Stumbling into the Hospital Wing wheezing slightly, Ami gently set Eri down on one of the beds, and looked around for the Matron. She knew that she'd left the poor Gryffindor announcer back down by the pitch, but surely someone else would bring him up here. Waving to the Matron, she called, "Hey! Miss! My friend fell off her broom, do you think she'll be alright?" She finished off the last part anxiously, rubbing the back of her neck.

The Matron examined Eri gingerly, with a small frown on her face. "You kids and your Quidditch. I'll have her patched up in no time, don't you worry, dear." Glancing at Ami, she started, her eyes wide, and said, "You need some rest, too. You look like a zombie, with all those bruises on ya." Despite Ami's small protests, the Matron sat her down, handing her a pot of bruise cream. "Thin layers, and you'll feel better in an instant," she instructed, wagging a stern finger. "Now don't move, mind you, while I fix up your friend over here. What did you say her name was?" Matron asked, turning back to Eri.

"Eri, Eri Windstone. She was playing Seeker when she fell off her broom," Ami explained, dipping her fingers into the slimy cream with a wince. Matron nodded wisely, and started fussing around with a few vials on a sideboard by the window.

Eri's eyes opened and she gasped. So hard to breathe. Where was she? The last thing she remembered was a feeling of slamming into something then everything went dark. Every bone in her body hurt. She remembered the feeling of air and closing her eyes right before she hit the ground. She  never hated heights, but now she isn't sure how much she likes them. Now she remembered going to fast on her broom and falling to the ground below. The first thing her eyes saw was the white ceiling. Am I dead? She thinks. Then she looked around and saw the matron and  realized where she was. Not the hospital wing. Oh how much I hate hospitals. She thought. How did she get there?

Eri tried to sit up but there was a sickining crunch only she heard and the brunette yelped in pain and laid back down. Everything thing hurt maybe there were some broken ribs. Well she was pretty sure she broke a lot of things. "H-how d-did I g-get here?" She croaked. It was hard to speak and she didn't feel that well either. Hospital's brought bad memories and she just wanted to leave the hospital wing.

"Mariana!" the Matron hollered at someone some distance away. It was met back with rapid-fire Spanish, and a harried-looking woman appeared from seemingly nowhere- indeed, this must be Mariana. "Mariana, watch this girl-" the Matron barked, gesturing to Ami, "While I help this one." Mariana rolled her eyes, and started to help Ami apply the bruise cream over her multiple bruises. While she did that, the Matron turned back to Eri, fussing with the bedsheets, and examining Eri's every limb.

"Are you okay?" Ami asked the beaten Ravenclaw lying on a bed next to hers. "Sheesh- you really took a beating there, didn't ya?" Ami winced as Mariana started to add more bruise cream with more force, but said nothing against it- after all, the nurse probably knew what she was doing, considering she was, you know, a nurse. "I hope our team doesn't lose because I dragged the both of us in here..." she fretted, wringing her hands anxiously. "Gosh, yeah, I should probably get back out there..." Hastily standing up, and uttering some presumably terrible Spanish ("Lo siento, lo siento, yo voy a lejar"), Ami glanced back out at the Quidditch pitch again, watching the tiny figures on brooms fly around.

"Oww, I don't think I am fine. Everything hurts. I'm going to try to go back out there." Eri tries to sit up and winces. It feels like a couple of her ribs were broken but she finally sat up and stayed seating. "I will be fine. What did I land on? Cause I'm still alive. I think." The last comment was a joke. She wasn't fine, but she would be soon. Hopefully she would be fine soon. Her team probablly needed her. She was the seeker after all. "It hurts to breathe." She says trying to save her breathe.

Eri hated hospitals, but this hospital wing wasn't bad. The matron was nice and she trusted her, but she wasn't paying her much attention. "Ami thank you for bringing me here. I thought I would surely die. I am never going that fast on a broom again." Eri looked at the window and watched the people flying on brooms. She needed to get back out there before Charles caught the snitch. She felt bad for falling off her broom and probably let down her team. The other team could win if she didn't get back out there as soon as possible.

"You're staying here," Ami said firmly before the Matron could even open her mouth. "You're hurt, and you're not going to be much help if you go back out there and fall again. Get some rest, first- it's just a pickup game, and the stakes aren't as high as the real Quidditch games," the Hufflepuff argued logically. She didn't want her teammate to get hurt again, considering the look of pain clearly etched into her face.

The Matron gently lifted up Eri's robes, and applied a purple-ish cream on her chest, covering where the ribs would be. "Leave that be, love," she instructed, and stepped away to mix something up in a small vial. Ami shared a skeptical look with Eri, not quite sure just exactly what the Matron was doing. The Matron, however, had easily deduced that Eri had gotten off fairly easily with only bruised ribs, a badly sprained ankle, and broken both her digitus minimus manus and her digitus annularis (or, ring finger and pinky finger) on her right hand. Returning with a navy liquid, the Matron handed the strange potion to Eri, saying, "Drink up. It might taste weird, but it'll help loads with your injuries, dear."

Eri frowned and looked at Ami. "I'm fine. All I broke was some fingers. I'll be fine. I need to get back out there." Eri watched the matron apply something to where her ribs were and watched her leave. The brunette scooted to the side of her bed like she was preparing to stand up. "Yes I know it's a pick up game, but I'm not going to give up just cause I fell a little bit." Eri was making her fall seem like a small trip or nothing more than ten feet. She fell like 80 feet. "I landed on the announcer didn't I? Is he okay? Where is he?" Eri felt a twinge of guilt. Kaegen had pushed the announcer to break her fall. She hoped the announcer was alright. She would also need to thank Kaegen. He could have let her just hit the ground. He was probably just trying to not have someone die and it be his fault, but still she would thank him.

Eri took the potion from the Matron and drank it. It tasted awful. When she finished she handed the empty glass back to the matron. When the matron left Eri attemptempted to stand. Not again with the sprained ankle. Eri walked over to Ami, more of a limp then a walk but other wise she was fine.

"I'm sure the announcer's okay," Ami said, without even thinking about what she was saying. Of course he's not okay, someone landed on him from eighty feet up in the air... She brushed it off, however, continuing with, "Besides, neither of us can go back out there." She expression turned glum, as she admitted, "We both touched the ground- we're out."

It wasn't like the Hufflepuff could do much to help her team, either. After suffering multiple hits and carrying Eri up the stairs to the Hospital Wing, Ami's arms were sore and felt like jelly, although she would never admit it to anyone. Done applying the cream, Mariana retreated from the room, and the Matron took Eri's hand in hers, starting to bandage and set them in splints. "You're not going back out there, dearie," the Matron said in agreement with Ami. "Broken fingers aren't something to scoff at. You're staying off that field for quite awhile, missy." Ami shot Eri a raised eyebrow that half meant, I told you so, and half meant, That sucks. Besides, it was part of the official rules- once a player hit the ground, they couldn't return to the sky and continue playing.

"The seeker can go back. I'm the only seeker so I can go back. At lest I think?" Eri knew a few of the rules and the game wasn't won without a seeker. And team one only had one seeker. So if her thinking she was right she was allowed to go back on the feild. Besides she was fine. "I'm fine. I fell eighty feet and only came out with three broken fingers as my worst injury." She really hoped the announcer was fine. She really had landed on him from eighty feet which would have hurt very much.

Eri stayed standing and walked over to Ami after the Matron put her fingers in splints. Ami was nice. She had landed to help Eri. "You didn't have to land to help me. You know? You could have stayed out there and continued playing. Plus it's just a pick up game. We don't have to feel bad about it. Also if our flying professor saw me I would have probably gotten a lecture about the dangers of flying too fast." Eri told Ami. It was the truth. Ami didn't have to sacrifice her spot playing the game just to help Eri.

There’s no need to. You can rest.” Aurelia said as she walked into the wing. She could hear their voices from the stairwell. It took quite a lot of effort to get to the third floor. The bruises she got from the game were nasty. The Nurses were already tending to their injuries. She was relieved that Eri was alright. The announcer on the other hand, was still knocked out. There were probably only two buses available at the time.

The game has been canceled. Kaegen who was supposed to be the referee, left. I don’t think he is one who likes to announce.” She explained. She sat down beside Ami. The bruises she got were already purple.
The nurse had help put some kind of cream on it she needed some for her back and shoulder too. But she could wait for her turn. The Gryffindor announcer definitely needed more attention. He was used as a human cushion for Eri and the girl had dropped from a height higher than the owlery. The crash might have given him a few broken bones and he most likely would go after Kaegen for causing him to suffer such a fate.

I’m glad both of you are alright. I’m sorry, I should have thought of the dangers before organising the game.” The girl apologised. Her lips pursed together into a thin lin. It was her fault they were in the wing in the first place. She was the one who had called for a quidditch game and now they were in the hospital bed with a knocked out boy and a girl with a few broken fingers not to mention the number of bruises on her body.

Frowning at Eri's insistence that she didn't have to land and help her, Ami responded, saying, "Of course I had to help! Your ribs are bruised, your fingers are broken... why would anyone not help?" While she didn't know it, this is precisely why the Sorting Hat had placed her in Hufflepuff. Ami still quite hadn't learned that some people were selfish, that some people wouldn't care- she only knew to help others and to aid the unfortunate. This, rather clearly, came from the military upbringing she was raised in, although it certainly was a lovely character trait to have at her disposal.

"We should have known the dangers as well," Ami said with a placating smile, tucking her windswept hair behind her ears. She held a lot of respect for the Gryffindor girl, who seemed to be a good person with a kind heart. Really, Ami personally thought she belonged in Hufflepuff... but the Sorting Hat supposedly was always right. Surely, only time would tell. "After all," she continued, "It's Quidditch. There're freaking bludgers trying to knock us off our brooms, for cripes' sake. Don't worry, we'll be fine," she finished in what she hoped was a reassuring tone of voice.
