The Fox & The Bunny

Selene saw as the house-elves began to prepare a table for her, however, she politely denied them, telling them that she was already prepared. Opening up her basket, she grabbed her picnic blanket. After all, it's not everyday she had the chance to use the old thing. The blanket had a beautiful knitted heart patterns on it. The color reflected the blue sky. Selene gracefully sat down as she puts besides her little basket near her. She liked the idea of it, doing an errand while also enjoying her quality time alone. It's not that she didn't have much friends, well, that's true, with her mental ability on knowing how to trust someone, it was hardly that she could find someone who she can enjoy a comfortable silence with, nor keep up a conversation long enough not to annoy her. Well, she hides it so well no wonder people wouldn't know that they annoy her at times. Selene fixed her robe as a sudden gush of wind flew by. Fortunately enough, her hair was already in a ponytail, not too tidy to make it look a little more effortless, well even tho it was. Brushing her hair was already a pain in the first place, you can imagine how frustrated Selene was having to clean the mess her hair would make. 'No. 'She thought to herself.'Today is an annoyed-free day, no negative thinking, just clearing your mind off.' Selene let out a sigh as her mind speaks. Her mind can be a mind that is just, both enjoyable yet also the biggest enemy she has. She both love and hate it.
Nonetheless, she stretched her arms and fixed her posture before asking one of the house elves for the ingredients needed on making the teabags. She already had something in mind on what the shapes would be like. She intends on making 10 pieces for each shapes, I know, so much for teabags right? She's going to throw it out either way, so why? Duh, obviously because she loves tea of course. the only person she cares about would be her Aunt. But Selene already made her another gift. After all, most of the percentage of reasons she's doing this would be the money and chocolate frogs.
As soon as the house-elves arrived, with the ingredients as well the tea-leaves she asked for, Selene immediately started working, of course not forgetting to thank the house elves once more. She then went straight to do the process. With a gleeful smile plastered on her face and her eyes brimming with excitement. How many times did she mentally said to herself how amazing the idea for this was? It's been a while ever since she could enjoy herself and be so focused to finish a project. She loved it. Very.
It's obvious to know from the title what shapes of animals she'll be making, The Fox & The Bunny. There's no actual story behind it, just the fact on how ironic it is. How can a fox and a bunny be good friends? That's just the way of nature between prey and predators. No, by any means she was not inspired by the film 'zootopia' . The concept behind it also hides behind what flavor it'll be.The first one would be, the rabbit. Once as a child her mother once told her of the many stories of a rabbit that resides within the moon. There were many versions of the story, although Selene's personal favorite would be the Japan version of it called, 'Tsuki No Usagi'.
'Many years ago, the Old Man of the Moon decided to visit the Earth. He disguised himself as a beggar and asked Fox (Kitsune), Monkey (Saru), and Rabbit (Usagi) for some food.
Monkey climbed a tree and brought him some fruit. Fox went to a stream, caught a fish, and brought it back to him. But Rabbit had nothing to offer him but some grass. So he asked the beggar to build a fire. After the beggar started the fire, Rabbit jumped into it and offered himself as a meal for the beggar to eat.
Quickly the beggar changed back into the Old Man of the Moon and pulled Rabbit from the fire. He said "You are most kind, Rabbit, but don't do anything to harm yourself. Since you were the kindest of all to me, I'll take you back to the moon to live with me."
The Old Man carried Rabbit in his arms back to the moon and he is still there to this very day exactly where the Old Man left him. Just look at the moon in the night sky and the rabbit is there!'

If you think about it, it was her personal favorite because of how foolish the rabbit was, and how naive she was as a child. The fact that the rabbit would sacrifice itself for an unknown man that it never ever met. As she grows, she hated the moral of the story that only resulted for the rabbit to die. Yet, somehow it will have some sort of a special place in her memories. Time flies by quickly once Selene manage to fulfill her goal on making ten of the teabags, now for the tea leaves and the taste. She was already prepared for it, although she might need some more help from house-elves. The ingredients for the bunnies would be a moon related one, obviously. So, she decided to make a pink moon tea. Besides it would look great with the rabbit teabag, and the color is just beautiful. God, all of this rabbit talking suddenly made her crave for some carrot cakes. She made sure to tell the house-elves if they could find her some or make her some, the house-elves would nod at the smiling girl that looks like she was radiating a pleasant aura, this was one of those days where nothing could go wrong for her. She even made sure to give them little snacks for helping her. In secret, of course.
The next teabag that she'll make would be the fox. While the bunny was a representation of the moon, the fox would be the sun. A more commonly known story about the fox would be the "Nine-tailed Demon.' The total opposite of the rabbit. The fox will always be represented as the cunning ones in folk fores or myths. The concept she took for the fox to be sun would be because the sun could kill you, I mean if you seek nearer to it, it will only burn you to death. No wonder her 'friends' called her that back in those old days. Finally, after everything was set, Selene decided to add a tad bit of surprise to her animal-shaped teabags. For the rabbit ones, every time someone finished their tea, it would jump around the teacup with excitement before turning back into a plain teabag. For the fox ones, if somehow someone pours hot water on them their tail would swiftly move, while their nose would move as if it took a whiff of something of the sorts, before turning back to it's usual sleeping position. Nevertheless, as soon as she was done with the tea bags. She kept them safe inside her tea set storage.

Carefully, the young girl stood up and began to tidy up her sport. Letting out a relieved sigh, she fixed her hair before turning around and going back to where she came from. Not forgetting to greet the elves as she leaves the courtyard.
'This was fun,' Selene thought silently 'I should do this more often.' And with that off she goes to god-knows where.
