Riley grinned at Miko after he gave the answer. “Nice one!”

He raised his hand to give the other boy a high five, glad that they were getting so many points! Riley would never admit it, but he had a competitive side even for the smallest things, and he wanted their team to win. Winning shouldn’t be that hard, since this seemed generally easy and his teammates seemed to know what they were doing.

He glanced over at Rowan, smiling lightly. Maybe this could be fun, this school thing. Ok maybe that was a bit of a high hope but oh well.

Someone had already guessed it, and they had guessed it very quickly. "Yes, it was the bisexual flag. Great job!" Still, something nagged at her, something that had made her want to choose a different flag. One that would have been harder to guess...

Koko finally realized what it was: the red team had already gone. "You don't have two flags on you, do you?" she asked with a raised eyebrow. She didn't know if one team could go twice. She didn't even know if they had the materials to go twice. With a dry laugh, she strode somewhat nervously off of the stage and went to be seated at a much more comfortable table. At least, she thought, the show must go on... The competitive part of her knew that if the game was over, the red team would win. That competitive part wouldn't let it happen. However, the other half of her mind didn't really care...

MEETING TWO:

7 September, 2019

Jay was glad that a lot of students joined the club once again, and this time is was much faster than before and it’s just the first week of school. In this meeting they were hoping that everyone could get to know each other and get along, look who’s talking... they thought. Jay themself has trouble with this and here they were making plans as the president of the club. Jay sat on the table and looked at the roster, unlike last year there was now a mix of first years, second years, and even third years, they couldn’t help but to smile at this.

The club room was very simple at the time since it was only the second year, there was a lonely poster in the corner with the lgbt flags and there were some tables and chairs for the people. Jay pushed themself off the table and went ahead and stood by the doorway, oh the open door there was a big poster that wrote ‘Welcome to the LGBTQIAP’ all in rainbow colour, this way it would stand out and would be easy to find for those new members.

I’m back. Jay or Deplorable ooc. Owls open for threads.

Sophie walked into the meeting room rather shyly. The blonde girl had been slightly hesitant to come to the meeting at first and she still wasn’t completely convinced that she would enjoy it, she didn’t usually like events that involved a bunch of people. To her surprise though crowds were definitely not a problem, at least so far. In fact, Sophie might have thought that she had just missed the meeting if it were not for her trust in her memory. Sophie sat down tentatively at one of the tables. One other student was sitting at the table already, or well, on the table. Thoughts flooded into her mind, was someone else already sitting here? Did the person not want to be disturbed? The lean girl sat awkwardly for a few seconds before she finally built up the courage to say hello, an impressive feat in Sophie’s opinion “What’syourname?” She asked in a very fast pace. Sophie repeated it slightly more slowly for good measure, unsure of whether or not she was even the slightest bit understandable the first time, “Sorry, I meant to ask what your name was. I’m Sophie by the way.” She gave a small apologetic smile as she spoke.

Stella cautiously peeked in, standing in the door frame with a tentative look on her face. She knew she'd found the right room, judging on the rainbow posters and pride flags around the room, but she was a bit nervous seeing as this was her first meeting. She wasn't even out of the closet to her family yet-- she hadn't gathered the courage. But she knew how she felt wasn't uncommon-- it was 2019, after all-- and when she saw the club name among a long list, Stella knew she wanted to meet other people like her and that she wanted to join. And now, here she was. There were only two people in the room-- Stella was early-- that appeared to be having a conversation.

No point in interrupting Stella thought, slipping in and silently making her way towards an empty table, hoping to go unnoticed. Normally, she'd immediately be introducing herself, but she was still coming to terms with her sexuality and was still a bit on the fence about actively coming to the club meetings. Stella kept her head down as she walked, biting her bottom lip. This was the first thing she'd done behind her parents back and she was certain they'd find out somehow. She'd asked them about joining other clubs, and so far the only one they'd allowed was Theater Club-- and even then it was an awkward obligation. They still hadn't accepted that Stella had been sorted into Hufflepuff. There hadn't been one since her great-great grandfather, and he hadn't been the most successful-- or that popular among the Dawsons. Stella had never even seen a photograph of him. He'd been shunned. So, yeah. Stella was nervous about this. But she wasn't about to turn back.

Comically Wren thought she was running late. Again. She assumed. She had assumed her whole life that she ran late because she always overslept. Her dad like to joke that she could sleep through anything. Anything. Like fireworks, shot off right beside her ear, or ,after he learned about magic, he said she could sleep through any spell that blew up. He was a man that like to joke and talk. she got that from him. She loved to talk, and make people laugh. Those were her goals in life. Even though she new now that talking really wasn't a life goal. When she grew up she really wanted to be a comedian but in the meantime she was just going to try to excel in school.

This club she had heard about from a friend of hers. She was very interested being bisexual and all. She was hoping to meet other people like her and maybe make some new friends while she was at it. Where Wren was from the LGTBTQ+ community was frowned on. If her parents ever found out she might be kicked out of her house and she didn't want that. She loved her parents very much.

Walking into the room with the banner marked 'Welcome to the LGBTQIAP' in rainbow color she new she was in the right place. She saw three other people there besides herself and decided that she would have them mark her as a chatterbox as usual.

"Hey! My name's Wren. I have one thing to say. Which is unusual cause I tend to talk a lot. I am bisexual and go by she/her. I support everyone and everything! I am not out to my parents yet sadly though I wish I were cause it would be a bit easier. Oh and I tend to talk a lot so please just ignore me if I get to talking to much!"

Stella looked up at the sound of a girl introducing herself-- she'd said her name was Wren. What a pretty name, She thought with a small smile. Should she introduce herself? Or should she try and survive the meeting without saying anything?

No. I might as well try and make some friends. That's what I came here for. She thought to herself stubbornly. She waved Wren over and patted the table to indicate that she was welcome to sit. "Hi, Wren. I'm Stella, and I identify as pansexual and go by she/her. And... I'm not out either. I joined this club without letting them know about it, and I'm actually quite nervous about it. They have ways of finding out everything, no matter how sneaky I am. My father's really traditional, and by association, so is my mother. She goes along with basically everything he believes.." She mumbled, ducking her head and flushing. Why had she told her that? She hadn't intended to spill her parents' personal life to the first person she met here! Plus, there were two other people there beside Wren that now knew!

"Sorry about that.. You probably don't want a bunch of details about my parents.. I'm still unsure if joining this club was a good idea." She admitted with a small, embarrassed smile.

There was a girl across the room. She had blinding red hair, and wore a chocker. It looked really good on her not gonna lie. Wren was startled when the girl waved her over, and patted the seat next to her indicating she wanted Wren to sit next to her.

She goes along with basically everything he believes.."

"Okay, that's cool Stella. I like your name by the way. I think it's really pretty. I feel you my parents are pretty much the same way. They would kill me if they found out I was bi."

"Sorry about that.. You probably don't want a bunch of details about my parents.. I'm still unsure if joining this club was a good idea."

"No, that's absolutely fine!! Never be sorry about joining your fellow people. Most of us have been in the same place I'm sure. And joining this club was the best idea. We all I'm sure will support you if you're parents find out. You now have a family here with us.

Wren blushed unable to believe she had just said Stella had a pretty name. She truly thought Stella was a pretty name, but what she really meant was that Stella herself was stunning. Her hair, was the right shade of red, and just everything about her it seemed was perfect. There wasn't a blemish on her face, when she smiled, there were no wrinkle that showed up in the corner of her mouth like Wren's did, and in general to Wren she was perfect.

To cover up the fact that she was blushing, she decided to ask a question.

"So, do you think you'll ever come out to your parents?"

Stella felt her smile return to her face at Wren's words despite the blush that had risen to her cheeks when she'd complimented her name. The other girl was insanely gorgeous, with what Stella initially thought to be a heart tattoo on her cheek, but how would that be possible? Stella was pretty sure first years weren't legally old enough to get tattoos-- and she only knew Wren was a first year because she recognized her from a few of her classes. Maybe it was a birthmark? That would make a bit more sense, Stella reasoned.

She was brought out of her trance of admiring Wren when the other girl spoke again;
"So, do you think you'll ever come out to your parents?"
Oh, boy. Stella had given a lot of her time to thinking about that.. Her mother definitely had her own opinions on the things her father was against, but she never spoke them. She always stayed quiet when she disagreed about anything. If she didn't, her parents argued for hours at a time until her mother gave in and went with everything her father wanted. Taking a deep breath, she steeled herself and looked at Wren with a small, uncertain smile.

"I might tell my mom, in person if I'm ever able to talk to her one-on-one and convince her not to out me to my dad. I'm pretty sure she's chill about it.. I just need to tell her when my father isn't in the room. Maybe when I visit home for Christmas break." She hedged, biting her lip in thought and shrugging.

"That's great! Just know that if or when you tell your mom and or dad, I will support you. I think it's stupid that so many people in this world are against it. I wish they would accept that this is who we are and not something we just decided on a whim. It make's me so mad sometimes. I know that if I told my mom or dad they would both be furious and be so disappointed in me. I just don't want to face that. Anyways, I'm sorry I kinda just started rambling again."

Wren blushed unable to understand why she just couldn't shut. the. fuck. up. It irritated her so much. She was talking to the prettiest girl she had ever seen and she couldn't let her get a breath in. She wished she wasn't like this sometimes. All she wanted, no needed to do was shut her mouth for one second, but she just couldn't seem to do that one simple thing.

"I'm sorry I talk so much. I don't mean to, I just have so much to say about the world. Please forgive me.

Wren decided that she would try her very hardest to keep her mouth shut and let Stella talk.
