In Pain
Nell woke up to see herself covered in bright white sheets. Her pale hands and arms were covered in bandages. Her legs were heavily bruised and scraped.
She began to sit up, but sat back back down instantly. She coughed for a good couple of seconds and then groaned. She recalled what happened.
Nell was running around the lake with her “friends,” but then they pushed her in. Nell didn’t just fall into the water though. She managed to spin around and hit every limp.Her “friends” had ran away, leaving her barely alive.
Nell sighed deeply. Her head began to pound heavily, so she took something that looked like ice from beside her and placed it under her head.
Nell’s eyes began to close sleepily. She was quite tired and stressed, so a quick nap might do. Nell ended up sleeping for a good 2 hours, relieving herself temporarily from all the pain and discomfort.
While Nell was asleep someone she didn't know came to check in on her. They sat by her side until she woke up from her deep sleep.
When Nell woke up, she was faced away from the person. She rolled to her other side and almost jumped she she saw someone.

Caitlyn sat on an empty bed, watching Nell laying there. While she didn't know exactly who she was or what happened, she still felt bad for her. Caitlyn was just near the Great Lake, reading a book from the Library, when she heard the splash of someone going underwater. A group of people were walking away, laughing to each other, not even helping the person in the water. After guessing that they had pushed her in, she rushed over to her and got a medical person from the school to have a look at the girl. While her class schedule stopped her from seeing the girl, Caitlyn had rushed over as soon as she could, hoping that she was better. When she had gotten there, the girl was still asleep, so Caitlyn decided to wait until she woke up. Looking at her now, the Ravenclaw seemed only a bit better, which was to be expected, especially considering the temperature of the lake and how many times she had hit some kind of surface. Then, after a while, the girl stirred, before groggily waking up. She turned her back and looked straight at Caitlyn and almost jumped at the sudden sight of her. "Ah, sorry, sorry..." Caitlyn raised her voice as she waved her arms frantically, looking quite stupid in the process. "I just came in to see if you were alright from that, y'know," she paused for a second. "Lake incident." Caitlyn sat there for quite some time, beginning to ponder about what could have happened if she hadn't helped the girl, before coming back into reality. "By the way, I'm Caitlyn. What's yours?" she smiled at the girl, a completely genuine and warm-hearted one.
Just don't give up trying to do what you really want to do.
Where there is love and inspiration, I don't think you can go wrong.

While they listened what Professor Elliott Price said about the Forgetfulness Potion, some girls that seat on the back of the class had their own conversation with hushed voice. "That was epic"The first girl snickered. "Yeah and the splashed sound make it better"The second one giggle. "Eagle can't swim"The third one cackled softly.
Cassie turn around from where they were seated. "What are you talking about? I am sorry I can not help to overheard it"Cassie said to the the girls that sit behind them. Cassie looked to the scarf and any accessories that the three girls wear. It represent Slytherin house. Their house. "Last night, we pushed a girl into the Great Lake"The first one told Cassie.
"A Ravenclaw girl to be precise"The third one clarify. Cassie raised their eyebrow. "For no apparent reason?"Cassie inquire. "Nope! Just for fun. Brilliant, do not you reckon?"The second girl ask Cassie back. Cassie just look at them with pensiveness. They did not agree nor denying the action.
When the class been dismissed, Cassie power walks to the Hospital Wing. Upon arrived at the Hospital Wing, Cassie saw the girl but someone beside her. Cassie dashed towards the Hospital bed where the girl occupy. Their plain black robe swished behind them. The girl stirred and Cassie stands beside the two Ravenclaw girls.
"En nombre de mis compañeros de casa, quiero decir que lo siento por lo que te hicieron"Cassie said to the girls with their thick Cuban accent. "I mean on behalf of my housemates, I am sorry for what they did to you"Cassie translated to the girls. "Are you okay?"Cassie winced at their own question when they saw the stated the girl in.

"Oh, it's alright. My name's Nell," she told the first girl.
"I'm ok. I hope I can get out of here soon enough," she told the other girl.
She sighed. How long was she actually going to be here? She hoped not for long. She wanted to get back to her studies. She also hoped no one would refer to her as "the girl who fell in the lake." That was something she did not want.
She was surprised people actually cared. Nell pulled the sheets up and just lie there. Eventually she reached out and grabbed a cup of water. She drank some of it and placed it back down.
Suddenly she was hit with confusion. How did they know about this lake incident?
"Um, how do you guys know about what happened? I was sure nobody was there," she asked them, confused.
As she waited for their response she took notice of each of their houses. The one who was sitting on the seat when she woke up was a Ravenclaw, whilst the other was a Slytherin.
Both seemed nice enough. Well, they must be if they knew she was here. The thought of how long she would be here stuck on Nell's mind.
