Club Information

The S.W.A.G Club is an IC club run by student players that hosts moderated games every 2-4 months. These activities involves spells, dice rolls, possibly a few broken bones, bruises and trips to the infirmary. However, it is all fun and games. This is a great platform where your character can go all out on a rival and most likely yet get away with it. However due to the recently implemented IC rules, two professors have been invited to oversee future games and our club have therefore been legalised. No idea what to do with all your time? If both duelling and outdoors sports are your thing, join the spells wands and games club, Hogwarts' first ever outdoor duelling game club. Thrilling games unlike any other will be held each club session on the grounds, club activity area or the Quidditch pitch. Interested? Fill in the form and send it per owl to Alan Vanes or Flash Holmwood. We are the organizers of these nice games! The games are switched up and circle, so there is usually something of interest for each and every one. We look forward to see you at our club meetings! Perhaps you have already seen a game of ours?

IC Rules

1. Post once between moderation rounds (every week).

2. Contact me if you aren’t able to get your post in. Preferably a week prior so that we can sort things out.

3. Do not god-mod other players

4. Read moderation posts carefully and react to them accordingly.

5. Be respectful. Please know the fine line between OoC and IC.

6. The only spells that you are limited to are that in your trunk. Any other spells will result in an automatic critical failure and a possible backfire.

7. DM me your action via Discord DraLamb#5832 so that it may stay anonymous!

1. The use of Incendio, Diffindo and Lumos (for the sake of fellow dhampirs) is strictly forbidden only unless a game requires these spells.

2. Only spells are to be used.

3. There should be no attempted physical attacks.

Since his incident with Aurelia last summer, Eyre has felt greatly indebted to her. He wants to prove to her and to himself that he is not a mess of a human, and that he's capable of being strong. Also, he needs an outlet to keep himself from going absolutely bonkers. He's had a lot of life-changing events in the past couple months that have caused him to have a lot of built up anger and trauma, and he wants to learn how to deal with it in a (dubiously) healthy way. (Also, he's always been largely competitive and enjoys a good fight, so he knows that he's going to have a glorious time learning how to duel as an excuse to scrap with people more.)

IC Reason why your character wishes to join/continue being in the club (answer must be at least 35 words) : The first time the green eyes girl ever heard of SWAG club was from one of their acquaintances last year. Cash love outdoor and spells, so being in the SWAG club bring two of their favorite things at once. Also ever since their father being missing two weeks before summer then the betrothed that was going on, Cash need an outlet to release that penned up frustration plus they also want to meet new people, what a better way than join a club.

Truth be told, Piérre liked S.W.A.G. It was an excuse to cut loose and go full out on anyone who was either aiming at him or against his team. It gave him good spell practice, and he had had fun. That was what he was supposed to have at school, and especially what he should find in a club.

It would be an underestimation to say that this summer had been tough for Ariana. Being exposed to such raw truth, the young girl had somewhat been stripped of the innocence she had left. Needing somewhere to vent out her feelings while practicing something she found a thrill in would be fitting, since she doesn’t have the best temper management. Post first year she hasn’t changed much at all regarding her fun personality; however her temperament would definitely be stronger and her guard up, naivety long forgotten.

She is also quite good at fighting or challenges, any competitive sports really. This all comes quite naturally to her, as her childhood consisted of these sorts of things daily; there was no escaping the unpredictable streets of Buenos Aires, much less her several older brothers constant attempts at ambushing her.

While wild and turbulent the S.W.A.G club has been an activity or club Alan has enjoyed participating in ever since he joined it. Alan is a quite social and physically active person which makes the games and challenges perfect for him and he gladly takes them on. If he were to leave the club permanently there would just be a huge part missing in his after school activities and he enjoys meeting a lot of students from different years.

IC Reason why your character wishes to join/continue being in the club: Amadea had heard of the SWAG club and after her less than joyous third year where she missed the majority of it, she made a deal with herself that she was going to become more involved at Hogwarts and turn her life back around. Her father's death was a huge upset in her life and Amadea knew that even though she missed him every day, he wouldn't want her to put her life on hold because of him. With this new resolve, Amadea vowed to become more involved at Hogwarts and try to step out of her comfort zone more than she did. She began this by participating in events such as the Pre Summer Egg Race and the Water Fight at the end of her third year and promised herself that she would continue into her fourth year, which is why she decided to apply to join the SWAG Club. In addition, duelling has always been one of Amadea's favorite activities and she loves any chance that she can have to practice.

It had been a while since Lindsey read her uncle’s old letters and diaries, which led her to have suspicions on her aunt Dorothy. Her aunt was described as a dangerous and crazy woman according to the diaries, and her uncle was afraid that she’s after Lindsey’s mother. Though still not knowing why and how, Lindsey felt that she had to be prepared. The S.W.A.G. club seemed a great way to practice the spells and get her better prepared. Also, she would be glad to meet more new people and joining an interesting club is just what she wants.
