Eyes filled with wonder as they arrived at the train station early in the morn. It was way to early for any normal child to get up, especially when there was school involved. Her parent's had called her special while, she herself thought it was just plain weird. You see, Rosy is part siren from her mother's side, though her siren blood isn't as strong as you would think. . What should have made her stand out from the others' instead it left her with a disadvantage.  Rosy's parents thought it be the best for her if she kept that she was part siren to herself they feared what dangers she would face if anyone knew about it.  A gust of wind swirled around the young wizard as if to say good luck to the start of a brand new adventure.

Suddenly , her parents came to a stop to a stone wall with the number nine on it unlike some she instantly knew what to do. The young child started to let go of her mother and father's hands then stopped and held her mother's hand tightly with both her hands. She could feel something wet dripping down on her hands she looked up to see her mother Caroline's eyes filled with tears and she instantly knew it was time to say goodbye to her mum. Yanking gently on her mothers arms she pulled her down to her eye level and then gave her one of the biggest embraces that she was o h so famous for. When their arms parted ways a bright smile beamed from one another's face almost identical like looking into a mirror that showed a younger version of Caroline and an older version of Roseline.  Erik Rosy dad, always said that she got all the looks from her mum however, her mum said she got her clumsy and getting in trouble nature from her father.

Not many words were shared between mother and daughter for the hug was all the words they needed to say goodbye. Erik reached for his daughter's hand as if he was telling her it was time to go "I'm ready" she said with a soft voice. The two of them waved at her mother and the next thing Rose knew she was in a whole different train station unlike the one she arrived at . Soon enough she spotted the Hogwarts Express and butterflies danced around in excitement that spread thought her whole body starting from her belly. Erik smiled as he remembered his first time ,however he almost missed the train his first year.  The father and daughter duo quicken their pace he wanted to make sure his daughter got here on time even if hardly anyone was there. Since they where early Erik had his wife pack a few sandwiches that they could share before she left. Time seem to fly by to where they started boarding and one of the first students to climb on was his pride and joy herself.

Rosy was about to get in when she suddenly forgot something and nearly jumped from the train into her fathers arms in a warm embrace " Make sure you don't cause mum too much trouble ok?" she said with a soft chuckle. The two shared a heartfelt laugh " Who me ? Never" he said with a silly grin on his face. A soft kiss was placed on Rosy forehead "I'll be rooting for you no matter what house that cranky old hat puts you in. I speak for your mother and I when i say that you are the light in the lighthouse that keeps our lives going" with one last hug her father saw her go up the stares and disappear into the massive steel giant.

Looking around she thought to herself what would be the best compartment to be in. A light bulb went off in her head if she was the first one-off she could go wonder a little while everyone got of the train . She quickly opened up compartment 1 and skipped over to the seat next to the window and sat down. Now she just had to wait for everyone to board the train then her adventure could start. She had a few friends that this would also be their first year ,but she hadn't seen them as of yet.

Wolf was amazed at the wonderous amount of people shoved into the train station. Her family, consisting of her mother, father and herself carefully walked through the crowd with all of Wolf's belongings that would accompany her for the time she was at Hogwarts. The three of them came upon the wall as nostalgia hit the adults, confusion was written all over the young girls face, "Mum, Dad, why are we staring at a wall?" Mia spoke up laughing slightly, "What did we tell you about everything is not as it seems?" Oliver nodded and squeezed Wolf's hand gently, "Just as your mum says, don't think everything is what it seems to be,  My little chickadee." Wolf glanced up at the two adults and nodded, "Then what do we do?" The parents nodded at each other and quickly ran towards the wall, Wolf quickly following the two's actions, until they stopped. However, right before supposed contact with the wall, Wolf shut her eyes; upon hearing her father's chuckle, the young girl opened an eye to see the family standing in front of a train. "Whoa..." With Wolf's mouth agape about such a small thing in the wizarding world, Mia smiled gently, "You'll experience much more then that my child, you'll speak to ghosts, and pictures, and even a talking hat!" The whole time her mum was talking Wolf stared at her with wonder in her eyes, slightly nodding. "Alright Mum. I'll try not to feel too fascinated." Her mum gently patted her head, "Find fascination in everything my dear, and keep up your studies as well." Wolf was given a kiss on her forehead as her father took her closer to the train with her belongings, Wolf waving goodbye at her mum with a smile on her face. Oliver kept his eyes on the train, then looked down at his daughter's face, "You'll make plenty of friends I'm sure, just please be careful. The wizarding world is quite different from the muggle one, which makes it much more dangerous. Now, do you have everything?" Wolf could see the worry in her father's moss green eyes as she smiled, "I've double and triple checked, Father. I've got everything and anything I need, including my sketchbook." A sigh of relief came from him as he nodded, "Good. I'm glad you're much more prepared then I was at your age. Now let's get your things on the train." Oliver had quickly helped Wolf get her things where she was staying, and kissed her head as well, "We'll see you soon chickadee. Stay safe, and can't wait to hear how it went." Wolf nodded to Oliver and grinned, "Of course father, I love you and see you soon." Oliver had left her in front of a small compartment on the train, she wasn't sure if others where supposed to be in the same room or not, so she just took a breath and opened up compartment 1.

Shy, kind and unsure. Let's do this.

It was only when he stood in front of the wall separating platforms 9 and 10 that the nerves started to set in. He'd been preparing for this his entire life, having been completely enthralled by the stories his father had of the wizarding school, but here he was, hesitating as he stared at the old bricks. If only his parents had been with him. School started on a bad day for them (with their work being on a hard to predict schedule), so they'd said their good byes the night before and he stayed in a hotel near the station whilst they ventured across to France. It didn't bother him until this point and he urged the lonely feeling trying to make it's home in his chest to stay away. He fiddled wit his sleeve before sighing and walking back a few steps, then jogged towards the wall. When he opened his eyes again, he was standing on a completely different platform. Platform 9 and 3 quarters, as the sign said. His eyes went wide as they landed on the train, a small grin making it's way onto his features. At the very least, they'd be travelling in good old-fashioned style. If they had to travel by broom, he'd likely have picked another school. Flying was not his strong suit, and it was just plain uncomfortable. He scanned the platform, noting that there wasn't all that many people in the area. Was he really that early? He just simply woke up, got ready, and left. He didn't have time to check.. the time, or so he had thought. Turning his wrist, he looked at his watch. Okay, that was pretty early. Chester shrugged his shoulder before moving towards the train. He might as well get his suitcase sorted and pick a seat before people started to file in. He lifted his trunk onto the train, then followed suit by climbing inside. He let out a small hum before moving to slide open the door to the first compartment he came across: Compartment #1. He blinked almost owlishly before slowly smiling. Maybe he wasn't the only one up so early.

"Hey.. can I sit in here?"

[ Hey! I hope this is fine, I literally just got verified so I'm new to all of this. ]

Hey, I'm new and confused, but let's do this.

Having awoken early out of excitement, Kludd was anxious to get to the train station. He'd paced about all morning, waiting until they could leave. His mother shook her head and sighed fondly as he could hardly sit still through breakfast. His twin brother was less excited though. It bothered Kludd to see him just sort of... sulking around. He didn't seem happy at all! Which,  the boy guessed he could understand. They were probably going to be sorted into different houses, have different friends.. different lives.  That was new, and kinda scary. They'd always been together before. Not only that, but how would Hero manage on his own? He guessed he did have pepper now, his bat. She'd already learned to help him. Kludd had faith that his brother could manage on his own somehow, even with his blindness. They'd both do fine. Everything was going to be alright.

Only a short hour later they'd arrived at the train station with all of their belongings, their mother quickly double checking to make sure everything was there. Confirming everything was, she nodded to their father, who then turned to address the two boys. "Alright youngin's. You two ready? The first time's always the hardest."
Kludd simply grinned and nodded, and Hero did too.. though less confidently. He grabbed Kludd's hand as the two faced the wall, and then was promptly dragged through as Kludd ran headfirst into the wall, coming out the other side unscathed.
"Oh my goodness!! That was so fun!" Kludd exclaimed as he looked to his disoriented brother, and then around at everything else. Their dad came through right behind them, as their mother wasn't confident she could do the same. Now that they were on the proper platform, Kludd went over, opening a silver cage and releasing his raven, Ramona. She flew up onto his shoulder to preen herself and let out a happy caw. She didn't appreciate cramped spaces.

The two boys (and raven) said goodbye to their father, giving him a big hug, and telling him they loved him and mom, and promising they'd stay out of trouble and all that. They'd already had a big goodbye moment with their mom earlier, so she wouldn't cry at the train station.

After their goodbyes were over, they grabbed their belongings, boarding the train. Kludd spotted the empty seat in the first compartment, and thought he might as well sit there. The people seemed friendly, and he wanted to make new friends quickly. Hero meanwhile, found a different compartment to sit in, though they both made sure they knew where each other were.

Kludd walked into the first compartment and pointed at the empty space. It was next to a girl with blonde hair, and what he noted to be an unusual aura about her. Not in a bad way, she just seemed interesting.

"Is this seat taken?" He asked politely, and once it was confirmed that it indeed wasn't, he sat down, Ramona still on his shoulder.

"My name's Kludd. Kludd Wolvenbloed. Are all of you first years too?" He inquired, hoping the other three would be up for conversation.

Fingers tapping, to a song that she was humming trying to pass the time before they had to head out to a grand adventure. Rose found her eyelids growing heavy with every note that she hummed until sleep caught up to her like an old friend.  In her slumber, she traveled back to the island that she grew up on. A world set apart from the rest of London, an uncharted Island protected by a large magical veil that keeps all other living things that aren't magical out. Not to mention the guardian of the Island was a sea unicorn, who called the island her home and safe haven.  The island was covered with beautiful flowers an ideal place for any young wizard to grow up with new places to discover almost every day. It took her family time to gain the trust of the island creatures, but it was well worth it.  With their trust, they gain a whole community of the ultimate babysitters' for when Rose goes off on her own.

She was soaring high above the clouds as if she was a phoenix on her first flight. The freedom that came with being in the air, spreading her wings and the feeling soon consumed her whole being.  A grass covered island grew larger by the second as she landed in a field of colorful flowers the kind that would only present itself in your dreams. The scent of wildflowers embraced her in a hug, a soft giggle made its way to the lips of Rose as flower petals' swirled around her with the help of the wind. Falling back into a group of dandelions' the seeds went everywhere as the little bit of the flowers mane went into the sky to find a new home. Taking in the clouds that formed all her favorite magical creatures there was a unicorn, a fire-breathing dragon and a baby phoenix taking off into the sky.

The dream came to an end when suddenly, the door to the compartment opened. Rose eyes shot open as she jolted up losing her balance and falling headfirst into the seat across from her. Tears started to form slowly, then quickly started streaming down her face like an endless waterfall. There was a nice size bumped that started to appear on her head, pain engulfing her in its little-twisted cage of pain. Wet eyes looked towards the door, startled a puppy-like yelp came out of her mouth. Hands came up to her face quickly, still on the floor of the compartment rubbing her eyes trying her best to pull herself together. Putting a sorry excuse for a smile appeared on her face "Umm... Yea you two can sit here" she said answering the two boys question.  The first to come in was a girl with curly locks of brown hair that faded into purple. Next was a raven-haired boy who seemed to be a bit of the quiet type, but who was her to judge too early.  Lastly, was a boy with lovely locks of milk chocolate colored hair who, seem to be the most talkative of the bunch.

Rose got up and went back to her seat " Yes, I'm a first year! The name is Roseline Dove, but you can call me whatever you guys want!" she said a bit rambling a the end. It was after all her first time meeting people that weren't furry or had scales.  Thinking up some topics to talk about she came up with one "So, what are you guys looking forward to the most at Hogwarts? For myself I'm hoping to ride a dragon, though I'm kind of afraid of heights and well... Fire, but.... still maybe this is a chance to face my fears ya know?" she said starting to ramble off.

What a way to make first impressions right?
