Venomous Aftermath...
Tantacu-What!
PV: Jade Murphy
Donny was helped by Jade into a soft bed in the hospital wing. His legs were streaked with deep cuts, and bruises, all the aftermath from his and Jades encounter with the Venomous Tentacula. He lay there, Jade also being helped by the madam into the bed right next to his. There was an awkward moments silence before The madam intercepted, "Oh, dear, dear-look what we have here..." she said, tutting her teeth with disappointment. She lifted Donny's leg, and perched it up under some extra blankets. She examined his injuries, looking deeply into his cuts. "What exactly happened" she asked, pulling some thorns out of his legs painfully. "Ouch! We... Uh, I, snuck into the greenhouses and..." he trailed off, looking towards Jade hopelessly.
The madam rubbed some cream over his and jades cuts, instantly making his legs feel numb, and weak. "Well, you might not have had this happen to you if- well, you hadn't been naive," she said obviously. He sighed as he thought for a smart remark, but there really wasn't one in this situation. He rubbed his head, it had been throbbing oddly since the trip from the greenhouse to here...

Venomous Aftermath...
"It wasn't his fault, one of the pots was broken and the door was open. He was merely curious as to what plants were in the greenhouse. In fact if it weren't for him I'd probably be dead" Jade said. What she said was true, though she had left some out of it. She didn't know why she was defending him, it was just in her nature.
"Miss, how long do you think I'll be in here? I'd like to notify Mrs Davis to the broken pot so she doesn't get hurt by any others when she goes in the greenhouses" Jade realised that doing this would notify Mrs Davis to her being in the greenhouse. But so long as she left the boy out of it it would be worth it to insure Mrs Davis's safety. "You'll be here till I say you can go" The nurse replied, she was obviously not happy with either of them.
Jade turned to the boy next on the bed next to her "I still don't have your name, it might be useful as we're in the same house and will therefore be seeing quite a bit of each other." Jade said. Jade decided that she would now stop being surprised by the way she was meeting students. Twice she had now met someone by nearly dying.

Venomous Aftermath...
Donny blushed, his once pale sweating face was now a rosy red. "Well, considering the circumstances... my name is Donnovan, or people call me Donny!" he replied, trying to be a little light in the darkness. He smiled at Jade and mouthed the words 'Thank you' to her in appreciation. This had been his first time meeting someone under such circumstances, but he at least made a somewhat friend. The madam sponged his legs and began to wrap them up tightly, keeping them perched atop the blankets comfortably. "Need to get to charms class, but that doesn't seem like a possibility today." he said, sighing dreadfully, he did quite like charms. After all, he had learned he the spell that saved the both of them last week in charms, and he hated thinking about what he might miss.
The sun finally got lower, lower until there was just the light of the candles illuminating him and Jade. "So... what's your hobby?" he asked her, trying to stay awake in case he got let off. He knew he just liked to read, or mostly play Qudditch in his free time. He seemed to ask this question to everyone he met, but it was something that would be nice to know in the meantime...

Venomous Aftermath...
"Trying to stay awake? Well me too, as for your question theres reading, studying nature and music, I also like to climb to high places. What about you?" Jade replied turning to Donnovan, Jade knew people called him Donny but Jade decided that thinking of him as Donnovan would be helpful. She always found it best to get used to a persons full name before their nickname.
Jade was now lying down as it was getting late and Jade didn't think she'd be allowed to go back to her dorm even if she fully recovered soon. Jade tied to roll over but moving her legs hurt to much so instead she tried to sit up a bit. after all, Jade was always in the mood for talking, her parents called her a chatterbox for a reason.
Jade turned back to the wall and closed her eyes, the last time she had hurt her legs this bad was almost a year ago. She still remembered laying in her bed as one of the other witches in her town, Kathryn had healed her. She had always liked Kathryn, she had been training to be a medic so she had always been the one to heal Jade. At least she had lived in Ireland, Jade missed Ireland. The kids there had been nice and hadn't teased her like the kids in England.

Venomous Aftermath...
Donny didn't need to think too much about what his favorite things to do were. "Oh... just reading about Quidditch, watching Quidditch, playing Quidditch... pretty much all things Quidditch!" he said, laughing softly and painfully. "I love the Chudley cannons, pretty much everybody who knows me knows that!" he, slipping up towards his pillow, attempting to sit up. "But I also love to explore!" he said in a dreamy sort of tone. He knew that most of the time he went exploring, he got into situations like these, but what more could the first year do? He thought nothing. "Do you like exploring? You know, besides today!" he laughed, turning painfully towards her.
He couldn't bear to be held in this hospital bed for a long time, he needed to be up and doing something. He dreaded every second there was silence, and he was just praying that it would soon be over, but for now, he quite enjoyed talking with Jade. It never hurt to socialize a little, and maybe make a friend again! He beamed as the girl began to answer, glad he and Jade were on a friendly level, unlike most of the kids at this school.

Venomous Aftermath...
Jade was pulled back from her thoughts by Donnovan's response. He too had sat up a bit so now they were both at the same level. Jade let out a giggle "I hardly do anything but exlopre, though I tend to stop at nice places to read or listen to music." Jade replied smiling brightly still laughing a little.
"What about you? Do you normally like to go into dangerous buildings? Or was that just today?" Jade asked with a smirk. She quite liked Donnov- Donny, he was funny and seemed nice. Jade wondered how their exchange would have gone if they had met priror to this in the common room.
Was Donny normally a trouble-maker or had he just been exploring, had the door to the greenhouse been unlocked, or had he snuck in? As these questions flew through Jade's head she looked back over to Donny. She had never gotten a good look at him. He was English form his accent, Jade wondered if she had managed to hide hers. As Jade looked at him, noting his brown eyes and dark hair, her gaze fell on his legs, they were bandaged up and propped on pillows. Jade wished she had gotten there sooner so she could have prevented the injuries, but there was no point thinking that way.
Jade hoped she and Donny could be friends, she wasn't sure if she had any yet, she had met quite a few people but only a few of them seemed to be friendly. She kinda hoped Donny was a trouble maker, they tended to be the funnest people to be around. Or at least they were in Jade's experience.

Venomous Aftermath...
Donny smiled, and looked around thinking for a good response that didn't make him seem like a total bad guy. "Er... not that much trouble, but I do love to venture out most of the time!" he said, smirking in response. He was thinking hard of everything he could have said. Like mentioning the fact that just a few days ago he had almost been drowned by a giant squid. But that seemed to extravagant for the time they were spending. He didn't want to seem too much like an adrenaline junky, besides the fact that he had had a few encounters where it might have seemed as though he was.
"But... I like making friends more than trouble!" he said, blushing. He hadn't had many friends in muggle school. The kids in who many were scared of him because of... well, incidents he couldn't control. He fiddled with his fingers, he legs now completely numb and asleep. He looked at the girls shaded hair. It was a sort of bleach blonde mix, with a creamy hint of pink for some reason, but it was cool. She also had nice pale skin and reddish, pink eyes that he continued to gaze into interestingly...

Venomous Aftermath...
Jade let out a happy sigh "ya know theres nothing wrong with a little trouble, though I do have to agree with you, friendship is very important. So what Quidditch team do you go for?" Jade asked remembering him saying he loved Quidditch. Jade had always loved high places, she would always find the tallest tree in a forest to climb. But her parents had never let her on a broom despite them both having been on their houses Quidditch team.
Jade wasn't even sure if she had a favorite team, she supposed she was tied between The Falmouth Falcons and The Ballycastle Bats. As Jade sat there she went through all the games she had seen, she had always loved to imagine flying. She couldn't wait to have her first flying lesson. That was assuming it wasn't a disaster.
Jade wondered if Donny liked to ride brooms, and what team was his favortie, what ifhe liked the opposing teams to Jade's favorite? Well at least they'd have something to talk about, even if it was fighting over which team was best. Jade looked at the clock, it was getting late, but Jade didn't think that would stop them, so long as the nurse didn't stop them. Venomous Aftermath...
Donny thought he'd already explained his Quidditch team and liking's with her, but he was also known for getting quite caught up in his speech sometimes. "I love the Chudley Cannons!" he said, pulling a shiny CC badge from his pocket. He'd bought it the other day in Quality Quidditch Supplies. "Do you fancy a team in particular?" he asked her, looking up at her as he spoke. She didn't look like the kind that would fancy Quidditch, but one never knew! He'd known he'd loved Quidditch ever since he was two, when he got his first broom. It was from his dad-his dad was in Azkaban prison. He snapped quickly out of his thoughts, awaiting a good response. He was quite interested in hearing her opinion, she was after all- his friend.
"Oh, and before you answer, I am pretty knowledgeable in flying!" he exclaimed, once more pointing at his CC badge. Venomous Aftermath...
Jade listened intently to Donny as he replied. Jade was eager to hear his oppinion. "Nice choice, I'm tied between The Falmouth Falcons and The Ballycastle Bats, though I'm not that knowledgeable in flying, I do know quite a lot about The Ballycastle Bats as their quite popular in Ireland. I like The Falmouth Falcons just as much though, they are really fun to watch, though I don't know much of their team." Jade replied.
"Have you ever ridden a broom? I've always wanted to but my parents wouldn't let me..." Jade asked excitedly. She really wanted to know what it was like to fly, not to mention she was interested in Donny's experience. Jade was sure they were going to be good friends, if not best friends. though, if he got her in more trouble than Jade already got in then, well, Jade might actually end up in detention. She was glad Professor Bonet had let her off with a warning when she had caused the last disaster.
