I was happy to have met you a couple of times at the summer camp and am a little sad that it was over way too quickly. I have not gotten to ask you how you will be spending the rest of the summer or if you got any plans at all aside from going to Jake's birthday party. My family and I are currently in New Romney where we will be spending most of the remaining summer as it seems. We arrived yesterday evening and I already unpacked my stuff, we have rented a small home near the beach so that will be fun. I cannot wait to see you again so let me hear back from you please! You can just use Ivy, that is what the owl who is delivering this letter is called.

It was pleasant to see you; I am sorry our interactions were a little shorter than they should have been. Besides Jake’s birthday party, I’ll be in muggle London for a week or so with my grandparents running errands and then shopping for school after that. Other than that, I am spending the rest of the summer in France with my grandparents, uncle, and cousin. I hope you have a good time at the beach! I am glad that you and your family can enjoy such a relaxing moment.
I am hoping they will open up duelling in school this year to join, and if they do, I wonder how it will be run. If there will be teams like we had during summer camp or not, and if we do, will there be captains? That would be interesting, don’t you think? Captain San! I made sure to Hydrate Ivy as well as give her some snacks for the journey home. She is a beautiful owl and very well behaved; she didn’t try to attack Kahlan once. I got a lizard, by the way!

I was happy to hear back from you so quickly and am quite happy to hear that you too are having a nice time with your grandparents and your cousin. I did not know that you have a lizard now but I am happy to hear that Ivy was well behaved while she was over at your place. What kind of lizard do you have and since when? Do you perhaps have a picture of them? I would love to see one!
This reminds me of the picture from the giant squid you once gave to me after I asked you, I still carry it around with me as one of my treasures. I was really happy when you were able to get a good shot of him! Or perhaps the squid is a her, I actually never asked and I don't think anyone has ever been able to check.... Well I am rambling now, but I am glad that we got to speak a little! Things are going well over here but I am sad that summer will only be for one more month. However at the same time I am kinda happy to meet everyone else again as I am missing quite a lot of people. I have met someone over here at the beach so perhaps I will meet with him again but I do not actually know about that yet.

Oh, yes, I actually just got her! Her name is Kahlan and she is a Girdled Lizard. I will include a couple of photos of her for you. I love that you still have the photo of the squid, just remember if anything should happen to it, I can always make you another one.
I think I’ll be happy to come back to Hogwarts, even with all of the crazy things that happen, it’s still a type of home a comfort in some ways to be there. I miss a lot of people too so it will be nice to see you again even though I’ll see you at Jake’s birthday party. I miss Erik too I do worry about him a lot sometimes. You met someone at the beach? Is he like us or no? Tell me more about him!

I will have to start by letting you know that Kahlan is a very pretty lady. I don't think I have seen a girdled lizard before or if I did it must have slipped my mind! She looks quite exotic so perhaps she is in my animal book or something, the one I had gotten for my birthday. You were there, so perhaps you remember? If not that is also alright. It is good to hear that you would have other chances to take a picture of the giant squid but I hope nothing ever happens to the one I already have, because it also is dear to me because it reminds me of how we have met!
I look forward to seeing you at Jake's birthday and I hope that Erik is alright as well. He seems to be okay in my opinion and I am glad you are friends with him. The person I have met here is also a wizard, can you believe it? I wonder what the odds are for people you meet somewhere to also be part of our world... do you ever wonder about that? The boy actually goes to our school as well!

Oh, that’s quite intriguing! Does this mystery person have a name or house? I wonder if I know them. What a small world it is sometimes.
I am pretty excited about Jake’s birthday! I got him some art supplies so that he can continue to practice his gift. Have you seen the work he can do? He’s pretty good for just being basically twelve years old now. If he keeps practicing, I could see him as becoming an enchanted painter or something like that. I remember your birthday, it was a little awkward for me to be there without knowing most people, but I was glad I went anyway.
I’m leaving for England on the 23rd, so I think I might have time to get one more letter from you before I go, and I will be away until the 31st of August, so I won’t be able to write you nearly as often as I can now, but I will try. If I cannot write again, I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer, and I will see you at Jake’s house!

I am not all too sure if I remember his name correctly, but I will be able to point him out to you in the great hall if we meet again! I know that he is part of your house though, or at least I am pretty sure he is part of your house so you might actually know him or at least must have seen him around.
Art supplies sound perfect for Jake, I am sure he will love them! I got him a special kind of plushed animal that I hope he might like. It has a interesting concept to it and is supposed to take away some of his worries and issues. I am not exactly sure how it works, I should read through the instructions again but I hope that it will help him gain a little bit of confidence!
I am sad to hear we won't get to owl more over this break but I look forward to talking in person to you again even more! I am hoping that you will enjoy the rest of your summer as well, stay safe!
