Dear @Bridget Collins,

Hi! So I know that I will be seeing you tomorrow, but I still wanted to send this to you! I feel like it's a bit silly to write you a letter when we could just talk soon, but I feel like I am far more open with pen and paper than face to face, although I am doing my best to change that. Anyway, as I was saying, this letter comes along with a gift! I hope you like it!

So, yes, I know the gift is random and actually has nothing to do with anything that we have talked about. But I figured you would enjoy this book. If you have already read it, sorry, but I figured if you haven't that you would enjoy it. Tell me what you think when you are done. Or, you know, you can just talk to me about it as you read it since we will be together tomorrow.

This letter is really short, but I want to write more so I am going to basically fill up more space by telling you what I have been up to the past two days. So you know that I needed a place to stay for the first bit of the summer, I stayed with two other people. I spent the last bit of July with Professor Karr, you know, the Astronomy Professor, she was really nice. Then I spent the first bit of August in Italy with Adonis. I don't know if you know him, but it was really fun there too. I have to admit (don't tell anyone) that you are the one person I have been looking forward to spending time with.

Anyway, I went on a tangent, but I want to talk about the last two days. I spent the time in the Leaky Cauldron. It was really nice to be around magic and people that I sort of recognized. On my way to my room I realized that I forgot Boomerang, my kitten, not sure if you have met him. But still I was so scared... he found me though! Somehow. Then I went shopping for stuff... I have actual clothes now! So you don't have to lend me clothes anymore.

Well, I am running out of ideas to talk about again and Boomerang is begging me to feed him so I will wrap up here! See you tomorrow!
