Ayame wasn't too nervous about the whole running into the wall, she was more so excited. Her jitters were from the opportunity of a new adventure. The only thing she was nervous about was leaving her parents behind. Ayame wasn't use to not being able to return to her parents love at home, their warmth will be missed.

Her parents hugged her and gave a kiss on the cheek, they waved goodbye, and she smiled at them then went on her way.

The train was filled with an air of excitement and joy. Everyone had smiles and gleeful faces as they chatted with one another. Ayame didn't know anyone, but she was told a few of her cousins went to hogwarts. However, she preferred not to run into her relatives since they were a part of the elitist group of pure bloods.

Ayame walked through the train and passed the many filled compartments until she reached one seemed to have only one person in it. "I hope she doesn't mind me interrupting."

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

Knocking on the door, she made sure to get the girl's attention. "Sorry for interrupting your reading. I hope you don't mind if I take a seat here." Ayame bowed slightly before entering and taking a seat across from the girl.
"My name is Ayame Iwamoto. Nice to meet you." Ayame said with small dimpled smile.
Then she tilted her head and reached out her small right hand "What is your name?"

Alexis sat and read her book for about 5 minutes at most. She heard three knocks at the door and she looked up. She looked at the girl blankly. Of course, she did not want to sit alone for the whole ride.

“I don’t mind.” Alexis replied but she noticed that her voice was slightly more cold and distant than she intended it too.

“I’m Alexis. Alexis Asterion.” She paused for a moment before continued,

“...Pleasure” She decided that she didn’t know what to say, so she just kept quite instead.

After a while, she chose to break the silence. “Did your parents came to send you off?”

“My parents didn’t come. They had to go to work early. What about yours?”

“My dad is an auror. Have you heard of him? Cyrus Asterion? He was on Daily Prophet sometimes.” Her father was a somewhat famous auror, she didn't mean to sound obnoxious though, the question was merely out of pure curiosity. She didn't want the first impression to be the her as a spoiled little girl, Maybe later.

After all, Alexis haven't decided what to make of the girl yet. Maybe she'll be nice?

"Yay. Someone let me sit with them." With big smile she welcomed Alexis's introduction "It's nice to meet you Alexis."

Afterwards there was some silence, but Ayame wasn't bothered because she was enjoying the sights. Suddenly Alexis broke the silence "Yes my parents came to see me off. I'm glad they did since I won't be seeing them for a while." Ayame's parents were a part of the old money pure bloods who didn't have to work, but they still did odd jobs for wizards and muggles alike.

When Alexis said her parents' didn't see her off, Ayame was impressed. Though it did sound a bit lonely "Woah so you knew what to do by yourself. That's awesome, though it is kind of sad that your parents didn't come." Ayame looked at Alexis with clear amazement.

"About my mom and dad, they usually just volunteer and help with things they can; I consider myself lucky that they are able to be there all the time." Ayame's cheeks blushed light pink"Hope I don't sound too childish, but I'm not ashamed of my parents."

Ayame was caught off guard when Alexis told her about her dad "That's wild! I don't know too much of the wizard world, but I do know about the auror." There was a tone of excitement and respect when Alexis talked about her dad. This was something Ayame could connect with, both Alexis and Ayame loved their parents. "My dad doesn't know too much about Hogwarts since he went to school at the Japanese school of magic, so my mom had to teach me almost everything."

"Wait wouldn't this be a good time to learn more about the wizard world." Ayame was still new to magic, but she is always open to learning more. "Hey Alexis, would you mind teaching me a little more about magic and wizards?"

“Actually, I came with my brother. They're in their third year. It's not sad though, my father loves his work and my mother has to go back to France after she finished with hers. I don't want them to be too tired.” Alexis stated, not sure why it was sad. She sees her parents everyday, even if her father was a bit busy but her mother on the other hand, she didn't work full time job, she just happened to be working today.

Alexis smiled proudly when Ayame speak of her father with respect, she felt herself warming up to the girl. “It's a pretty dangerous profession, but my father said it is a great honour.”

“My father taught me a lot about Hogwarts too. He was a Gryffindor. But my mother went to Beauxbatons. I almost didn't come here, you know.” She giggled. It's true her parents have been discussing this since they were born, always debating which school is better. Of course, when her brothers chose to attend Hogwarts, Alexis automatically chose Hogwarts too.

Alexis was surprised when Ayame asked her teach her more about the wizarding world, she just assumed that the girl was from a pure-blood family. Before she could stop herself, she asked, “Sure, what do you want to know? But I have a question, I thought you're a pure-blood?”

She realised she must have sound really arrogant and condescending, Merlin! I sounded like my cousin. Mother would have my head. Alexis has a lot of cousins, not all of them are nice. Some of them would just go on and on about blood superiority or something, she wasn't really listening. Her mother always tell her that it was wrong.

Don't be afraid to speak your mind, but you need not be rude about it.

Sometime Alexis would wonder, her mother would mind if she was to insult others and speak in such vulgar language but would not mind her daughter being spoiled? How does that work?

She added, “Nothing against muggleborn and half-blood. I was just curious”
