Planning the pranks before she actually did them was Gia's absolute least favorite part of the whole long(ish) process. Sure, you needed to know what you were doing before you actually went and tried to do it, but that didn't mean the planning part had to be fun. Of course, it would be very nice if it was fun, but then again. . . well, it wasn't. Not for a certain eleven year old, anyway. The Gryffindor would much rather be actually completing her trick and having it go well, or even just being in the process of setting it up. It was really too bad those steps didn't come first, she thought, even though then the whole thing wouldn't make much sense anyway. . .

Back when she was little, maybe around seven or eight years old, the first year learned that planning was actually the most crucial part when you decided to play a trick on someone. Before that, she'd had many - too many - problems with her pranks because they were never planned out very well. Sometimes, even when she did plan everything correctly, things went wrong. Gia had relearned this lesson a few weeks ago when some Slytherin girl stopped her prank from working the way it should've worked. It wasn't really Gia's fault that she'd decided to play a small trick on her with the dungbomb she'd recently bought, was it? No. . . not really, since there wasn't a way she could control which corridors the blonde decided to walk through.

Gia sighed at the memory. She knew it had been foolish of her to let her guard down when she did, but there was nothing the girl could do to change the past. All she could do was move on. . . and plan everything out to the very last detail. No matter how she felt about planning. That's why this new prank of hers was planned out as much as it could be. Well, sort of. . . She knew not to leave when she began to get bored now, so at least there was that. And she also knew exactly which corridor she would stage the prank in, and. . . yeah, that was all. Okay, so, not perfectly planned. But it was planned nonetheless, and that was good enough for her to begin setting everything into motion.

Walking casually through the halls, the eleven year old tried to seem like every other student she was passing. It was fairly easy, since she'd done it so many times before, but it still made her heart beat a tiny bit faster whenever she attempted it. Who knew if this was the time that everything would go wrong? But Gia had never been the type of girl to keep her mind stuck in such doubt, and the first year pushed those bad thoughts away like she did every other time. Nothing that bad had ever happened because of one of her pranks, not really.

When the Gryffindor student arrived at the corridor that she had chosen a few days ago, Gia immediately hurried into the small cavity in the wall that she had found sitting behind one of the suits of armor. This was the reason she'd picked this particular hallway to be the setting of her prank - it had the most perfect hiding place she'd seen during her months at Hogwarts so far. Instead of the small alcove in the wall simply stopping like the ones in the other corridors on other floors, this particular one went deeper. Much, much deeper, enough that Gia wondered whether it may or may not connect to another hall somewhere. The first year was not going to go too deep, however, since she wanted to see the moment her prank succeeded from up close.

The girl had bought multiple other dungbombs over winter break when she visited Diagon Alley again. Weasley's Wizard Wheezes was very quickly becoming her favorite shop there, with all it's joke items and other fun things. She'd stayed in the shop for at least half an hour picking out all the joke supplies she'd need for. . . who knows how long. Now that she had so many of them to spare, the girl had decided to use the dungbombs, wanting to see the prank items actually work this time, since she'd been quite rudely interrupted last time she tried to put one of those to good use.

On top of all of that, however, she had added a couple special mechanisms to make sure that everything would go down perfectly. A wire had been strung between the two sides of the corridor as well. Yes, she knew that using a wire might come off as a bit. . . well, a bit unprofessional, but Gia had found that it actually was very useful at times. Perhaps that was actually the reason it worked; because everyone was so used to the trick. Oh, it didn't matter why it worked, just that it did. Anyway, when the string was pushed forward by an unsuspecting victim's foot, it would cause a the dungbombs to fall right onto their head. This was where being tucked behind a suit of armor would be helpful, obviously, since she had no intention of being splattered herself. Gia grinned, excited for everything to begin. But. . . of course things always had to become quite complicated.

What was it with dungbombs?

Interacting with @Gia Adelard
Arissa disliked being in crowds. That's a fact, and she has been like that ever since she was little. She prefers having her own space most of the time - with the only notable exceptions were her parents and that obnoxious little baboon who frequented her home on weekly basis, under the guise of a sleepover. Only those people were allowed inside her personal space, no one else.

However, in Hogwarts, that's not exactly what she could actively avoid, as there were many, many students in school and there certainly were times when she'll have to tolerate others, particularly in the corridors, a path where the students often use to get to their next class. During those times, she had tried her best to not display her displeasure so openly by frowning or something similar.

Thankfully, the torture didn't last long, as Arissa decided on changing her direction, towards the rather vacant passageway, unnoticed by others. Finally free from those crowds, it was then did Arissa realised the fact that this passageway was one that she has yet to explore. However, it was good enough for her - a much better choice than being pushed around by the crowd of students despite the mysterious allure it brought her.

When people said curiosity killed the cat, they truly mean it. Arissa had stayed there for a while, but it seemed like the crowd has yet to disperse. It's probably caused by a mix of boredom and curiosity, as the Slytherin found herself walking through the small passageway, which seem to be connected to another main corridor. Along the way, she saw a few doors, but the blonde girl was not bold enough to open any of them on her own, so she left them be. Arissa was approaching the exit when she felt a presence not far away from her location - which was a wonder in its own way, seeing as the only thing she saw was the silent corridor.

Grey eyes wandered around the vicinity, before landing on a familiar flash of brown locks, whose owner seem to hiding behind some metal armor? Arissa raised her brows at the rather unusual sight, before stepping closer to the figure.

Usually, Arissa wouldn't care about other people's business, seeing it as a waste of time despite her penchant for gossips . However, something about that hair screamed familiarity in her head, causing the blonde to disregard her usual style, seeing as she approach the brown haired girl rather cautiously.

Her presence has yet to be detected, as Arissa did approach from the back, but the current distance was enough for her to view the mysterious person's side profile.

As she was close enough, it finally dawned on her who exactly was the mysterious person, with the same amount of suspicion like their previous encounter.

A part of her did want to step back before the other could register her presence, but still, her curiosity at that time was at its peak. She was too bored anyway, so it's better to find some entertainment along the way.

From the looks of it, the Gryffindor girl was up to mischief again, not that Arissa was surprised. Seeing her previous attempt had clearly failed, of course she would attempt another one.

That was when the Slytherin opened her mouth, a mix of amusement and a pinch of displeasure were masked by her dry tone. "It's you again, Dungbomb girl? I see that you have yet to repent from playing tricks after our previous encounter."

"Elegant and unruffled, impassioned yet unmoved...That's what I am, and that's what I must be."

Before anyone could step into the trap she'd set up and get pelted with dungbomb after dungbomb like she'd hoped for, Gia heard soft footsteps echoing in the passageway behind her. Spinning around with a very annoyed expression on her face, the young Gryffindor wondered who it was that had decided—whether they knew it or not—to distract her from her grand pranking plan. Upon coming to a stop in her small spin, however, Gia immediately realized who it was. Of course, she thought bitterly. Who else would it be?

"Ah, Miss Arrogant Princess." she replied. "What brings you here? Spying on me? Planning to ruin my plans once more?" She assumed the other girl had at least some idea of what she was doing, and this guess was confirmed by what the Slytherin said next. "Repent?" Gia mocked, making her voice a crude representation of the other first year's. "What eleven year old—besides you, obviously—talks like that?" It was almost as if there was a professor hiding in the Slytherin's mind, the Gryffindor thought to herself with a smirk.

While waiting for the other girl to reply, Gia glanced around the two of them. Miss Arrogant had come from behind her, which meant that the small, tunnel-like corridor in the walls must lead to another hallway, just as she'd originally guessed. That could cause a few more problems than she was expecting, the eleven year old thought, her expression souring once more. Oh well. Hopefully not everything would be ruined, even if the fact that nobody knew where she was hiding had already been.

But honestly, what was it with dungbombs? And how was it even remotely possible that both times she'd planned a prank involving them, the very same blonde Slytherin had arrived? Was she stalking her or doing something else equally freaky? The brunette didn't know for sure, and she didn't think it was the latter, but you never could know for sure. She did want to find out, though, and decided that she was going to try and do just that until someone came along and walked right into her trap.

"So, you just. . . came here on some whim that there was trouble?" asked Gia, her tone much cooler than normal. "If so. . . you must not understand that it simply isn't your job to go looking for troublemakers. We do have Prefects here, you know, and you certainly aren't one." The remark was sharp, a little stinging, but Gia made sure her voice was as low as possible when saying this. She didn't want anyone walking down the hallway where her trap was set to hear voices and become suspicious. No, no, it was much better for the victim to wander into the area without paying too much attention at all.
