A New Road To Walk Gaia Tempest, Henry Knight and Rose Moon Cl

Lily gave a quick stretch as she started to walked down the corridor of the Hogwarts Express. Today would be Lily's first day at her new school and -as anyone would- she had butterflies fluttering in her stomach because of this. She's a half blood witch, so it's not like she didn't know about the Wizarding world, it's that she didn't come often enough here to be use to it. Her father's adoptive parent passed before she was old enough to have any strong memories of them, beyond that she didn't have much of a reason to go to the Wizarding world. Besides everyone and everything she knew was in the muggle world.

Lily continued down the corridor in search for an available compartment, as she walked down she saw students already seated some seem to be new like her, others definitely their first time here. She couldn't help but wonder if she'd make any friends here too. She wondered how many friends her father made. Was he popular or was he a loner? She'd be sure to ask him at some point. Finally, about midway down the corridor she found an empty compartment, sliding the door open she stepped inside. Closing the door behind her; Lily took a seat near the window, it wasn't long before the train started to pull out of the station. Having already said her goodbyes to her family, Lily decided to stay seated and pull out a book.

At some point during the journey sunlight hit the sideview of her eyes. Taking a short break from her book, Lily decided to look at the view from her window. "Wow!" Lily said breathlessly, the sun lighting up icey eyes as she took in the view. The beautiful green grass and trees, in addition to the blue almost cloudless sky, Lily couldn't help but fall in love with the scenery. "I wonder what Hogwarts will look like!" she muttered to herself as she turned back to her book.

Gaia had neglected to look for a seat before the train departed in the rush of waving goodbye to her mother and younger brother out the windows that stretched along each corridor of the train cars. Feeling nervous and unsure of what her experience at Hogwarts would be like, she had taken her time to say goodbye to her family which helped ease her worries for a short time. Once the train had pulled completely away from the station and was well on its way to its top speeds, the dread of uncertainty set in again.

"Deep breathes, Gaia. You can do this. Your mother and father both did this, so you can too." she whispered to herself under her breath as she threw her backpack over her shoulder and began to pull her luggage down the corridor in hopes to find a relatively empty cabin.

Most students had already found a seat and returned to it by the time she had entered the second train car in search of a cabin that wasn't already full to burst. Gaia allowed the sound of the luggage wheels rolling behind her and the bumping of cabin doors as the train rattled to fill her head as a distraction from her thoughts of being alone at Hogwarts for the next year. Would her mother and little brother fare well without her? Would she fare well without them?? This was the first time Gaia had been away from their farm in Allendale for more than a day or two, and the anxiety was welling up faster and faster.

As Gaia made her way further and further to the back of the train she noticed many cabins were becoming empty, but she also noticed that most of the students in them already had house crests on their robes. Gaia is a very social person in most situations, but the anxiety she was feeling made her even more nervous to speak to upperclassmen before she even made it to the castle. Wandering a few cars further, Gaia noticed that there was a cabin with a single student inside. Taking notice of the girls robes she noticed she too had no house yet and took this opportunity to sit with another first-year. Perhaps they could be friends during their time at Hogwarts.

Gaia gently grabbed the handle and opened the door to the cabin slowly, but making sure to announce herself. She noticed the other girl was looking out the window at the scenery of the train ride, and did not want to startle her by barging into her peaceful cabin. " Um.. Pardon me, would you mind if I sat with you in your cabin? I understand if you'd like this space to yourself." Without entering the cabin, Gaia waited for a response from the girl as she stood in the doorway of the rattling train car.

"Um.. Pardon me, would you mind if I sat with you in your cabin? I understand if you'd like this space to yourself." These were the words Lily heard as she was about to go back into her reading. Turning her head toward the source, Lily's eye's came across that of another young girl, seeming to be around her age, although she was a bit on the tall, athletic side, with thick, wavy, dark brown hair and Hazel eyes. Lily's eyebrows raised in slight surprise, her eyes a little wider, she wasn't expecting anyone else to come along honestly. "Uh, sure!" gesturing to the available remaining seats, two across from and one next to herself. "Pick a seat, I don't mind."

While she was caught off guard that someone else came along, she wasn't upset by it in the slightest. In actuality, Lily rather liked the idea of having a bit of company. A new school would surely mean she'd end up meeting most if not some of these people eventually, right? Perhaps she end up making a new friend even, who knows what the future held in store for her. Lily was never one to turn down meeting someone new not in the muggle world and surely not now either. Her mother always told her that meeting new people ways opened up a new world of learning new things. If she wanted to learn more about the wizarding world, more about part of herself what better way than interacting with others? Hogwarts provided a prefect opportunity for that.

"It's nice to meet you." Lily stated happily, a smile gracing her face. "My name is Lily, Lily Lapis. and yours? she hoped she wasn't getting ahead of herself, she doesn't even know what the girl is like after all. Perhaps she was being too friendly, but hopefully not; there was only one way to find out.

September 1st. The day has arrived. Henry would be leaving for his third year at Hogwarts that day. He would be arriving at the school changed from what he was the past few years.

The young teen had grown a few more inches, standing at 5 feet and 6 inches or 167.64 cm now. His blue eyes brighter and skin a tad a bit more tan than it was in previously but only his family and best friends could tell his skin was darker.

His brown hair grew a but more, hanging down over his ears in a part neat and messy look. His shirts across his chest was starting to fill in, the skinny boy for the first time in his life was starting to obtain muscles. Small but still muscles from practicing karate with his elder brother; Arthur.

Henry had his farewell and hugs and promises to write to his elder brother the night before, finding it odd to be returning to Hogwarts.

He won't be alone. At least not like before. He was returning to Hogwarts with his five step siblings and knowledge of the Knights. His birth mum's family.

Henry was writing with his uncle since he met him with his stepsister; Rose early August and even if she seemed against it. The teen wrote to him and felt more connected to his family than before if only he could find his lost twin.

Henry arrived at the train station with the others a bit before the departure time, it was a odd feeling to be drop off by his father and stepmum then by his elder brother. It was a crowded a day so they had to go in groups through the barrier.

Henry held back with his orange feline; Loki on his right shoulder as he watched Faith and Franklin leaned into the barrier together with their luggage carts. Then Gabe and Luke leaned into the barrier together and afterwards Pearl and Jess leaned into the barrier.

Leaving only Henry and Rose, they would lean in next where they found the others. The group wild walk through platform 9 and 3 quarters for a while until they found a open spot for the parents to say their goodbyes, mainly toward the younger kids and Jess who would be a first year that year.

Henry felt Loki on his shoulder as he half listened to Pearl and Luke, it wasn't anything important only their goodbyes and asking them to wirte but the teen was feeling his anxiety hovering over him so he turned toward them and listened as Pearl spoke"stay safe, have fun, and protect each other at Hogwarts. Promise us you'll wirte to us at least once week," head nods and mutters to acknowledge the statement however Henry remained silent as he fiddled with his luggage cart, the teen was wearing a jacket to hide the new scar on his shoulder that he implicated on himself during on full moon.

"Follow what your mother had stated, please. Now Jess since your a first year, it seemed appropriate to send you to Hogwarts with a gift," Luke spoke and smiled toward Pearl as he wrapped his arm around the women, lovely. That was when Pearl handed Jess a wrapped box and Luke handed Gabe a wrapped box as well.

"I thought it would be fair and I think you will appreciate the gift, Gabe," Luke spoke who knew the gift that he gave to Gabe was a miniature flying stitch that the second year could play with.

Henry couldn't believe his father gave them gifts, he didn't receive anything his first year. The teen was take back and nearly missed it when Pearl beamed"we'll see you all in a fee months for the Christmas holiday," the two adults smiled then brought the children in for a group hug. One that Henry stayed out of, the teen caught the eye from his father who frowned at him but the teen just shook it away.

The group of six then boarded the train, they loaded their luggage in the back at the luggage compartment so they wouldn't need to carry with them all the train.

They got a spot by the windows then and Jess and Gabe smiled and waved toward the parents as the train started to depart. Faith and Franklin waved toward them and Henry just watched, his backpack over his left shoulder and Loki sitting on his right shoulder.

When the train left the station, the group went their separate ways. Henry watched as Franklin found a compartment and turned to them as he spoke"I'm going to sit with my friends and no one do anything idiotic. I look forward to the occasion of your sorting this evening, Jess" Franklin then slipped away into the compartment as Faith look on wanting to reply but didn't before leaving the group for her own friends of fifth years.

The group of four walked for a bit, it didn't seem like any of them were leaving anything soon so Henry thought the four of them would be stuck in a compartment together that was until they arrived at a compartment of second year gryffindor's and slytherin's who invited Gabe in.

Henry smiled toward him as he spoke"I'll see you at dinner, go have fun," Gabe returned his smile and the two did a half hug as Gabe replied"you have show me those spells! Don't forget!" Henry smiled down at the boy and lightly pushed him toward the second year compartment as he spoke"I won't." The two smiled at one another them Henry watched Gabe join the compartment.

Shortly after that a compartment filled with first years invited Jess in, the girl didn't seem that cheerful and Henry waited as Jess and Rose has a special sister moment with each other.

After Jess entered the compartment and it was just Rose and Henry.

The teen was looking through each compartment hoping to spot his friends. The blue eyes scanned each faced in each compartment they passed for his friends; Logan, Cash, Paige, Scarlett, Dakota, Aldor, and a few others however unfortunately he couldn't find them.

Eventually they reached a compartment that wasn't full like the rest but wasn't empty either, it had two probably first year females.

"What about this one, Artemis?" Henry asked Rose and once she would agree the young teen would slide the compartment door open and allow Rose to enter first before entering behind her.

The teen boy would smile toward the two girls as he spoke"hello, I'm Henry and this is my sister; Rose," that was an first calling Rose his sister, of course it was easily then stepsister so as the teen continued" the other compartments are full and we hope you two don't mind if we joined you," Henry would take a seat next to Rose and place his backpack on his lap as Loki jumped down and say besides him. Watching and possibly judging the new people.

"This is Loki, he has trust issues so best not to touch him unless he approaches you," Henry explained as Loki looked over at Chaska and gave a short meow then a tilt of his head at the girls almost asking the fellow feline about them.

Back to Hogwarts again. Rose was excited to be going back. She would get to see friends, take new classes...

But something was nagging at the back of Rose's brain that morning, that morning that they boarded the Hogwarts Express to go back to Hogwarts for her third year. Where was her home? For a while, she had been convinced that Hogwarts was here home- a place of mystery and love and friendship and learning. But during her second year, it didn't feel like home either. There were people there that just ruined it. Messed everything up. And, more than anything, she had missed Jess and been concerned for her. Rose has said goodbye to the house she had lived in for most of her life, apart from the times at Hogwarts. That had felt so much like home. And now, she was living in a new house that her parents told her it was home, but it didn't feel like home either.

There was a creeping feeling that she didn't belong anywhere.

Rose shook it off, yanking herself back to reality and running through the barrier that led to the Hogwarts Express station. She remembered smiles and happiness here other times she was here, but now it just felt so empty. Like everybody around her was excited, but she didn't. She was the exception.

No matter what, she knew that she belonged with her siblings, and that included Henry now. Even if she didn't ever belong in a place, she belonged with them.

With that thought in mind, she hung near the back of the group, making sure that she kept everyone in sight. Jess and Gabe got presents, Gabe getting a Snitch and Jess getting a necklace with a butterfly on it. "It used to be mine. I got it before my first year at Hogwarts," she said, smiling. If she had gotten it for her first year at Hogwarts, it would have been from Margerie. Pearl had been a transfer student for the last couple of years of her magical education. It would have meant a lot more to her than any present she would get for going away to Ilvermorny.

Rose could tell it was a meaningful moment between the two. Jess smiled and came forward to hug her mother. The woman told them that she would see them for the holidays and beckoned the rest of her kids forward, and they, including Rose, shared a group hug. The group hug also included Luke, and with any close inspection, you could tell that the group hug from the kids was more favored towards their mother than Luke.

They departed from their mother and Luke and then boarded the train, waving to them a little before going off to find their compartments.

Rose smiled at each of her siblings as they departed from the group. Rose knew that Faith and Gabe were quite popular in their years, and that while Frankie didn't have a widespread reputation or anything, he had a big friend group that he spent a lot of his time around. She knew he was off to find them, and Faith and Gabe found some of their own friends to hand around.

Voices from a nearby compartment called out to Jessica. Rose glanced at the girl, who looked at them with doubt. Rose knew that she hadn't had many friends at her Muggle school at the end of the year, due to a rude gossip girl spreading a rumor about her that wasn't true. Rose's heart sank, and she looked her little sister in the eye. "Look, you deserve a fresh start, okay? Give them a try."

Jess took in a deep breath and nodded, glancing to the girls as the beckoned to her. Rose hugged her sister tight, whispering, "I love you," in her ear, and then nudged her towards the girls.

"See you soon," Jessica said, with a smile. She entered the compartment and closed the door behind her.

Henry suggested a compartment. Rose looked in, seeing two younger girls. She said, "Sure. Doesn't look like they'll kill us, right?" she said jokingly, and softly, so that only Henry could hear. No, neither of the girls in the compartment looked particularly scary.

They entered the compartment, and Rose gave a little wave as she was introduced. It was only until after Henry went on to talk about how the rest of the compartments seemed full that she noticed she had been introduced as his sister. She was, of course. But she also wasn't. But she was. It was complicated. Rose was Henry's step sister. Their parents had gotten married over the summer. But it didn't feel strange to be introduced as Henry's sister, for some reason. It was like they had always been siblings.

She hoisted her trunk up onto the rack above, but she kept a small cage down with her, placing it on the seat and letting her own cat, Chaska, out. The fluff meowed in protest of being locked in there, but got over it quickly, rubbing her cheek on Rose's hand. She walked across the seat and stretched her nose out to sniff the darker-haired girl [Lily]. It was clear that both Chaska and Rose were friendly, even though the latter was a little bit anxious. "Chaska's friendly," Rose informed the girls, taking a seat. "So what are your names?" she asked. Rose's voice was a little quieter than you would normally hear voices, with a distinct, yet understandable American accent.
