A Revengeful 'Adventure'

Lucia already had cold feet about this, and nothing had even happened yet.
"Are you - are you sure about this?" she whispered to Lavinia, who was the organiser of this whole sorry ordeal. "I really don't know if-" What was she even trying to say? She didn't know if what? "-if this is a good idea?" The tone of her voice seemed to turn what should be a statement into a question.
It was just after half past nine in the evening, and Lucia was definitely wishing she could just go back to her nice warm bed in her dorm room. The dungeons were freezing cold, especially in pyjamas, although Lucia had thrown a jumper on over the top of them, and Lucia had learned on her way down from the first floor that Hogwarts castle was terrifying at night, with its medieval architecture and moving staircases and paintings. It was almost definitely the eeriest thing Lucia had ever seen.
However, she might not have seen it at all if it hadn't been for Lavinia Cloven. When Lucia had mistakenly sprayed the older Ravenclaw with dirt during an errand a few days ago, she had been all too willing to agree to owe her a favour as an apology. But she hadn't expected that it would lead to this! She'd recieved a rather cryptic note from Lavinia that morning via owl, saying that she was calling in her favour and telling Lucia to meet her in the dungeons at half past nine pm. P. M. Being out here was breaking at least two school rules - students weren't even allowed to leave their dorms at half past nine!
"What are we even-" Lucia shivered again. "-doing here?"
It had taken the entirety of the day for Lucia to make up her mind about whether or not to show up, and she was still second-guessing her choice even now. What in Merlin's name did Lavinia want to do in the dungeonsat half past nine at night?! It made no sense. Also, this was breaking school rules. Ebony would kill her if she found out! But Lucia's honour prevented her from just staying in the common rooms - that, and her fear that, if she did, Lavinia would... Lucia didn't even know. Beat her up? She looked strong. Make everyone hate her? Was she that popular? Either way, this entire situation sucked.

nico and koko, would you mind waiting for me and lavinia to each post twice before posting? so that it sets the scene more. (this would count as my first post.) thank you!
also, to staff: we understand that there's a chance of detention for this and are in fact planning to get detention for it, hence nico and koko, who will be dealing out punishment as they see fit haha ]

A Revengeful 'Adventure'

Lavinia was somewhat ready for her revenge. She was going to finally get revenge for losing quidditch against the Slytherins. The last game had been one of the worst for Lavinia, all she did was a penalty lap and by the time she went around the field, the game was over. It desperately hurt to lose every single game during the season and not score a single point for the whole year. It was more than a month after that last game and Lavinia had the perfect opportunity to take revenge on the Slytherins.
A few days ago she had been trying to help the school out by shoveling dirt and wound up getting covered in dirt by a certain student. Due to letting her emotions control her, Lavinia wound up getting a favor from Lucia. Immediately, she knew what it had to be. This would be killing 2 birds with one stone. She would get revenge on the Slytherins and Lucia.
Having just a few days to plan it before the end of the school year, Lavinia got work. It wasn’t the best prank in history but it would have to do. For some reason, she had brought a fanged frisbee and ever-bashing boomerang to school this year and they would be perfect for the prank. After sending an owl to Lucia to meet her after curfew in the dungeons, everything was set up.
Lavinia was still in the clothes that she put on after classes as she headed out of her tower with the 2 items in hand. Finding Lucia pretty easy and Lavinia was glad that the girl had decided to show up. Walking over to Lucia, Lavinia listened as she was whispered to. Almost wanting to laugh, Lavinia responded quietly, “Of course I’m sure, it’ll work out just fine.” In honesty though, she knew it probably wouldn’t work out for them, the plan was not foolproof and they were breaking a school rule.
Thinking a little bit more about her plan, Lavinia realized how dumb it was. She almost wanted to chicken out of it until she remembered that this was her favor from Lucia and she needed to use it. “We are here to prank the Slytherins. I have brought these to items-” she said holding up her Fanged frisbee and ever-bashing boomerang. “-to make it more fun. The plan is to head over to the entrance to their common room and bang these against the walls unless you have a better idea on how to do it.” she said leaving the floor open to any suggestions.

sorry for the late reply!Lucia ran a hand through her hair, way more nervous than Lavinia appeared to be. How was she so calm?! Did she not realise just how many rules they were breaking right now? Ebony was going to kill her! If she ever found out. Lucia suddenly realised that she didn't actually have to tell her. The idea brought even more guilt rushing through her bones. It wasn't a pleasant sensation. "W- why?" she asked, shivering. It was cold, down here in the dungeons. Lucia wished she'd just stayed in her bed - but then she'd have felt guilty for not keeping her ill-made promise, not to mention the fact that Lavinia might then decide to enact revenge on her. Lucia lost either way. "Do you just not like Slytherins? I- I have a friend who's a Slytherin! They're not bad, you know?" She looked up at Lavinia, hoping against hope that she would see this reasoning and turn around. Then they could both go back to sleep and pretend nothing had happened.
For a moment, Lucia wondered if this was usually the sort of thing that pranks entailed. She's imagined the idea of pranking to be more glamourous than just throwing a fanged frisbee at someone. Not to mention that it was cold. Had she mentioned that already? It was cold. Lucia pitied the Slytherins, who had to live down here without the warmth from the kitchen near to the entrance to their common room. They probably had heating inside, though. They did in Hufflepuff. "I- not really," she admitted. Lucia wasn't really cut out for this, was she? "Um." Gingerly, she took the ever-bashing boomerang which Lavinia was holding out, and held it as though it was a pair of old, stinky, socks. Then she nervously tilted her head towards the fanged frisbee. "Aren't they against the school rules?" she asked weakly. Just another wrongdoing to add to tonight's list.
