Are you ok? The letter I left before's gone, but I haven't found an answer... I hope you're alright.
Hope no-one else took it. It would be hard to get letters to three people in secret, and I doubt you want most of the stuff in these letters getting out.
I won't say more here, in case someone has been reading these letters. But I doubt anyone would find them, this is a secure hiding spot.

Hey,

Sorry it's been so long. I just-I just haven't really been up to writing I suppose. School has been fine I guess, but I've just been busy and tired and lonely. I kept meaning to reply but, I couldn't find the ideas or the words. I'm sorry, I hope I haven't been worrying you or anything.

My brother was accepted quickly into his grade. The mischievous one, already getting himself into trouble. You know, I should be happy for him. But instead I'm just jealous. But he knew I was alive, I didn't know he was alive. It's like our parents death meant nothing to him.

I'm sorry, I shouldn't be saying this.

I can tell you for almost certain that your parents' death would have meant something to him. They were his parents as well! Even if he didn't talk to them much or something, he'll still have felt their absence in some way, I bet he will. Merlin, I have no idea what to say to this.... I hope you're okay.

Rose Katrina, you can say what you like in these letters. I won't judge. I think I have a lot of empathy... I hope anyway haha... so hopefully I can understand what you're feeling. I think.

On a happier note, have you heard about the Autumn Ball? Are you going? Oooh, you should ask the boy you crush on if you are, I bet he'd love to go if he's still the same as last year.
I'll probably go, but by myself or with friends haha. I'm a huge romantic to be honest, but I've never actually dated anyone before.

Man. I messed this up too. I had one job. Only one. And I failed it. I'm failing everyone aren't I? Yeah, my name. I won't say it again unless you, I don't know forget it and lose my letter. My letter with my name on it. Ugh.

He couldn't tell me. Had no way to. But he knew, he had been taken in by a foster family, but he knew I was at school. So I, I had to live thinking he was dead. But he wasn't.

I shouldn't be saying any of this though. What... what do I do? I don't know anymore.

I guess your brother's more sensible than me haha.

Rose, I should just make a bunch of cards which say 'you can say what you like, I won't judge' and stick one in each envelope. It'd save time haha. That's the whole point of this anonymous thing - you say what you like, I say what I like, and poof, we never know who it is so we can't do anything about it. Yay, free diary! Although I guess it's a little different for you now, if you dom't quite trust me yet.
And this probably isn't the best thing to say but... I don't know either. Other than 'make it up to your brother and enjoy the fact that he's alive', which I seriously doubt would help, I have no idea. Way to go, Lu River.

You haven't seen him? You should try! Set up a date or something via owl, if you want to. Or just ask to talk to him in the library, it's really quiet and awesome in there.

Sorry, I wrote that last letter in a pretty bad time. That was right after someone had threatened my brother with an Unforgivable Curse. I-- uh-- may have been punched for stepping in an shoved the threaten person. We really don't have a good past. But um, yeah, I wasn't in a good mood and was spiraling.

But today, I am feeling a bit better. His family was muggle. Now we are both with different guardians. One's a wizard and the other's a Squib. So now we all talk (via owl of course). Anyway, enough about me.

Well, almost done. I really don't trust anyone. And I've been burned enough times that I'm too afraid to put too much in any letter because I don't know if Hackasplat or Beck-- OOPS. Dang it. Names. I keep forgetting this is all supposed to be anonymous. I do nickname my enemies but we'll save that for another letter, shall we?

But yeah. I just realized how much I am just writing down everything that is wrong with me. What about you? Are you doing alright? Anything bothering you? I feel bad that I just spew out everything that's wrong and then shy away from your advice.

Oh and the balls. I don't have good hopes. But on a good note, guess who invited me? The boy! SO yeah, feel free to 'fangirl' or 'ship' or whatever the term is.

I'm doing pretty great, actually! Thanks! My sister - ugh, can't remember the name I gave her so I'll call her Beauty or something, after Sleeping Beauty, cause she's so 'out of' the social side of things she might as well just be asleep. (And Ebo our mother thinks I'm the one who needs to socialise more.) Anyway, Beauty got Ravenclaw just like she wanted, so I'm pretty proud of her. What did your brother get?

Oooh, congrats! I hope you have a great time! Which bit are you going to? I'll probably be at the masq mostly, but the costume party sounds pretty good too. It's sort of a family tradition for us to carve pumpkins at Halloween, ever since my youngest sister saw one of the muggles doing one and pestered our mother until she finally caved in and let us do it. It's pretty fun, turns out, if a little discusting.

Oh... I can't learn those. Guess you might as well know, I'm in Second so I can't learn all that stuff yet. Ah well.

Oh, and guess what? I made it onto my house's duelling team! I wasn't planning on joining to start with (Merlin knows I'm not the sort of person who hexes other people for fun) but two of my close friends joined so I'm gonna give it a try. Wish me luck!

Yeah, I guess I sort of failed the whole anonymous thing. It is certainly making me curious to who you are. I mean, you know my name, and my house, and probably my year, and since you recognized my teal streak, you know what I look like. Are you a friend of mine? Perhaps an enemy? Would I recognize you if we met in person? It might be fun to continue being this way. You'd get to know me pretty well. Besides, I am a whole lot more reserved and awkward, and overanalyzing in person.

Yeah, I'm fine. At least I think I am. AB isn't someone to mess with. I'm just glad you aren't her. Or like her best friend or something. The last thing I'd want to do is lose my semianonymous confidant. We do sort of have a bad past together. But still, threatening my brother is a bit extreme. I made a promise to my friend not to go looking for AB again, but I just hope I can keep that promise.

Oh and the burned comment was like... a figure of speech. Like, I've had my trust broken too many times. Rumors and all that lot. But yeah, I keep hearing things about Hufflepuffs and a fire or something? I hate that I am so behind on things! What happened? Do you know? There's just so many bad things happening. They've happened to like every other common room but mine. I have this feeling that our luck might be running out soon.

I will probably hang around the masquerade area... although, I couldn't find a good mask, so I might switch between the areas some.

Oh nice! I got on mine too! Dueling team I mean. Hopefully, we won't have to go against each other. Well, I wouldn't know it was you. I also think its a bit uncomfortable to have a peer at the end of my wand, but I guess we all need the practice. Ack, I should keep my doom and gloom to myself.

My brother... lets call him... Simba (haha get it, Lion King the muggle movie) got Gryff too. Which is good so I can keep tabs on him better. Make sure he stays out of trouble. From what I hear, he's been getting into quite a bit of mischief. I worry about him a bit.

Ooh, the ball! I've got a lovely dress and a matching mask, and one of the third-years said she'd do my hair for me. I can't wait! I'm probably going to be in the masquerade bit too - I can't get my dress dirty, Eb my mother'll kill me. Metaphorically.

Hey! I was super busy all week and haven't had the time to write, sorry about that. But it is right after the ball now so I guess I have time. Well, like it's midnight, so I should be sleeping but I'm finding it really hard.

I don't even know what happened at the ball. One minute, I'm with the boy and my best friend and the next minute I'm being dragged out because Simba is missing. We had to search all over to find him and it ends up he had just left the ball early. Gosh, I was so afraid for him. I can't imagine what could have happened. I heard rumors about dolls and all sorts of crazy things, but I managed to get out unscathed. Even though I'd have rathered protect people.

Anyway, I hope you are safe and I just wanted to reach out again. I should try to sleep again. Or at least sit in my bed.
