Dear Quill Pal,

Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you or write with you. Keeping our identities a secret sounds good, surprisingly there are quite a few anonymous letters between students around here so this will fit in quite well I believe.

I don't know how much I'll discuss my emotions or situations but it will feel nice to know that I can or at least write about them to someone else instead of in one of my journals. I'll love to help you with your own problems through, so don't feel like your need to hide after all we don't know who the other person is.

Thank you for the gifts, I enjoyed cookies and shared them with my house mates actually. Well technically I opened this in my common room and my friend saw so I gave them a few. The shirt is brilliant as well, I don't have many black shirts mainly grey so thank you. I'm not really a fan of chocolate but I tried the ones you sent and their good, the rest I gave to my friends who are big on sweets so thanks.

I wanted to show my appreciation for the gifts so enclosed with the letter is a chocolate frog (tell me what card you get), a bag of jelly slugs, and a bracelet that I made myself so it may not be the best quality.

Dear lone wolf,

Many write anonymous letters!? I didn’t know about that, I know they write letters but almost all of them I know revealed their names in their first letter, well, I know that they write to make friends. Everyone likes to make friends, don’t they? I too, but I am so shy that I am not able to speak more than few words to anybody and I hate myself for that.

I can be your human diary, you can write me anything. If you want me to reply to that, I will. If you don’t want me to, I’ll not then. And if you don’t want to write something to me, feel free, you don’t have to, I am not going to force you. We both don’t know who we are... that makes me write everything from my heart.

Happy to know that you enjoyed the cookies, that’s my fav. Haha, there’s nothing wrong With sharing but if I receive anything that I like a lot, I would open it in my dorm when no one sees it. Well, I thought that everyone loves black, that’s why I asked my mom to buy a black shirt. But it seems like you like grey a lot, noted. Same here! I don’t like chocolates as well, it’s overrated.

Just thought to ask, why lone wolf? Do you like to be alone? From reading your letter, I thought you have a lot of friends. But if you don’t want to answer, you don’t have to.

Dear NightOwl,

The ones that write anonymous letters, mainly just leave them out around the owlery for someone to find then when someone finds it they began to write anonymous letters. I seen a few around the owlery before which is how I know.

I'm shy to, I prefer to listen rather than speak myself but I also enjoy making friends. My friends are either introverts like myself or a extrovert that I can hide behind or grow confidence from. You sound like a cool person though and I hope one day that we meet in person even if we don't know it exactly.

You can write to me whatever you want as well and I'll try my best to help you or give your motivation or inspiration words or anything that could possibly help you. I'll keep the offer in mind as well, writing something out that someone could read instead of in a journal sounds nice.

The cookies were really good and I enjoyed them thoroughly just if I want to be alone then my dormitory isn't the best place for it. There's a mixture of trouble makers and quiet people in the dormitory, we all know each other and tend to know each other's limits but also how to push others buttons so privacy isn't something in my dormitory that's heard of.

I like black clothing and the shirt was wicked, I don't have a preference really over clothing colors or types. Most of mine are from my elder brother anyway so minus a few hoodies and shirts I guess. Do you have any favorite clothing styles or colors?

You don't like chocolate either? That's wicked to find another who doesn't really like them to, I'm not a big sweet person myself but I perfer it occasionally however I have a few friends who are big on sweets.

I'm glad you like the gifs. I make quite a few bracelets actually, I gotten pretty good at them over the years but their all I can create actually. I'm currently learning how to crochet so I may send you a crochet stuff animal in the future.

Alberta Toothill. That's wicked, I got two of her but I collected them for years. At one time before coming to Hogwarts my friend and I had a competition with who could collect which ones first. I have quite the few, maybe I could send them to you? My favorite are Newt Scamander and Remus Lupin, there also two I would say are my role models or I look up to. Is there anyone that you look up to in history?

I have a bit of friends, more than I originally thought I would. I choose the name because I thought it would be different or interesting, also for another reason. The name 'Lone Wolf' means a lot more to mean than most because The name 'Lone Wolf' can have different meanings or stances so that's why I choose it. Could I ask why you choose Night Owl?

You have sent anonymous letters before!? Well, this is my first time sending an anonymous letter to someone and I really like this. I am so happy that I don’t need to lie, act, wear a fake smile on my face and pretend to be okay, at least here. That’s what I like the most about this.

I think we both have many things in common. Same here, I like to listen more than I like to talk. But I don’t know if it’s my shyness that’s stopping me from saying what I wanted to say. Or was it my fear that stopped me?
Do you think I am cool? Thanks! But no one said this before and I am pretty sure no one’s going to. And even you won’t say that if we both meet by any chance.

Thanks! I really like this offer and I am currently using it. I am writing whatever I feel after reading your letter so that at least today I can sleep well without any overthinking. I don’t know if inspirational words could help me, I have already tried it. After reading all your letters, I don’t know who you are but I can say that you’re a very good human being.

If I need some time alone, I could just isolate myself from others in my dorm room and I liked it. But it seems like you’re having a fun time in your dorm, I envy you for that. Lol, Just Kidding.

I am comfortable wearing T-shirts and jeans but that doesn’t mean that I don’t like to wear other types of clothing. It’s just I stick with whatever is comfortable for me. But usually, I like to wear dark coloured clothes. But why do you wear your brother’s clothes? Is it because you like his selection of clothes? If it’s personal, you don’t have to answer.

Once upon a time, I liked, no, I loved chocolates but not now. I don’t know why, but I started hating them eventually. My mother filled our house with chocolates, not for me but for her. Maybe, because of that, I got bored of it... I am not clear why.

YOU’RE SO SO SOOOO TALENTED! You know? Looking at the wonderful bracelet you made, I am wishing to make something beautiful like this but I don’t know if I am capable. Well, I am not so into collecting chocolate cards currently but Newt Scamander and Remus Lupin are my favourites too!

Yes, it’s interesting and I don’t know what you’re trying to say by different meaning but it’s a nice name tho. Night owl... nothing interesting, it’s just I like everything about night and usually, I sleep very late at night. I started loving owls since the day I first saw them in the owlery... ‘love at first sight’.

Dear NightOwl,

I only written one anonymous letter, the others I seen around the owlery. Which actually is what I wanted it suggest, leaving the letter in the small crack below the owl perches near the door on the right is a good spot to hides these if you want to.

I'm glad that you get to be yourself with the letters and I hope through time I could help you through them as well.

I think we have similar interest as well, perhaps in a few years you can work on your shyness and find that you do like to talk to others and I'll help you as much as I can.

I think I would think your cool if we met in person, you seem like a kindhearted and amazing individual from your letters and I don't think that would change if we met.

Thank you and maybe inspiration words won't but having some to support you will and I may not technically know who you are but I do want to try my best to help you.

I wouldn't say fun is the correct word to describe it dormitory. I would say chaotic or hectic, just a lot of things typically happen in my dorm but even if they get on your nerves it's also nice to know your dorm mates know you and can have your back at times.

I perfer jeans as well and occasionally dark colored clothing I guess. It isn't personal or anything, my brother has good clothing sense and I do like his selection but in the past years I couldn't exactly get many new ones for myself so I just take his. Not that I'm complaining and my family is doing better now, well we have a but more money now.

I liked chocolate to just occasionally I get tried of it and can only eat a piece or two. I don't know it's odd but why does your mother fill your house with chocolate for herself?

I think that's a beautiful reason why you chose the name; NightOwl. The owls in the owlery are quite brilliant when you see them and I tend to go up their a few times myself, how funny would it be if we passed each other a few times already in the owlery without knowing it. Anyway I better go, I want to review my charms essay but I look forward to finding your next letter.

That’s Awesome! It’s so nice to be friends with like-minded people and people with similar interest. I came here to overcome my..... shyness? I understood. Well, if I had any sister, I would have borrowed some of her dresses as I think I have very bad taste when it comes to clothing, and also my mom says that often. Sometimes, she decides what I should wear.

You know what? Wherever I go... I mean in my home... I could see a chocolate bar or box and... sometimes in my bedroom!.... I don’t know how it entered my bedroom tho I didn’t take it inside. She has at least 5 chocolate bars, that too, a big one inside her handbag.

I agree about having friends with similar interests but also friends that are the opposite if you are nice to have as well. I know that my friends have helped me in ways I can't describe and I hope I can help you like they have helped me.

Well, then I guess ours is success as we’ve been writing for about 10 days and I am not going to stop writing you. Thanks for saying that, well, I think I am kind but when I read intelligent with words, I laughed out loud but thanks anyway. And you have to know that I AM so lucky to write to someone, who makes me feel good about myself and is so positive like you.

Yeah, and this letter is going to be placed there and I hope I don’t get caught by you when I place the letter there.

You have a point, I agree with you. Making friends itself awesome, so whoever it is, it’s not in our hands. I mean, we might not know now, what place they hold in our heart in the future. And I am happy to have made friend with a lovely person like you who tries to help me.

Last night in the owlery... well, who knows? I think there’s a high chance that it could be me, haha. Just kidding, unfortunately, it’s not me as I am not a gryffindor don’t write my letters there because I don’t want to get caught by you so easily and don’t you think it’s too soon to reveal my identity? Haha.

I don’t know why you said that but you have to know, Whichever house you’re in, I really don’t care. And I don’t judge you based on your house. I’ve already made my judgement, that you have an outstanding personality and you’re an excellent human being, that’s what I think about you and it’s not going to change at all, for sure.

It’s nothing that I feel uncomfortable about, I don’t have siblings, it’s just me and my mom. It’s going to be the same boring days when I get back there during the summer holidays.

Who knows? She is weird, to be frank. Even I don’t understand her after being with her for about 12 years. Even I am eager to know what I’ll come up with but still thinking about what to do, no idea about how and what to start with.

Dear NightOwl,

11 days now and soon to months with the summer holiday if we continue during it. I am lucky to be writing wary someone has positive and fun as yourself as well, I'm not actually a positive or optimistic person but you help me change that with each letter.

Friends are the one thing that has helped me more than I could think of at Hogwarts, I'm thankful for my friends and even if we never met in person I am glad to call you a friend.

Hopefully that spot doesn't force us to reveal each other's identity to the other since your right it is to soon. So you write your letters somewhere else and the crossed out part in your letter I should ignored right?

People assumed a lot of things about my house and the people in it, most are wrong but rumors are still out there about it. Thank you through for telling me that you won't judge me based on my house since I don't judge anyone based on their house either. A part of me really wants to meet you while another part want to continue writing to you.

You clothing style is probably brilliant and I bet that at this current moment your wearing something amazing. Maybe a cool scarf or house sweater? Or is it a fancy watch or creative headband? Anyway I'm sorry to hear that it's just you and your mum, what about your father? My summer holidays aren't that entertaining either, my father will be occupied airy his engagement and summer wedding this holiday and my older brother will no doubt be busy with his auror tests. So writing to you will surely be a fun experience this summer holiday at least for me.Will you be attending the camp this year?
