, saying, “Hey Lucia, this is Alexa; and Alexa, this is Lucia—I believe you haven’t met before?”
"No," Lucia confirmed and smiled at the girl. "I think I've seen you around in the common room though."
Lindsey placed another lemon drop into her mouth and said, “I guess Alina’s on her way. I feel that this kind of candy is very delicious now and I’m afraid they would be gone before Miss Rosier and Clifton arrive…”
Lucia raised her eyebrows in mock horror, saying, "Oh, you wouldn't eat all the food before everyone arrived, would you?"
Then she took a bite of the chocolate bar in her hand, and wondered why Lindsey called Alina Miss Rosier.

Guitar | Outfit

It feel like only yesterday that Cash attend this school and soon the young Serpent will be Second Year next month. Cash felt like reminiscing good old time by wandering around the campus. Cash remembered how often they got lost or entered the wrong classroom with how big the castle is.

Then when they wander around, a small message on the entrance hall caught the green eyes attention. Cash read closely and their smile spread wide. Free food and music that is the best combination in Cash's book. Students and Staffs alike getting creative making some events around school. After they read it, Cash hurriedly got back to their dorm room.

Today Cash wear a blue and black checkered shirt combine with white tee, light blue jeans and white sneakers. To completed their look they put on their beloved sunglasses on. They grab their guitar. On the fret board of the guitar neck it spell IRONWOODS in silver cursive lettering. When they stepped into the courtyard, the sun shine bright above their head.

Cassie directly walk towards where the party that Lindsey held. They put down their guitar on the table where there is a label 'Music & Dancing' on top of it then they decided to walk to the next table where food and drink being served. "Nice get together you have here, Holly"Cash decided to call Lindsey name by the name where both of the student in a club.

"Also nice seeing you here too Alexa and Adey"Cash greet the other two badgers. They their green eyes shift to the next girl. "I do not think we ever met. My name is Cassandra, Cash for short"Cash introduces their name to the other girl that stand beside the table near Lindsey, Alexa and Scarlett. "So, are we waiting for this party to be full house or we could just start?"Cash inquires the host for the party.

A Hufflepuff girl walked over to her, with golden-brown hair. Scarlett recognised her - Lindsey Springhall, or Holly from The Friends of the ABC.

“Hi…Adey right?” asked Holly Lindsey. “What’s your first name please? I’m Lindsey, by the way.”

"It's Aden," smiled Lucia. "Close though."

"Hi Scarlett," Lucia continued, turning to her. "I've bagged the chocolate and I think Lindsey's eating all the lemon drops, but hopefully there should be something left for you!"

Scarlett laughed. "Then I'll just have to settle for Muggle candy. I never knew you were a chocolate eater."

Scarlett turned to Lindsey quickly.

"I'm Scarlett," she said brightly. "And my last name is Aden, but in that club, I was Adey, yeah."

She paused for a bit before carrying on.

"Are you the host? Because this is honestly a really great party, and it hasn't even fully started yet!"

Scarlett reached for some Muggle candy, popping it in her mouth. It was sour and hard - she really didn't understand why Muggles would eat such a thing. But it was also quite endearing. And yes, the party seemed really cool so far. The decorations were fabulous and all the sections seemed amazing - she would have to go to the Wishing and Achievement Wall sometime.

Another girl wandered in the party - Scarlett didn't know her house. She had sunglasses on and a guitar with IRONWOODS spelt on it.

Ironwoods, thought Scarlett. That rings a bell...

The girl talked a bit to Lindsey, then said to her and another Hufflepuff with the same flaming red hair, "Also, nice seeing you here too Alexa and Adey."

Then it clicked - she was Ironwoods, or Woody, from the ABC! And of course, now Scarlett knew the girl next to her was named Alexa.

"Hi Woody," said Scarlett, grinning. "If you don't mind, what's your first name? Because, you know, we only knew each other's surnames in the ABC."
