Coincidental Colleagues #2 PV - Eliseo Céspedes

Eliseo’s quick comment that he would not grow sick of her did not go unnoticed as the hopeless romantic in her was already pulling strings to the young man even as she quickly tried to dismiss the comment.

Turning on her heels, Zoë nodded to Eliseo as the ever-apparent smile on her face did not dwindle. Exiting the Great Hall, Zoë nonchalantly looked down the hall to her right as she tried to think of the next place she should take him on her tour. Hogwarts was not a school that could fully be covered in a week much less a day but she didn’t want to drag the man along to every single classroom for fear she may lose his interest in her out of sheer boredom.

Seeing a few students pass with books gripped tightly in their hands, Zoë nodded in understanding as she turned to make sure Eliseo was still with her as he appeared right at her side.

“Uh yes well next up I should show you the Library. I’m sure Castelobruxo had a library as well as those come standard in schools but I have so many memories of being in ours and I have several of the best study hideouts in there that I have never let anyone know, well except you, today of course.”

Adjusting the gray beanie on her head, Zoë led Eliseo in through the large doors of the library as the smell of ancient books and ink infiltrated her nose. Letting out a relaxed sigh, the young woman walked softer on her heels to not be the loudest person in the room but fortunately for them the library was mostly desolate due to classes going on at the moment. There were a handful of upperclassmen silently working on essays or reading but mostly the library was theirs to peruse.

Keeping her hand on the door, Zoë eased it closed as the pair walked deeper into the library.

“Tada! Here’s the grand library of Hogwarts. Packed full with books on any topic you could think of--well within reason of course. My mind can come up with some pretty obscure things and I find books on those topics to be sorely lacking.” She whispered.

Signaling for Eliseo to follow her, Zoë picked up her pace as she weaved through the desks and past the bookshelves on a path that she had memorized since her second year at Hogwarts. There were times she snuck into the library at night just to sit in her little hideout and clear her thoughts.

Slowing down a bit for Eliseo to catch up, Zoë gently grabbed his wrist as she briskly walked down the rows of shelves towering above until she made it to the far wall. Pulling out her wand, Zoë gently twirled it as the shelf in front of them gently moved forward.

A giggle escaped her lips as if she was a child causing trouble to her unknowing parents as she let go of Eliseo’s hand sliding behind the shelf. There behind the shelf was a ledge by a window where several books had been left and two pillows had been propped.

Waiting for Eliseo to join her, Zoë looked out the window and then down to the small collection of books that were there. It appears someone had stumbled on her hideout and made it their own but that only made her smile more to realize someone else found solace in this little cavern.
