Dear Flash,
I realize it’s been a while since we’ve last talked – I apologize for not reaching out to you sooner, setting something up in which the two of us could chat, or play piano, or participate in something of that likeness. How have you been faring? What are you up to nowadays?
I really want to get to know you more. You seem to be a real nice guy, the sort of acquaintance in which one finds great pleasure in the company of – it’s not often that I find someone with such a lovely voice, or kindly mannerisms such as your own. Though we’ve only met up a handful of instances, I find myself comfortable in your presence, as if I don’t have to feel ashamed of who I am, or my love for the piano and singing.
If you aren’t already going to the ball with someone, would you, I don’t know, go with me? I suppose it would give us the chance to talk more – and, if I’m brutally honest, it would hurt to see you dancing with someone else.
