Permission to godmod @Katrina WalkerOctober 8, 2019, 5:32 P.M.Thora slowly sat up, enveloped in a white fluffy cloud of sheets. What was she doing here? Why was she here? There had to be a reason why the girl was in the Hospital Wing for the fourth time in the past six months. A dull pain in the back of her head was her only clue as to why she was here.
Thora glanced around the painfully bright room, trying to find someone that could explain to her what exactly had happened in the library. And then she saw her. A girl with her head in her hands. Katrina. And everything came rushing back.
I barely registered the throbbing pain piercing my skull and the hands supporting me as I stumbled to the Hospital Wing through a haze of pain. The hallways seemed even more tortuous than normal, winding in long paths that led to the healing of the Hospital Wing. Even though I felt like I was about to fall, I pushed on still, not wanting to know what would happen if I collapsed on the floor.
As I stumbled up the stairs, they seemed to actually bring me where I wanted to go, unlike normal. The next few minutes were a blur as I fell onto a bed. And then everything went dark.Well, at least the girl didn't have memory loss. That much was for certain as the vivid memories came rushing back. Katrina Walker, the Gryffindor who decided to duel Thora in the library. The Slytherin was just looking for a book on Pixies--where was that book anyways?--to finish her Defense of the Dark Arts homework. Speaking of which, she actually still needed that book, but of course her whole day would be delayed by this wonderful detour.
Even though the snake's head was spinning out of control, she struggled into a sitting position and turned towards Katrina. "Why'd you use the knockback jinx on me?" she accused the Gryffindor. As far as she was concerned, the other girl had no reason whatsoever to use such a spell on her. In fact, it was breaking many of the rules in the school.

Accidents and Anger
@Thora LarkstonKatrina sat on the edge of tears. What had she done? She was just in the library when she heard something. She freaked out and ended up casting Fumos. The opponent- whom she had not known was Thora- cast the dancing spell on her. Katrina did the first thing that came to her mind and cast Flipendo back at her. It was only until after that that she realized it was Thora.
Thora rustled in the bed and sat up. An expression of anger plastered about her face, "Why'd you use the knockback jinx on me?" Katrina felt so bad, she didn't mean to hurt her. Katrina had rushed Thora up here as fast as she could praying that Thora wouldn't collapse. The race to the Hospital Wing had seemed so much longer than usual.
Katrina's mind raced with worries, questions, and regret. "I-I'm so sorry. I freaked out. It was the f-first thing I could think of. I didn't m-mean to hurt you." Katrina stuttered. She felt tears returning to her eyes, luckily they didn't fall down her face. "If I had known it was you I wouldn't done anything." Katrina felt so overwhelmed with guilt. Thora hadn't even cast a spell that could hurt Katrina.
She buried her head in her hands again. "I'm so sorry." The apology was lost behind her hands. She wiped at the single tear that fell. She allowed herself to look up at Thora and make eye-contact for the first time since she hit her. Thora's face was still a resemblance of anger. Thora will never forgive me. What could I ever do to tell her I didn't mean it? I wish I could do something to show that I cared. Katrina rummaged through her satchel, she had nothing to help Thora feel any better. Lat time she was here, Charolet Cadunt gave her cookies. Katrina had nothing of the sort.
Katrina felt so bad. Would Thora ever forgive her?

Accidents and Anger
@Katrina WalkerThora glared at Katrina as the lion stuttered out a desperate apology. The girl bit her lip as she tried to hold back a sarcastic snort. Sure, maybe it was an accident, but seriously, people need to have self control. Now, Thora wasn't some ungrateful brat that loved having enemies, but never in a million years would she have imagined Katrina trying to hurt her. Even if it was an accident, now the second year was stuck in the Hospital Wing, practically concussed. She had homework to get to. Thank goodness there was something called magic.
As the Gryffindor rummaged in her satchel, the nurse came back over. What was that girl doing anyways? Trying to find her wand? Thora turned away grumpily as the nurse inspected her. Hopefully she had already cast Episkey, but there were some things magic just couldn't fix. A dull pain still throbbed behind the Slytherin's skull, threatening to black out her vision. Why couldn't Katrina just go away already? She had already caused enough damage.
"Um, excuse me?" Thora called out to the nurse, cringing at the crack in her voice, "How long do I have to stay here?" On one hand, she needed to get out of here fast. On the other, she didn't want to randomly black out in the middle of the castle and get trampled on.

Accidents and Anger
Katrina felt even more horrible when Thora asked how long she had to stay. The lion didn't want to leave because it would seem like she didn't care. But it was obvious Thora didn't want her there. Her guilt overpowered her, it created a large lump in her stomach that made her wish she didn't even exist.
She was so lonely here, she had no friends. After more than a year you would figure she had at least one friend. Katrina was ready to accept friends, she even seemed desperate lately. The brown haired girl was ready to be friends with Thora for a long time, but she felt that feeling was not mutual.
Another wave of overwhelming guilt washed over her. She had messed up so badly. She just wanted friends, she missed her brother and her two muggle friends.
"I r-really am sorry." Katrina stuttered, "I understand if you want me to leave." She couldn't help but put a depressed look on her face. She tried to lighten her look to no avail. Katrina sat her satchel down as she heard a voice from behind her.
Sweety, you should take it easy." the nurse spoke with a soft but sure voice, it was very grandmotherly, "But, if you must- then you may leave."
Katrina looked expectantly to see what Thora would do.

Accidents and Anger
@Katrina Walker"Sure, you can leave, I don't care," Thora mumbled grumpily as she reached for her satchel. Honestly, though, she kind of had to stay. Although the last thing she wanted was to be cooped up here again, the redhead would hate collapsing randomly from a head injury. "I guess I'll just do my work here."
"Oh, no, no, dear, you need to make sure you're okay. I'm sure the homework can wait." the elderly but spry nurse's voice echoed again throughout the room. Sure. No way the professors would allow late homework because she had gotten hurt. If she had been hit by Flipendo, sure that would be a different story, but however much Thora hated Katrina right now, she was not a rotten snitch.
"Okay..." Thora dragged out the word. "Can you check on my head, again, then? I want to leave soon."
"No problem, sweetie," the nurse responded as she bustled back over with several vials and her wand. She looked almost formidable, like someone in their natural habitat ready to strike. Thora closed her eyes as the nurse poked at her head, lighting her wand and peering into her eyes. Well, that's creepy... Half of the reason the Slytherin was squeezing her eyes shut was so that she wouldn't have to meet Katrina's eyes. As far as she was concerned, the Gryffindor could do whatever she wanted. It wasn't like Thora cared any more.
Finally, with a quick cast of Episkey, the nurse patted her on the back. "Okay, you should be good to go!" she pronounced as she handed Thora a Chocolate Frog. Grinning, the snek thanked her and picked up her satchel. She eyed Katrina out of the corner of her eye. Was she going to do something? Honestly, she had to be more careful wandering around by herself in this magical castle.

Accidents and Anger
@Thora Larkston
Katrina missed it when someone looked at her with a kind expression instead of an expression of anger or confusion. It stung slightly when Thora seemed to dismiss her without a second thought. She stood silently, waiting for an opportunity to say something.
Katrina's breath caught in her throat. What would happen if Thora said something? She would obviously say something, because she would be excused of the assignment. Katrina felt so bad, the guilt settling heavily in her stomach. Her guilt caused her to feel worse then she already did somehow. If she told a teacher, she would be blamed. So many detentions loomed in her future.
Katrina glanced wistfully as the nurse handed Thora the Chocolate Frog. If only she had had a Frog to give Thora, that would have been so much better. Thora gave her an expectant gaze, one that said, "Why aren't you gone already?" Katrina tried to return the gaze with a genuine "i'm sorry". If only there was a better word she could have used.
The lion spoke, "I really am sorry. I-I guess I will go, if you need me just say something?" Katrina gathered her belongings and held back tears. She slowly crept out of the room, hopefully she hadn't done anything to make anything worse.
Katrina tentatively exits thread.

Accidents and Anger
@Katrina WalkerThora looked on as Katrina left the room with a depressed look. Okay, now she felt slightly embarrassed, but couldn't the other girl do better than apologize and run away? Thora knew she would probably regret this later, but the other girl was obviously not her friend right now. Sticking the Chocolate Frog into a hidden pocket for a snack later, she gathered her bag, making sure her books and parchments were still intact. Thankfully she retained her wand through the mad attack, as she spied it placed on a table next to her.
"Thanks," she called to the nurse. Honestly, she was grateful that this school had a Hospital Wing. At her Muggle school, no one really cared enough. She walked out of the room, careful to not do something reckless that could hurt herself again. She made her way down the now darkened hallways and stepped onto a staircase. Hopefully it would take her down to the main floor, as she needed to head to the library to retrieve her quill. Who knows what else she had dropped there in the aisle... Hopefully nothing important that someone else picked up. Then she needed to finish her homework... Finally do something productive. She did feel kind of bad for dismissing Katrina, but didn't she bring this on herself? Trying to shrug the guilt off her shoulders, Thora turned away, making her way down the stairs.@Thora Larkston leaves thread (unless she needs to be stopped)
