It has been two weeks since Vivian entered Hogwarts but this is her first time entering the huge library here. She was exploring the school to find out the best place for her to study in the school. She had her book ‘The History of magic’ in hand. She was holding her book with both her hands firmly and was looking at the stand full of books while walking. She never had any interest in books which is not related to her school subjects.
When she was in Manchester living with her mother, looking at other children being so interested in reading books, she would pick a book from her mother’s bookshelf to read but would end up sleeping with her head placed on the book after few minutes. She was never successful in completing a book, but this is not applicable in studies. She herself doesn’t know what made her concentrate more on her studies, her mother had never forced her by saying that she had to get more marks.
She was walking so fast with her eyes focused on her book when she suddenly bumped very hard into a girl. Oh no, the girl had So many books in her hands. Vivian was so embarrassed and was panicky as the girl’s books fell down but Vivian’s book did not fall as she was holding her books firmly in both her hands. Would that girl shout at her? Or would she just not make it a big issue and be friend with her?
“ SORRY” Vivian gasped, which she thought was so loud for Library. She closed her mouth with her hand and looked around to see whether she disturbed everyone there, luckily she didn’t, or maybe she thought she didn’t and thought she was not so loud as she thought before . “ I am so sorry, it was not on purpose” said Vivian in a worried voice and bent down to help her pick the books.

Selina was extremely surprised when a Hufflepuff girl crashed into her. It was very friendly and kind of the girl to help Selina grab her books.
"It's ok" said Selina "thanks for helping me get my books."
Selina was very grateful towards the girl but really needed to do a lot of research, Selina had always been a bookworm. She found an empty seat nearby and wondered if the girl would join her.
She sat down and grabbed her backpack, pulled a History of Magic out which was her most precious book. But a silver, heart shaped locket fell out in the process of bringing a History of Magic out.
She opened it up and inside was a younger Selina and an old man. Selina looked into the man's eyes and started crying silently tears falling into her lap and sat there crying. It took a long time for her to calm herself down.
The picture inside was her great, great grandad that she had met 4 times but he was buried in an abbey but his grave just went in a heartbeat when Selina returned with flowers for the grave.
"Hi." said Selina.
To the girl that had helped her get her books. And Selina wiped her eyes on her sleeve took a deep breath and walked over to the girl.
"I'm Selina," began Selina "I'm in Ravenclaw, who are you?"

Interacting with @Selina Pendrast-KnightIt was a relief that the girl didn’t shout at the blonde, rather she was friendly. Being glad that the girl was not mad at her, Vivian relaxed “I am sorry, I didn’t see you coming”she smiled at her but was guilty inside. It was because of her, the books fell down, she should’ve been more careful while walking. Causing trouble to others is not right, at all. Not everyone is the same if it was someone else and that too...if it was a person from Slytherin, she would have been definitely shouted at, or at least she thought she would have been. Already getting used to this place was tough, now she was pushing people around to get shouted at. The girl went to sit in the place nearby with her books.
The girl was walking towards the blonde. Why? Why is she coming here now? Was she in a good mood then and is back to normal and... wanted to shout at her? But she said she was sorry, didn’t she? Her mind was full of thoughts and worries but her face was expressionless and she was standing without moving a muscle. Hi... hi? She didn’t come back to shout at her? Vivian was relieved. Letting her complete as she was about to say, Vivian started “Hi Selina, I am a first year Hufflepuff... it seemed like you wiped something from your cheeks, did you cry?” why did she ask this to Selina? Making herself more nervous. Selina doesn’t seem to be a rude person, so she wouldn’t shout at her, would she?

"Maybe," said Selina weirdly, as it was weird she had been asked a question like this but she kept her cool.
Selina placed her books on the nearest desk and held her hand out and said:
"Selina Pendrast-Knight, Ravenclaw, 13. And you are?" Selina panted slightly this seemed like and ordinary question to ask someone. Selina wanted to get out of the library as quick as she could because she thought she would draw to much attention to herself with people in the library and the girl standing there.
Selina thought stupidly that she had already introduced herself but did it again, with the Hufflepuff girl.
Just shake my hand and I can go for my run.. she thought impatiently.
The Hufflepuff girl seemed nice but it was time for Selina's run so she was going to be polite and ask the Hufflepuff girl if she wanted to go with her or not.
"I'm going to go for a run now do you want to join me just a few warm ups and a few laps around the great lake?" asked Selina politely smiling at the girl.
Selina pulled her hand away and twiddled with her thumbs.
"If you do want to join me, join me at the great lake in 10 minutes." Selina announced and walked out the library.
