Continued from the Griffindor Table
Jay was confused when Gray suddenly grabbed her hand, she dragged her down the corridors. Jay couldn’t help but to smile along with the expression of confusion, Jay had never been in a situation like this. They have never had someone hold their hand, compared to theirs Lily Grays was warm and nice... Not cold like their guardians, or cold like their own hands. Who would ever even become friends with Jay and have a moment like this? Jay then started to speed up with Gray, i must be the luckiest person alive to hold her hand..
Just then, Lily Gray pushed them towards an open window that showed a very radiant sunset. So many colors and shades of oranges, yellows, and purples, and blues! Jay loved sunsets. It was a beautiful moment of everyday, and of course jay hated sunrise. Every sunset would indicate the transition of day to night, Jay loved the night, it was also very pretty. The day would hide all of the pretty stars lurking in space, and sunsets were the most perfect thing that would happen for night to come.
“Hey— the sky is as red as your hair!” Jay joked with a real, and happy laugh. They knew that they were still holding Grays hand, but Jay wanted to stay in that moment. A rare happy moment.

Lily Gray’s hair wasn’t the only thing that was bright red, her Face might as well have had flames covering it. Quickly turning her face away from Jane’s few she attempted to hide her bright red cheeks.@Jane Victoria
“Yep, just like my hair!” Lily said quickly while trying not to get their attention. Tightening her grip on Jane’s hand she turned back to look at the Sunset. It was one of those Sunsets that looked like fire was lighting the skies. It even looked like someone threw buckets of paint on the skies and smeared it with their hands.
“so, I saw that you read the book I gave you, that’s good. Did you like it!?!” Lily chirped nervously, while giving them a wide smile. Before Lily turned her attention away she had just realized something... Jane was smiling too. It wasn’t one of those sarcastic smiles that they normally gave to those they wanted to start a fight with. It was one of those smiles that made their eyes sparkle like a hundred little stars, or how their ears stuck out more and turned a hint of pink at the tips. And for once Jane didn’t look like they wanted to beat the crackers out of her.

“I didn’t like it! I loved it! You must understand how much I love dragons, I find them amazing and interesting,” Jay said, “Had you ever wondered what’s it like to be a dragon that can fly anywhere at anytime?“ they asked her, dragons were such beautiful yet dangerous beasts, just like roses, or a snake. “It must be so peaceful...” Jay added quickly just to stop themself from rambling on about dragons. It was so sad that sunsets could only last for a few minutes and then the world is engulfed by stars and darkness.
Jay was staring at the sky, that would be such a great painting, maybe they should paint the sunset and give it to Gray in the future! Perhaps they should also ask Lily if she wants to sneak into the astronomy tower later on so that they could both look at the stars and Jay could show off their constellation skills and impress Lily Gray. Yeah, they should do that later, that was a great idea. Jay turned away from the sunset and looked at her, “Would you like to look at some constellations later at the astronomy tower?” Jay asked hoping that she would say yes.

Letting go of Jane’s hand (sadly), lily crossed her arms and faced them while trying to hide her grin.@Jane Victoria
“Are you kidding me, dragons are the only creatures that are even capable of being better than Thestrals. Especially the Ukrainian Ironbell, they’re the best!” Lily blurted out, quickly placing her hand over her mouth and letting a giggle slip out. oops. Lily was beyond happy that Jay loved the book she had gotten them.
“Would you like to look at some constellations later at the astronomy tower?” Swirling her hair between her fingers, she gave Jane a quick nod.
“ Of course, we could go now? But I’m pretty sure we will get caught and have another detention. I don’t know if you remember but the astronomy professor was the one who gave us detention last time.” Lily stated as she glanced down the hall to see if anyone happen to over hear what she had just said. Lily wasn’t normally a trouble maker, but Jane had so many ideas and we had so little time. Looking back at Jay, Lily gesture For Jane to lead the way to the Astronomy class room.

“And I’m pretty sure we will be much more sneaky about it so that we don’t get a detention!” Jay said with excitement building up in them. Jay looked at the last flames of bright orange and reds as they disappeared into the mountains ahead, it was quite a sad moment but soon the stars will show their beauty along with the moon. They got up and held out their hand to Gray, “So... Wanna do some do some mischievous stuff,” Jay said as a way to say ‘do stuff before they head to the astronomy tower’.
“I think we ought to check in at the Griffindor common room before we do anything, or else those prefects will notice and then we’ll get into trouble... What do you think?” They asked with a flame of adventure in their eyes. They were determined to not get into trouble, they didn’t want Gray to get sad if for getting into detention again. And Jays reputation was already rising as ‘the troublemaker’. In just the first few weeks jay had gotten two detentions! And then when they became close to Lily Gray they got another one! This time there wasn’t going to be disappointment.

Smiling at Jay she grabbed their hand, glancing toward the fading sunset that once colored the skies she started to wish that she didn’t have to leave the window that Jay and lily were standing by, she wanted to stand here and watch an immortal sunset with them. Placing her other hand onto the glass she watched the last of the beautiful sunset fade away and the Mystifying night appear. Turning around she Fallowed Jay while clutching their hand.@Jane Victoria
Smiling up at Jane she nodded her head in agreement at the idea of mischief. As Lily let Jane lead her off to the dormitory. Letting go of Jay’s hand she wrapped her arm around Jane’s arm instead and attempted to drag Jay down the hall to go faster. Considering that Lily was twice at small as Jane, Lily could only go a few steps before she lost her breath and let go of Jay. Turning around she smiled while trying to catch her breath.
“Welp, there goes that idea, maybe you should be the one to lead!” Lily chirped happily. While still breathing heavily she started to fallow Jane down the corridors once again. As they headed for the Gryffindor Dormitory Lily Secretly hoped that they could get away with this, no detention included.
