@Lucille Williams
It was one hour before the night lock down and the library was almost empty, however a boy still sat at a table almost surrounded by newspaper. Percy, who had been perched in the same place for a few hours was busy sketching pieces of information from an open newspaper. All of which was about one person, Solomon Lear. His disappearance had been a mystery ever since the masquerade ball from what he heard, and ever since then not a trace him was anywhere, almost as if he had vanished off the face of the earth.

Strange events had been happening since the very day he left, like the spider attack on the Slytherin common room. Luckily, he came out unscathed from the event but others were not so fortunate. Right after the attack was settled, one name kept coming into his head as he sat down to think and that name was Lear's. Their was no way to prove that he was someway connected but it was obvious his sudden leave had opened the floodgates to unnatural events, and who knew if there was more to come.

The papers were only from the date he disappeared up until the most recent edition, and only contained little pieces of information. He took in a deep breath and left his pencil on the page, which was covered in various information gathered from them. Percy knew examining papers wasn't going to get him much closer to making a breakthrough, but it was a start to finding bigger things. His hand slowly went up to his hair to run through it as he looked at the pile of paper next to him, almost sighing to a though he didn't want to think of. It was clear he couldn't do this on his own... going solo would ultimately be fruitless. Although, who could he trust? and who would even think of helping him with this almost impossible task? only time would tell...

Percy put a hand to his book and closed it, before slowly getting to his feet to stretch off his legs. It was getting late and coming to a time where teachers would snatch at the chance of giving him detention. He left his book on the table and grabbed a pile of newspaper, carefully beginning to take them back to the bookshelf where they belonged.

Lucille had barely realized the time when she to look down at her little stop watch in her pocket."Two hours to curfew? How am I supposed to get to the tower and answer a riddle before I get detention?"Lucille asked herself worriedly. As the Ravenclaw began to put away her book into the shelf she noticed another student cleaning up their own area most likely before returning to a cozy common room without the burden of having to answer a fricking riddle."Lucky.."The young witch muttered to herself frustratedly as she began to walk towards the door.In between the mere seconds it took Lucille to begin to walk towards the library's exit, her thoughts seemingly twisted into a tornado inside her head.Making it very easy for Lucille to not realize that she literally bumped into the student from before."Oh god! I'm so sorry!"The young girl said nervously to the student."Of course this had to happen!"Lucille thought to herself as she became even more frustrated.Lucille got back up from the little tumble as she put her hand out to help the boy up, though Lucille wasn't sure he would even take it.At a further inspection she saw the student was wearing emerald green robes."Looks like a Slytherin."Lucille told herself silently."By the way..uhm.. the name is Lucille. Lucille Williams.Do you mind if I ask your name?"The Ravenclaw asked gently to the boy.

Carefully balancing the paper in his arms was a task in itself, especially when it was almost to your face. He grunted slightly as he walked around one of the many giant like book cases and headed towards the news paper section, only for a pesky student to walk in front of him. Due to the paper almost blocking his vision, he wasn't able to react him time and fell backwards to the floor. Almost like a chain reaction, the paper flew upwards into the air and fell on him like confetti, covering his body and face as he groned in frustration.

"For heavens sake..." he grunted to himself as he removed a page from his face, slowly leaning upwards from the layer of paper that covered him. He looked up to the girl and slowly shook his head, slowly dusting off his robes to remove anything that latched onto him when he hit the floor "Oh god! I'm so sorry!" she said in a nervous tone, anxious as to what his reaction would be. To say the least, Percy wasn't impressed by the girls lack of vision as well as her clumsiness "Miss, you really need to open your damn eyes" he replied to her wimpy apology, before denying the hand that extended down to him.

He slowly pushed her hand away and carefully got to his feet, luckily unhurt from the stupidity that just happened. Percy gazed at the floor around him that was now covered in various pieces of news paper, knowing it would be a stretch to clean it all up in time. However, he was a boy that hated to leave a mess, and he wasn't going to clean it up alone "By the way..uhm.. the name is Lucille. Lucille Williams.Do you mind if I ask your name?" questioned the girl, who didn't seem to see the problem at hand "Well Lucille... i'd be happy to tell you my name after you help me clean up YOUR mess" he said over as he looked down to the floor, knowing they only had an hour at most to get this all cleaned up. Even if they did, they'd probably have to sneak back to their dorm unscathed "Do you want a detention thirsty Professor to get you or what?" ended the boy as he knelt down to grab the pieces of paper.

Lucille's first instinct was to burst out some offensive come back to the slytherin boy, but then, the Ravenclaw part of her started to reason and Lucille tried her best to think of something else to say."Look, I really am sorry about that!"Lucille replied to the boy in a panicked tone.As she tried to think of a way to calm down the situation Lucille introduced herself, but of course, that didn't help anyone."I was just trying to loosen up a bit."Lucille said after the boy's response. As she felt her hand be slowly pushed out of the way Lucille couldn't help but feel embarrassed as her cheeks flushed strawberry red.In an attempt to redeem herself, the young eagle began to pick up some of the student's books and papers but as she looked at the papers more she realized the boy was doing a bit of research on Professor Lear himself."Uhm.. Are you researching the H-headmaster? I t-thought he was missing..."The witch asked him quietly."I'm also pretty sure no one would want detention this late in the term."Lucille remarked without so much as a look back at the boy."What was his problem anyway?"The girl asked herself quite confused when it came to the Slytherin's behavior."Did I say anything?"Lucille wondered."Did he just have a really bad day?"She asked herself silently.

The young Slytherin collected a group of papers and stacked them on top of each other, before leaning down to lift them up and put them back on the shelf. They had barely enough time to sort them in the right order again as it came closer to the lockdown, the pair would have to make do and put them in random order for the librarian to sort out later "Look, I really am sorry about that!" she apologised again before making up an excuse of loosening up. Percy slowly shook his head as he knelt down to collect more papers, unamused by her lies "Stop digging a hole for yourself and keep focused"

Most of the papers on the floor had the face of the headmaster all over it, so it wasn't a big surprise when she finally picked on what he was doing "Uhm.. Are you researching the H-headmaster? I t-thought he was missing..." she questioned over to him. Percy shot a look over to her before continuing to pick up the papers "He is missing, and I don't see a problem doing a bit of research" remarked the boy before putting another lump of paper on the shelf. They had very little time now, and there was still pieces of paper to collect "Yes, that's why i'm putting a shift in to not get that stupid detention" he said with a sigh, knowing that they were the only two left in the library.

"Pick up them papers over there and then we can make our leave" he said with a point of his finger to a pile behind her. He knew it was going to be a risky move sneaking back to his dorm at this time, teachers were bound to be paroling at this point "By the way, if you're unlucky enough to get caught on the way back, DO NOT mention me or this event, alright?" he said with a serious look "And if you tell, I will know..."

Lucille could feel her anger bubbling my the second, this boy had no reason to lash out, and yet he still did! "Come on. I said sorry! What else do you want me to do?"She remarked back at him, still wanting to say more although she knew he'd probably just make her even more upset. He's also fluent in sarcasm, yay....Lucille continued to look around or extra papers, resisting the urge to through them at back at the boy. How come he couldn't even answer a question nicely? Was he just physically incapable of being nice? Great, now if Lucille ever got back to the Polaris dorm, her mind would be swirling with stupid questions about this kid. "Do you just assume that I want detention? or are you just dumb enough to call it a fact?"Lucille asked him after slamming the papers back on his table. The Ravenclaw part of her head kept saying to calm down, and try to reason more. Though all those thoughts had become flooded with thoughts of anger, annoyance, and just plain shut-him-up-ness. The boy seemed to continue as though she hadn't said anything, 'don't tell anyone' he said, 'I will know.' he said. Lucille couldn't take it anymore, smoke was practically coming out of her ears, and now her cheeks fumed fire-hydrant red, in other words, she finally snapped."Oh- Excuse me your highness! Have mercy! and don't come kill me in my sleep!"Lucille said in a mockingly whiney tone."Merlin, are you really serious? Am I supposed to be scared?! Your just as bad as those stupid muggle kids from home!" The witch fumed, not even caring that a prefect would probably hear her. She looked back at the boy hopeing this meant defeat,(though what's probably going to happen could be further from the truth) so that the only other thing she'd fall on top of that night would be her bed in Ravenclaw tower.

Almost upon the ending of his warning, the girls face flushed red with frustration and anger as she finally had enough of his constant barrage of words "Oh- Excuse me your highness! Have mercy! and don't come kill me in my sleep!" she said loudly in a mocking tone in the face of the Slytherin. The only thing he could was raise a brow as he calmly placed a few sheets of paper on the table, his attention being snatched by the arrogant girl. Percy slowly folded his arms nonchalantly and squinted his eyes at the comments, choosing to let her finish before saying anything else "Merlin, are you really serious? Am I supposed to be scared?! Your just as bad as those stupid muggle kids from home!"

Being compared to a muggle was one of the biggest insults to say to a pureblood person, especially if they were way above them in every way. However, Percy chose to take it in his stride and ignore the childish insult like a real man instead of showing any weakness to the idiotic Ravenclaw "Is that all you disobedient fool?" he said with an expressionless look, his sharp blue eyes staring into her soul. He slowly took a few steps closer to the girl and smirked slightly, almost looking amused by what she had said so far "Lucille, I want you to hear these words loud and clear. Shut the hell up and know your place, before I give you something worse than death..." he said in a lowered but venomous tone. The worst thing that could possibly happen to her was expulsion, an order that was almost considered a death sentence in a muggle borns eyes.

His eyes gazed over to the right for a few seconds, a hand motioning to the area he was so keen in "That over there is the restricted section... now what is stopping me from dragging you over there and leaving you for a teacher or caretaker to find you?" he said sternly to the girl. Even though his words had malice and meaning behind it, Percy didn't plan on doing it to someone anytime soon. It was more of a scare tactic to the muggles who dared to speak up to him, and it most of the time proved to be effective "Now are we done here, Lucille?" questioned Percy who placed a hand on the handle of his wand which was showing from his trouser pocket

"Disobedient? There is absolutely no damn good reason for me to even listen to what you're saying. In case I need to remind you, I'm the one that's in the wise house, not the house most famous for a dark lord."
Lucille said spitefully, this was getting low. Never had she tried to feed into house stereotypes, yet what else could she have said?

Letting this disrespectful boy beat her with a bunch of nonsense was hardly an option, the only real thing she could do was try and fight this argument with words.

What the hell did this guy think she was saying? 'Worse than death..' He said,'Know your place.'....

Who the Hell would ever raise a child like that? How could teaching a vulnerable child that they were above everything possibly lead to a great life?

"I'll have you know my 'place' is nowhere below yours, you, the poor, ignorant and arrogant boy who bullies people because they're all 'unworthy' then there's me the girl who just wants to finish up this stupid crap!"
Lucille ended with a slightly louder stomp to the ground. If she was going down then this kid would go down with her, no matter how much it might cost.

At this rate curfew would go into effect in a matter of minutes, and really, who would want to get some after lessons punishment? Not Luci. With a small grumble, she tried to push around the boy, only to stop with yet another empty threat from the boy.

Yes, she was a bit scared of how this situation had escalated, though that's not the reason she pulled out her wand at the kid. HE was the one who had grabbed his own wand anyway, so at this point self-defense would be the eagle's only priority.

"Get away from me, slyther-boy."

Percy looked at her extended wand for a few seconds in silence, before unexpectedly starting to chuckle at the action. It was almost as if the act amused him in a way, like he was expecting it to happen "Blimey, someone is angry..." he said while the hand clutching his wand slowly lifted away to hang loosely beside him "You muggles can't help but call me a bully can you? if I really am as bad as i seem don't you think I would of done it by now?" he said with a small smirk as he shot a quick glance to the redistricted section "I think the girl in the "smart house" needs to grow up to be quite honest, before she gets offended again and pulls her wand out at the wrong person" he said with a bit of emphasis at the end of his sentence, making sure to motion at the wand pointing at him.

If he really wanted, his wand would of been out right now doing the same thing, initiating to something that could only be called a mexican standoff. Although, it was clear something like that would not be viable in a place such as the library... and maybe the fact it was utterly ridiculous a situation came down to this. The slyther-boy slowly folded his arms and kept the same smirk across his lips, knowing full well she didn't have the guts to do anything "And slyther-boy? oh please, I hope that wasn't the best you could do" Percy said with a shake of his head and a sigh, disappointed that a Ravenclaw would come up with such a weak insult. However, it wasn't the time to ponder on such failure right now.

He slowly looked around him and noticed the eerie silence that filled the library, almost to the point where a sound would put them high alert for approaching teachers "Are you going to keep pointing that wand at me, or are you finally going to calm down like a good muggle and allow us to get out of here detection free? the boy said, keeping a close eye on her hand movement to see if she was stupid enough to try anything "Don't try anything smart..."

[font=century gothic]Lucille was regretable reaching a breaking point thanks to this slimy jerk excuse of a boy.

Who hurt this guy so badly anyway?

"Just because you have some kind of tragically terrible life that makes you somehow forget the meaning of 'bully', doesn't mean you should take it out on random people living their own god damn lives."
Lucille lashed out still waving her wand like an actual maniac.

It's just a bunch of mind games he's playing.
The Ravenclaw tried to remind herself,
Don't let him win.

"Are you going to keep pointing that wand at me, or are you finally going to calm down like a good muggle and allow us to get out of here detection free?"
The boy would practically sneer.
How could he be so sure to practically call Lucille an idiot out loud?

This school was one of her - no - her only achievement that would truly change her otherwise boring destiny of muggle life.

Just thinking of how terribly lucky this school was made the witch feel so very vulnerable.

And like that, Lucille's only source of confidence snapped.

Finally lowering her wand the witch's only objective now was to stop her eyes from watering.

"Fine."Lucille said while her eyes glistened in the dim light of the library.

As she placed her wand into her pocket the Ravenclaw hardly saw any pity in the boy's eyes. No surprise there.

"You have fun knowing that tonight you heroically put a worthless muggle like me into her place."Lucille said with a shaky voice still looking directly at his eyes.

"You've won."The girl said making sure he could hear. Finally grabbing her book, Lucille said nothing more when walking back to Ravenclaw Tower.

Nothing much happened afterward, another student had helped out with the door's riddle, and after a small hello and goodbye with The Grey Lady Lucille grimly reminded herself it wouldn't be the last time she would come across a jerk like Slyther-boy.
