Dear Headmaster Lear and Professor Pendrast,
I've recently had an unexpected talk with my daughter, which revealed a few facts about recent events at the school, which she wasn't eager to discuss and talk about. While I would have the audience with Mr. Athanatos' father to discuss the manners of boys assaulting girls physically based on whatever reasons they have, I understand that it is not your responsibility to educate the manners, as well as it is impossible to track and prevent cases like this.
With this in mind, I would like to request the removal of my daughter from the prefect position in the foreseeable future. Please, give her some time to settle with this, let's say, until the end of the year, before bringing this into action. But I am not the one to dictate you the rules, of course. I can see that it wouldn't hurt to free her from her responsibilities and put her away from public attention, would only help to avoid situations like this in future.
