This Is My Fault. (Arceus Powers) Closed

After Arceus was rushed in he didn't really know what was happening, there were a lot of nurses that was sure but he wasn't thinking straight, all he knew was he was coughing a lot his lungs ached every time he breathed in and he couldn't move his arm at all. He heard one of the nurses say "I would give him medicine for that arm of his but he'll just cough it out." He then heard one of them mutter a spell and his arm felt better in an instant, he guessed she either healed it or gave him a spell that makes him feel numb. And after a few more nasty coughs he felt a bit better. Suddenly he started getting sleepy and he found himself in a dark room. With a spot light far away when he went closer he saw Caitlin and she turned and started walking away. "Caitlin!" He screamed "No Caitlin don't leave me.." He started crying, "Please don't leave me again" He shouted while crying and suddenly she exploded into a cloud of smoke and he woke up. He saw nurses staring at him and realized he must have been screaming, he turned around and saw Caitlin staring at him, "Oh.. hey.. how are you" He said before raising his hand and noticing it was bandaged. He smiled even though everywhere hurt. "Well.. Caitlin one Squid zero"

D*mn straight! You think I'm going to let some squid just up and kill my little brother. You got another thing coming! Is what Caitlin wanted to say when she heard Arceus speak but all she could do was cough up more water. "I swear to god if you get on another swing, even if you built it yourself in your own front yard, I'm going to drown you myself. God." She says as she sits up slightly and rubs her chest before standing up and waving off the nurse with a simple, "I'm fine." Caitlin walks to your bed and shoos you over before laying down next to you. "Your hair is soaked and so are your clothes but I do not care." She takes your face in her hands and looks you in the eyes. "Are you okay? And do not even think about lying to me." Her voice was filled with concern for you as she kisses your forehead as tears filled her eyes. "I was so scared. I... I thought you were dead. You were so cold and you wouldn't wake up. This is all my fault. If I had stopped you or did anything at all you wouldn't be hurt."

Arceus saw her coming over to his bed and moved aside so she could sit even though almost everywhere hurt. He grinned at her when she asked if he was ok. "I'm f-..ok I'm terrible everywhere hurts", motions to his arm with his head showing the bandage wrapped around it. "I'm glad you're ok too" He slowly opens his arms. "Hug?" He asks with a smile on his face. He lays down exhausted and looks into her eyes, "But in all seriousness you jumped into that freezing lake for me I appreciate that, if you didn't.. " his voice trails off then he looks at her mischievously "Squidward would have had to eat me and I don't think I taste too good." He coughs up some more water and looks up from the bucket into her eyes "Now in all honesty how are you and you better not say fine this time or I might jump out of bed and make sure you're really not fine" he didn't know what to say but saw her shivering "Hey you look cold come in" he pulls up the blanket with his good hand and puts in over her "That's better I would never forgive myself if you got a cold. Even thought it could be magically fixed"..

Caitlin let out a weak laugh and smiled slightly. "Leave it to you to make this into something funny. But really other than some water in my lungs I have no other injuries. I can't say the same for Squidward. I do not remember what I hit him with but it must have been powerful for him to pull back like he did." She gently ran her hand up your bandage one before hugging you gently. "Of course I jumped into the lake for you. Someone has to make sure you do not get killed by a giant freaking squid!" She laughed as she ruffled your hair and made it messer then normal before getting under the blankets with you. "Thanks, lil bro." She wrapped her arm around his middle and moved closer so they touched. "Mom is going to flip when the headmaster tells her. I don't know how your parents are going to react but she is probably going to come and baby us for a while. She always did want another kid." She hums a soft tune and pulls you close to share body heat. "Get some sleep." She mutters as both of them slowly fall into a deep sleep. "Would you look at that. Their sleeping together. Never in all my years of being a nurse have I ever seen anything like this. Two kids who are not even related acting like they need each other to live." Madam Pomfrey whispered to another nurse as she pulled the curtain around their bed closed.

Arcues remembers feeling sleepy while Caitlin lay next to him and next thing he knew he woke up beside her, he looked out the window and saw that it was the middle of the night. How long have I been sleeping?  He thought to himself and it must have been quite a while since it was midday when he got here. He then felt something touching his stomach and when he looked to his side he saw Caitlin, she was still sleeping and he didn't want to wake her up. "Thank you" he whispered to her and lay back down, except for the occasional cough and his arm being sore he was ok. He looked into Caitlin's eyes and saw how tired she looked, she stirred a bit and slowly opened her eyes. "Hey.." He whispered softly "How are you?" He pushed the hair out of her face with his good arm since his hurt one still couldn't grab things without him being in pain. "We've been sleeping for quite a while" He said and looked out the window behind them, there was a clear view of the lake from there. And he thought he saw a tentacle popping out for a second. "Well I'm never going swimming again" He grinned and lay back down putting his arm around you, "Thank you sis".

Caitlin yawned as she slowly woke up when Arceus slightly touched her skin, she had always been a light sleeper after that... day. "I am fine. Just a bit sore is all." She sat up on her elbow and looked over Archeus to look out the window. "It seems we have. You need your rest." Caitlin slowly laid back down as to not disturb Arceus. "Dang right you are never going swimming. At least not in that lake ever again." She kissed his forehead and wrapped her arm around you as well. "Get some more sleep bro. You need it." Caitlin made sure that Arceus was asleep before she closed her eyes and fell asleep as well.
