The breeze was light. The sun was just rising. The time was perfect for a stroll. Felicity had taken up the opportunity, and was just leaving the castle to walk along the trail. She wore her blonde hair up in a loose ponytail, pulling it all back from her face, her eyes a little dull compared to usual. She was tired, and homesick, but hopefully this walk would cheer her up. At least a little bit. She shoved her hands into her robe pockets, grabbing on to her wand and keeping it in her grasp for comfort.

Hogwarts was slowly becoming a place that she could call home. In due time, she supposed, it would be. Just not yet. She sighed, looking around her at the scenery. The hills of Scotland have always been such a homey feeling for her - she should be just fine knowing that she was never too far away! Despite that, she couldn't shake it off. She missed her mum, her dad, her brother. Sure, her twin sister was with her at Hogwarts, but it wasn't enough familiarity for her.

The dormitory was quite nice as well. In fact, it was where she felt most comfortable throughout the whole school. She had her own bed, with her own trunk underneath it, and muggle clothes from Aberdeen malls tucked inside said trunk. She should be fine - especially since she got to wear pajamas from home as well. Yet...

She pursed her lips, sighing, and wandered over to a grassy area nearby. She checked to see if the soil and green strands springing up from the earth were dry before sitting down. Her sitting position soon morphed into laying down, and staring up at the lightening sky, counting all of the clouds that she could see floating across the sky.

Soon enough, her homesickness would be gone. She would just need time to find a family within her circle of friends at Hogwarts. She had already met a few people who seemed promising. Ryan Brixton was the first person who came to mind - and it could have been because she had a developing interest in him. She got nervous just thinking about him, and turned her thoughts to Dymphna Teague, and Ben Eckenrode, two Ravenclaws she had met. She would be just fine.

"Are you okay down there? Do you need medical attention?" Luella asked, staring down at Felicity. Evidently having also decided to 'take a walk,' Luella seemed to have come from nowhere, though really she had been following the entire time. Despite this, she looked utterly uninterested as she stared down, half wanting to kick the girl to make sure she wasn't dead. Clutched in her arms was a bundle of textbooks that were crudely tied together with rope, as well as her wand.

Luella's robes carried no sign of her house, though with the whole sneaking-up thing one could probably work that out for themselves. Her uniform skirt and knee-highs we're visible from beneath her robe, which was tied closed only at the top. She wasn't entirely certain of her own motives for following Felicity herself. Perhaps it was the aching loneliness she felt at being entirely cut off from her friends and family, or perhaps, more likely even, she actually want to kick her in the head. It scared Luella much to realize she didn't know the answer to her own question.

"Luella," she said, reaching out her arm to help Felicity off the ground, clearly not realizing that she had layed down on purpose.

Zoning out was one of Felicity's few talents. She could zone out of a situation for hours it seemed, and then snap back into it just as easily. That would explain why she didn't hear Luella asking if she needed medical attention, or if she was okay. She let out a breath as she looked up at the sky, but soon enough, her line of vision caught sight of the dark-haired girl coming up to her. Felicity looked up at her curiously, then smiled a little bit as she stuck out her hand, introducing herself.

"Oh, don't worry, I don't need help up," She mentioned, but reached up to grab the girl's hand anyway, giving it a small shake, "I'm Felicity Greenwich. Pleasure to meet you." She introduced herself, then dropped her hand back down to beside her on the grass once more. "I'm just cloudgazing, I suppose, would you like to join? It's not too bad, actually. I've never done it before." She mentioned, pulling the sides of her Ravenclaw robe over top of her stomach, covering her pleated skirt and white button-up, which was accented with a blue and black tie.

She had become accustomed to the uniform. She didn't quite mind it at all, in fact. Her robes also made it difficult for Felicity to get grass stains on her shirt, which was something that happened more often than she would like to admit.

Luella sat down beside Felicity, but didn't say anything. She had intended to come out and study, at least until she had seen this girl going the same way. Setting her books down in front of her, Luella crossed her legs and looked up to the sky. She wrapped her robe, (which was a few sizes big on her,) around herself like a blanket, glancing over a few times at Felicity.

"They're just clouds," she said, her voice practically monotone. Luella stayed there for awhile in silence, flipping through the pages of Hogwarts, a History (which she had finished three times now.) "I guess they are  quite pretty, though." She glanced over as she spoke, grinning. Luella pulled a pebble from her robe pocket, setting it on the surface of the book. "Wingardium Leviosa," she whispered, swishing her wand gently. Luella watched as it rose, a look of apparent disinterest on her face as she moved it around in the air. A few weeks ago such a thing would have shocked her - this place was definitely getting to her. She flicked her wand towards Felicity sending the small pebble hurtling towards her leg, and repeating the incantation once it landed.

"Sure, they may be just clouds, but they're quite interesting, are they not? How much they can carry, and they're so light. It's odd." She finished, a slight force against her thigh causing her to draw her attention away from the sky for once, looking over at Luella, who had taken Felicity up on the offer of sitting next to her on the grass. She had heard the incantation for the spell, Wingardium Leviosa, but hadn't expected her to toss the levitated object her way. Seeing that she was levitating the pebble once more, Felicity grabbed a pebble of her own, sitting up properly now and shuffling backwards to sit next to the black-haired girl.

 "Wingardium Leviosa,
" She chanted the charm that she had learned earlier on the pebble in her hand, a small smile on her face as she flicked the want Luella's way, causing the pebble to fly into her thigh as well before dropping to the ground. Felicity rose an eyebrow at her, twirling her wand between her fingers, which she had retrieved from her pocket moments earlier. "So, which house are you in?" She asked, seeing no exact sign of where she could be sorted anywhere on her. Perhaps she didn't get sorted? Then again, she could only think about how the only person she knows of. that didn't get sorted into a house, was a squib. Considering she could cast the charm, she doubted that this was why.

"Did you not get sorted?" She asked, curious.

"Of course I was sorted," Luella hissed, catching the pebble in her hand. Her voice was much livelier than it had been, but she sounded somewhat angry. "I couldn't not be sorted, that isn't how it works... I just choose not to assosiate with that - that... Nevermind," Luella tossed the pebble away as she finished speaking, turning her attention back to the pile of books in front of her. She pulled a particularly heavy book onto her lap and began idly flipping through the pages with her wand. It was a book on transfiguration, and probably should have been well above Luella's level, though she made no sign of this being the case as she read it.

"What's it like?" She asked, keeping her gaze locked firmly on the book. "In Ravenclaw, I mean. It really can't get much worse than living in the dungeon," she continued, not-so-subtly giving letting her house slip. Her stomach grumbled, an unfortunate side effect of her whole studying-all-day plan that she had put in place. Taking out a leather-bound journal of sorts, Luella began jotting down notes as she read, ignoring the hunger building up. She was quite used to it by now, even just on her first day she had skipped the feast to sulk about her house, (what a brat.)

Felicity couldn't help but begin to feel a little stupid in sorts, but she pushed that side of her down, continuing to be the bubbly, talkative girl that people around Hogwarts have come to known. She didn't let her smile falter for long, and she watched as Luella turned to a large book. Reading over some of the words, Felicity was easily able to recognize it from their Transfiguration class - probably her worst subject. She wouldn't be surprised if she got a Troll..

"Oh, so you were sorted into Slytherin, then.. And you don't like it?" She asked curiously, just trying to get to know the girl better, really. She didn't want to make her angry, but she can't quite forsee (HINT HINT OF WHAT'S IN STORE FOR LICITY) the way that people would react to what she says. "Ravenclaw is pretty alright.. The people are nice enough, and I fit in quite well. I was lucky to get sorted into the house I wanted, I guess. It seems that a lot of people aren't too happy with where they get sorted." She said with a small frown, shrugging her shoulders, "But, oh well, the Sorting Hat is always right, despite people's wants.. It almost sorted me into Gryffindor, actually." She laughed a bit, then looked from her lap to Luella. "Where did you want to be sorted?"
