Tea and Tales
This thread is private to Anatole Evans, Khris Bailey, Ami Procoppio, and Cecily Quinn.
Set in September, school has just started.
The sun was shining down on the girl's face, warming her skin. Since the new school year had just started, why not bring together a couple of people you know and get to know them a bit better? That's exactly what Frost did.
She had chosen a few people that she would like to know a bit better, as she thought they were pretty cool people with personalities you couldn't find anywhere else. Two boys and two girls. A little time out in the sunshine couldn't hurt anybody.
Frost sat down on the quilt she had laid out earlier in the grass. The girl sighed and picked a small white flower and twiled it in between her frail. fingers. She had set up a little area for meeting. A tea party type of thing, albeit it was more like a picnic with tea. The ginger had learned how to brew a pot of tea from her mother a year ago, and now, she would put her skill to use.
The girl tucked the white flower behind her ear. The leaves of the trees above swayed in the slight breeze. It was quite a nice spot, actually. A little shade from the tree leaves and a nice view of the beautiful lake. Frost had laid the teapot and tea cups neatly, one plate and cup for each person. That is, if they showed up. The girl had only sent the owl to them a few minutes ago, so they shouldn't be long now.
The ginger picked up one of the pumpkin pasties. They came from Honeydukes in Hogsmeade. She popped the small pie looking sweet into her mouth. She had also bought a few cauldron cakes and chocoballs. Just to be some sweets to go with some nice tea.
Turning her head, she saw the figure of someone's body. The girl jumped back a little, having not noticed them earlier. "Oh, dear! I didn't see you there. How long have you been here?" Frost peered at them with her hazel-brown eyes.

Tea and Tales
Frost Cira happened to be a recurring name in her life, and it would either be a good thing or a bad. The girl was sweet and all, but Ami didn't really know her all that well. Hopefully, that would change today at her little, uh, tea party thing.
Ami had never partaken in any tea parties as a child, not even any make-believe ones- instead, she preferred beating it out on a punching bag, or rage-playing her piano to relieve her stress. Tea parties? No, a big no. Thus, it was a surprise to herself that she found herself mentally agreeing to go when the big day arrived, pulling on her usual jacket and jeans.
Just because she was trying something new, that didn't mean everything had to be new. And yes, there was some irony in a vegan wearing a leather hunting jacket, but it was best not to question it.
Tea, however, was something that Ami could appreciate. Even with her childish 12 years of experience on earth, she considered herself fairly knowledgeable on the matters of tea and its basic properties and brewing methods. There was no situation that a cup of correctly brewed tea couldn't diffuse, or so she firmly believed.
England, she knew, loved its "proper tea", none of that tea bad trash that America preferred. Her favorite English tea just had to be Earl Grey or Lady Grey, both wonderful substitutes for coffee. India had its masala chai, a sharp blend of spices that was honestly more milk than anything. China had their Green Tea, Oolong Tea, and Black Tea, with their long-ass rituals and precise brewing methods.
Tea! Tea was an art, as was everything else on this earth. Hopefully, Frost had done it right, because Ami couldn't bear to see this gathering go down in flames. If she was completely honest, she rarely got invited to social events, probably because she was such a killjoy. She was determined this year, however, to plaster on her best fake smile and continue on with her life like nothing had ever happened. Just because she presented it on her face, didn't mean she meant it in her heart.
Spotting Frost on the Grounds, she quietly made her way over, trying not to disrupt any of the other groups littered here and there. Sitting down silently beside her housemate, she watched in amusement as the girl seemed to savor a delicacy with pumpkin as its main feature.
As Frost finally noticed Ami's appearance and was startled a little, Ami only smiled warmly in response. "Only a few minutes," she replied honestly with a careless shrug. "It all looks lovely, by the way," she added, gesturing to the feast spread out before them.
"I wonder when the others will get here? Anatole, Khris, and Cecily, right?" To be fair, Ami wasn't a stalker- no, the letter sent to them simply had all of the addressees' names written on it, as Frost must've just written one letter and photocopied it, or something. While there certainly could be other Evanses and Baileys and Quinns throughout the school, there was a high chance that Frost had been inviting the students from their grade, not the silly little first years.
