Rohan was still overthinking his arrival here. His father hadn't been interested in him, but that was normal. Still... how did it work with that wall? Would he be able to walk through the wall again, but then the other way?
Rohan arrived in one of the last compartments of the train. As he was 35 minutes early, he just stared out of the window at the smokey air surrounding the train. A lot of thoughts were racing through his mind, for example, what to talk about when Elisabeth (and maybe others... maybe..) were here. What house would he be sorted in? What would hogwarts be like? What kind of stuff would he learn? And much, much more. He had heard the houses were Ravenclaw, house of the wise, Hufflepuff, house of the kind, Slytherin, house of the proud and Gryffindor, house of the brave. He hoped for Gryffindor, although he was quite sure he was not brave enough to get sorted there.
After a while he grabbed the Quabbler and started reading. Waiting for his friend, he ate some sandwiches. Hoping some kind of trolley lady would come with magical candy.. but that was far too unrealistic, he thought.

OOC:FIRST YEARS STAND TOGETHER! uunga boonga, bring as many first years if you want I love interactions!
This whole trip to get the train station and eventually, Hogwarts express. He had to wake up early in morning as his parents and his older sister kept on making him do a lot of things like making his bed, getting all of his clothing in order, packing food for Remi as his mother states, "Hogwarts won't feed you like I'll feed you, Ray-mi."
Standing in front of the train with a nervous look but a cruel mix of 'wanting this whole thing' be over on his face. Rubbing his tired eyes, clearly agitated. After placing most of his luggage inside the storage compartment but keeping a small satchel that wrapped around his waist, like a rich man's fanny-pack. There was soft engraving on the parts that had gold-lining on the bag.
Looking for a place to take a good nap in but the front and the middle of the passenger compartment were too bright, especially this time of day. Going to the back of the train and opening up one of the compartments.
Briefly before, he looked grumpy but upon seeing Rohan, the ginger boy, he looked mildly interested in talking to him but he appeared to be reading."Oh. Hi."He said before reaching inside his satchel and taking out this mini-version of pillow and he fluff it up a couple of times,"My name is Remi."With a soft, puffing noise as his pillow increased in size, maybe some type of wizard enchantment. He put it behind his head and closing his eyes, he wasn't sleeping but idle listening."So, what's your name?"

Elisabeth was actually quite surprised when she returned to the compartment where she had put her trunk earlier. Some days ago in Diagon Alley, while picking up supplies for her study at Hogwarts, she met a fellow new student, Rohan Fog, and promised him that she would accompany him during their very first train ride to the magic school. And here he was, right there in the compartment where she had stored her trunk. He was not alone, though, there was another boy with him.
Elisabeth opened the door of the compartment. "There you are, Rohan. What a surprise! I was looking for you," she greeted him.
And then she turned to the other student. "Hi," the girl said. "I didn't know that Rohan had another friend coming; I thought he -" At this point, Elisabeth paused for a moment. What should she say in order not to appear as rude? Finally, she decided to say, "- didn't know anyone else yet. You guys met at the platform while waiting for the train to leave?"
The Hispanic-Asian girl wanted to make sure that both students felt they were welcomed, so she gave them a friendly smile.

Not at all! Elisabeth will be excited now there is another girl to talk with. : ) But it doesn't mean she doesn't enjoy talking with you boys!

When the other boy entered the compartment, Rohan tried to ignore him at first. Why did this boy interrupt so much and sat down here without asking? He didn't want to be too rude, so he just continued reading the Quabbler. Eventually the boy asked for his name and he simply said:
"Hey.. I'm Rohan..."
The boy called Remi had fallen asleep, and then finally Elisabeth joined them. Rohan was quite a lot more enthousiastic about her arrival and told her:
"And thanks for coming! I was just reading this magazine... Anyhow, I think we still have five minutes before the train leaves."
He tried to said the following as nice as possible, even though he didn't like it.
"I didn't know anyone, indeed. This fellow just sat down here..."
Rohan was annoyed, but tried to appear not so. He thought to himself that everything would get all right. The more people, the more fun, his mother always told him.
"Are both of you also excited? I really am.."
He was. He finally could go to a school where he probably wouldn't be the 'weirdo'. Where he wouldn't be laughed at, because of his fater. Now he had a year alone. Without parents. It didn't bother him, because he never had a really close bond to his father and mother, but he hoped that at least one of the people here would be in the same house.

Within the realm of half-sleepiness, as all awareness was just gone and there at the same time. As his head was relaxing on the pillow, colors flickering under his closed eyes as he was trying to get some sleep for the trip to Hogwarts proper.
But that'll have to wait. It could have been a minute or up to five until another person opened up the door and started to talk to Rohan, the chap's compartment Remi randomly chose to just hop in. A girly-voice...
Sighing and slowly opened his eyes before seeing another person, this girl who was grabbing Remi's attention rather effortlessly, even with him being slightly tired from the activities of cleaning one's house before leaving for a trip.Remi told himself in his head as he blinked, his eyes immediately started to water upon the sensation of ripping his eyes off her. How bizarre.
'...Stop looking at them.'
He tried speaking but it came off as a utter,"Uh..."He offered a weak smile before continuing,"Yeah, real excited."He looked at both of them and then at the girl again, his eyes strangely glued to the girl again."I have to ask. You two know each other?"
This time, allowing it happen,He tilted his head, trying to find a good enough reason why he just added the -us after his actual name,"Well, I'm Remi but people call me Remius because..."He said, with a big scum look on his face but before it lingered for too long, he looked at Elisabeth again,"All cool wizards have a -us at the end of their name like Albus. Learned about him during the summer camp!"He furrowed his brows, not knowing why."And why do I keep on looking at you?"He pouted his lips, trying to figure something out."I know it sounds weird but..."
He paused, trying to find the right words to avoid offending like last time,"Does Hogwarts have like Dhampires and half-giants? Back in Ivory Coast, they're not really a large population of wizards that have, uh - "He asked the two other first years, interested with the European wizarding lore that was quite expansive."exotic, yeah, exotic blood."

"I didn't know anyone, indeed," was the answer Rohan gave to Elisabeth's remark about him bringing a new friend - well, OK, acquaintance - to his compartment. "This fellow just sat down here..."
Elisabeth rose an eyebrow. As far as she understood, people usually asked before they settled to sit if they found the compartment, or joined seat, had been occupied. Especially here in the United Kingdom. Oh well, perhaps this boy was from another country, just like she herself was... but still...
"Are both of you also excited? I really am.." Rohan spoke up again.
"Yeah, real excited," replied the other boy, and Elisabeth decided to just drop the topic off her mind. Perhaps it would be better for her to try to forget about that question of habit she was considering.
Therefore, she answered Rohan's inquiry instead, "I am. Though a bit nervous too. I've never been to a boarding school before." Inside her head, she added, Not sure I'm gonna like it, either. Too many people are cramped into one bedroom, but the girl decided not to speak that out loud. People didn't need to know all about her thoughts, the Hispanic-Asian decided.
"I have to ask. You two know each other?" the boy, whose name she had not found out, asked the other two students in the compartment. Elisabeth gave him a nod. "We met some time ago in Diagon Alley, when we purchased Hogwarts school supplies," she explained.
Soon, the boy had moved to another topic to talk about. This time, he introduced himself as Remi ("but people call me Remius because all cool wizards have a -us at the end of their name, like Albus"). Rohan had introduced himself to him, so it was Elisabeth's turn. "Pleased to meet you. My name's Elisabeth."
As she spoke, however, the part-Veela could feel Remius' eyes on her all the time. It made her really, really uncomfortable, particularly after he wondered out loud, "And why do I keep on looking at you?" Elisabeth guessed that it was because of the Veela gene inside her, but she did not dare to answer it that way. She got even more afraid when Remius asked if Hogwarts had Dhampires and half-giants, since it might be a hint that he had figured out that she wasn't full human.
Luckily, he talked about his country of origin, Ivory coast; so Elisabeth only briefly answered his question before being able to steer the topic. "No idea; we're just first-years." A slight pause. "So... you're from Ivory Coast? How is it like there? Tell us about your country, Remius. I've never been there."

Of course the others were also excited. That was logical. Rohan couldn't really think clear, because he felt really socially awkward in this situation.
"I've never been to a boarding school either.. But I think it'll be fun!"
The subject moved on, regardless of Rohan's effort to keep talking about Hogwarts. When the boy said his name was Remi, but people called him Remius, Rohan thought it indeed sounded cooler. Under his breath he tried it with his own name:
"Rohannius..."
Sounded a little cooler, indeed. When Remius mentioned the girl's appearance, Rohan noticed. She didn't look completely like a human... No, it couldn't be... He decided to just leave it, and supposed he'd get an answer sooner or later. When the boy started talking about 'exotic blood' he saw Elisabeth get uncomfortable and replied to Remius' question about the excotic blood on Hogwarts.
"Yeah.. I heard they had a half-giant gamekeeper a while ago.. They're really accepting, so probably you'll see a few non-human students there.. I hope so, at least. I like people who are slightly different."
He hoped he had made it clear that he didn't care whether anyone here was not completely human.
Rohan didn't have any idea where the ivory coast was, but decided to listen to Remius' story.. If he had one.

He said with a friendly enough smile, noticing how Rohan said it quietly to himself,"See Rohannius~."He looked fine for a moment, but thinking about the mean second year girl made his face slightly sour,"Some of the second years thought it sounded dumb to add that part but they're meanies."He grinned radiantly, losing the previously offended look on his face."Well, some of them. There's this really cool second year named Syl, he brought some ice cream and we talked a little bit."
Lookin over back at the girl, who looked slightly uncomfortable and he felt a little guilty. But should he feel guity for being curious? Was that really fair?
Pushing that aside, as Elisabeth and the curious eyes of Rohan, he would explain,Remi stated vaugely, adjusting his head with the pillow on his neck and it comforted his back. He continued,"Ok so, my parents and all of my three older sisters were born in Ivory Coast. I was born there too but I was too young to remember most of that stuff -"Remi grew a little more still, the idea of werewolves was too frightening and saying the word made his voice more shakey,"But there's plenty of pictures that I have gotten from my parents. Anyway, the Wizarding population over there is mainly just non-magical creatures but people really don't like werewolves down there."Remi lied and just like that, he tried to change the subject,"A lot of nightmare stories, folktales, yeah... - I-I don't really believe in those stories.""What your guys' wand look like?"
Placing his hand into his satchel, as small as it is, he looked like he was digging inside until he pulled out his wand.He said, as if he was doing an impression about some adult he heard during the summer camp."Look at this beauty."
His wand, about 11 inches and then some, as it's base was chocolatey brown and as it rose up to the tip, it was jet-black. Remi smiled,His eyes beaming with delight."First person in my family to have a wand this early. I can't wait to do magic with this."

Hi Rohan, your tagging reached me all right. I couldn't reply at that time though, cuz it was Remi's turn. Remi, turned out you didn't realise it was your turn! LOL.
Rohan said that like Elisabeth, he had never been to a boarding school; but unlike her, he thought it would be fun. Elisabeth did not think it was worth a debate though; it was Rohan's right to feel whatever he felt, and he had this right as much as she had hers. Besides, she appreciated that he did not mind others' blood status, even though she still did not feel ready to tell him or Remius that she was a half-breed. So, she decided to move along to another topic with the boys.
Next, Remius told them how some mean second-years said it was terribly silly of him to nickname himself Remius when his formal name was Remi. For Elisabeth herself, Remius had every right to call himself whatever he wanted, and thus she told him, "That's mean. I think even if they don't like the way you nickname yourself, they can just prefer not to use it."
The Hispanic-Asian girl had been hoping to hear much about Ivory Coast, therefore she was slightly disappointed when Remius said that he could not remember much about the country. She assumed that unlike her, the boy had permanently moved to the United Kingdom with his nuclear family long ago, which also explained why he did not visit his country of origin much these days.
Elisabeth was sure that after telling them about Ivory Coast, Remius would ask Rohan and her to share stories about their birth places; as a result, she was a little surprised that he did not. Perhaps he assumed that she had spent all her life in London, a city (she assumed) he was very familiar with and therefore was not interested in knowing more.
Instead, the boy moved on to the subject of magic wands. He looked very pleased with his wand, but more than that, he seemed to be more proud with the fact that he was the youngest of his family to ever own a wand at the age of eleven.
"Me, I don't like my wand," Elisabeth admitted. She did not know why she was telling Remius and Rohan about it, but all the same, she decided there was no harm in admitting it. It was her right to like or dislike something, was it not? "It has snallygaster heartstring. Cruelty against animal, if you ask me. I prefer a wand with the core of phoenix feather like my papá's, or unicorn hair like my mamá's." Elisabeth nearly cried that day she purchased her wand and Mr Ollivander insisted that the one with a beast's heartstring core was the one that chose her, and she still disliked that wand now. Maybe one day I'll get a new one, the girl consoled herself, one with the core of a phoenix feather or a unicorn hair.

Rohan listened to Remi's short talk about Ivory Coast. He imagined what other country's looked like. He hadn't ever gone out of Schotland. He would love to, but his parents were always to busy for holidays out of the UK.
When Remi showed them his wand and told him he was proud of it, Rohan felt in his pocket. He had his wand with him, always. It was like a weapon. He had been practising a bit, but since it was not really allowed, he had stopped when he accidentally broke one of his mother's vases.
When Elisabeth told them about the fact that she disliked her wand, because of the core, Rohan thought it was gibberish, but after a while he started to agree.
"I do agree. I think they should not harm animals, just because we, humans, want a wand that's a little more powerful. That's just rubbish."
He showed the others his own wand.
He had always had the ambition to become a wandmaker. His uncle is one, and the one time he visited him, he had had an immediate obsession with it. He didn't know whether it was the smell of wood, or the feeling of creativity that made him enthousiastic..
