They said ‘third time’s the charm’. Was that the reason why a certain Ravenclaw wanted to start a business in the beauty industry all of the sudden? Of course not. She did it because the slimy creature caught her interest for some reason. Slugs were no stranger to Aurora. The memory of her first time vomiting the snail without a home still lingered in her mind. It was during the shovel errand with none other Violet Carrington. A spell they supposedly made the Slytherin paid the price for stealing Naomi’s name backfired terribly. A quite unexpected meeting with the Gryffindor nugget replayed the same thing. Though, the only difference was she willingly did it to herself as a solidarity action. As expected, most people in Hogwarts were more on the ungrateful side. Instead of a big nice hug, that seeker beater threw her to the ground in a smackdown style. Despite the unpleasantness, it was also the time where the girl came up with her brand name, Slugora. Thanks to Nicholas' presence, maybe? While the others thought it was quite abhorrent, it was much better than her encounter with some people, or most people, really.
As long as the Herbology Professor didn’t know about her amateur business and mini slug farm, she probably will be safe. The idea to conjure a flame towards the tiny creatures was inhuman. How could someone do it without feeling the heartbreak in the process? Yes, they destroyed the ecosystem with their slime, but let’s pretend that they don’t. The rest of the slugs were out there in the wild, while two of them were kept inside a container, big enough for them to walk around, not that they were able to, with ventilation on the lid. Leaving them without a name was out of Aurora’s character. Sally and Sloppy. Such creative names. Books are usually out of reach. For the sake of the success of her first try ever in entrepreneurship and the skill of possibly training an army of slugs, the pink haired girl spent days walking back and forth to the library after the disastrous summer camp. Who would have thought a slug could make Aurora put her feet inside the land of dust? Oh, and books. Sometimes the young girl tends to forget the existence of knowledge inside that place since they were covered, buried deep in her asthma trigger.
Truth to be told, this was a nice distraction from what had happened. If this will be a huge success, galleons will come raining in her backyard. If not, won’t be a problem as well, she could just use it on herself. But before jumping into a life changing decision that has a chance to irritate her skin, a poster was made and taped outside an empty classroom for anyone who wanted glowing skin, brighter than lumos maxima to come and be her guinea pig. One pump bottle filled with slug mucin, some pages of hand drawn slugs as presentation properties, informed consent papers, were laid on one of the tables. Not to forget to mention Lucifur, the cat who was excited to see whatever his owner was doing. What a supportive little furball.
All that was left to do was to wait for the victims to enter the room. Will they leave the room with soft skin or irritation? Only time will tell.

Interacting with @Aurora RanvierIt was a nice September day as young Alice wandered the halls of Hogwarts, her signature chunky colored scarf wrapped loosely around her neck. She had promised herself that she would explore as much of the castle's grounds as she was able during her time here, and she intended to get a head start, even though she was only a first year. She chewed a piece of bubblegum as she walked, taking in everything in the halls of the old castle. She wasn't exactly unnoticeable as she explored, given how tall she was for a first year standing at 5'3; as well as her wild, bushy, mahogany brown hair. Her glasses were taped together in the middle as she hadn't yet quite mastered the repairing charm, but that wasn't something she was going to let bother her.
During her wandering, a poster taped to the wall outside a classroom caught her eye. Slugora? Whatever could that be? Seems like it was some sort of skincare product or something. That wasn't necessarily interesting to Alice, because she'd rather just roll around in the dirt or something as a form of skincare, but the promise of chocolate frogs was enticing to her. She loved chocolate frogs. Maybe this could be an interesting way to spend an afternoon. She made her way into the classroom curiously.Words: 222

@Michael MillerThere was not much time that had passed as the young amateur cosmetologist prepared the classroom with so much enthusiasm until a girl with bushy hair appeared soundlessly. And she was a giant, standing even taller than the boy of her dream. The sight was quite intimidating as the second year was a lot shorter than the person in front of her. Aurora let out a little sharp breath but quickly went back to her usual self. “O-oh! Hello! Are you here for my Slugora experiment?” If the tall girl would confirm, she would continue, “You're the first one to come! I’m Aurora, Aurora Ranvier, a second year Ravenclaw and welcome!”
Greetings, self introduction, what next? The soon to be victim was unfamiliar. Maybe she was a new student, with long bones. Biting the inside of her mouth slightly, the pink haired girl mentally tried to remember what she prepared a day before. Her fingers tapped the fabric of her skirt while both eyes wandered around the room as if searching for something. Then it finally hit her, the informed consent paper. Swiftly, she grabbed one of the papers and gave it to the participant. “Well, for legal purposes, it would be much appreciated if you sign this paper before we begin, it’s basically just a proof that you are agreeing to be part of this without my force.”Little did the four eyed girl know that underneath the visible words were written another sentence using a fluorescent ink where can only be seen with a ultraviolet light. But of course, it was certain nothing bad will happen. Right?I, ___________________ (Name, year, and house)

Interacting with @Aurora RanvierShe gave the other girl a bright, gap-toothed grin when she spotted her, nodding when she inquired if she was here for the slug experiment. The smaller woman seemed quite nervous, which was kind of confusing for Alice, given that it was her experiment in the first place. Maybe she just wasn't good with people? That was fine, Alice didn't mind one bit! She nodded her confirmation. "I sure am!"
"I'm Alice, by the way. Alice Grimmshaw. I'm a first year in Gryffindor! My sister is in Ravenclaw, actually, and so was my dad." she paused when Aurora started speaking again, taking the paper and beginning to sign it as she continued rambling. "My mom was in Slytherin and I think she's dissapointed that none of her children are slytherins, even though my borhter hasn't started Hogwarts yet but everyone knows he's going to be a hufflepuff. Although I think it'd be funny if he ended up in Slytherin or something." She changed the topic of her speech without even a little bit of a pause. " You know, I've never put slug slime on my face before. I've had mud on my face before plenty of times, and also dog slobber because dogs are the best, but never slug slime. It sounds like it'll be fun though."Words: 219
