Michael hummed as he walked to the grounds, a bag over his shoulder and ideas in his head. It was January 17, the day was nice and he felt good. He couldn't believe so many liked his group truth or dare idea. Being a first year was hard, going unnoticed and all, but that didn't help when his big plans were ignored.
Michael had planned all weeks for this day, happy to finally be able to do it. He had a list of names, and a list of truths and dares. He hummed as he walked through the grounds more, looking for the perfect spot for his group, somewhere they had a lot of room. Somewhere nice.
He saw a nice thing of grass and made his way through the trees to it. He put up a small sign that read, "Truth or Dare Contest Over here!" in randow letters, he thought they were cute. He set out a picnic blanket and sat down to enjoy the day as he waited for his players to join him, maybe they would enjoy the day as much as he was going to. Or maybe not, depends on what they pick. Truth or Dare?

Round One: Truth or Dare?
@Michael Miller
To say Earl was happy would be an understatement. Our tiny boy was practically vibrating with excitement as he walked onto the field, a brilliant smile on his face. He's been up all night doing homework, and judging by the pains shooting up his back, it hadn't been a particularly smart decision. So there he was, about to do some decidedly foolish things in the name of fun.
It took a bit for him to locate Mic, scanning the field as sunlight cast a golden haze over the already brilliantly white snow. Anyone who knew Earl also knew our tiny boy had a ton of trouble seeing anything in the distance. The amount of times he'd been moved up to the front of the classroom so he could see the board was starting to get embarrassing. Finally, he located his friend's blurry figure, standing beside a sign which had been stuck firmly in the ground. Mic had found a space where there was relatively little snow, and was standing proudly waiting for people to arrive. A mischievous smile came upon Earl's face.
Making himself lighter to the point his footsteps barely made an impression on the sun yellowed grass, Earl took a huge detour, sneaking up behind the other boy. Three steps away. He was holding his breath. Two steps away, Mic still hadn't noticed. One step away, he could have reached out and tapped the other boy on the shoulder.
He didn't do that.
Instead, he launched himself onto the other boy, tackling him to the ground with a hug. For a brief second, he made himself twice as heavy as Mic, giving himself the strength to push the other boy to the ground. As soon as they were moving, Earl changed his weight once again so when they fell and he landed on top of the other boy, he once again weighed barely anything at all. "Ahahaha!" he giggled, pinning the other to the ground. "I gotchu now! This is payback!"

Round One: Truth or Dare?
Truth or Dare?
Too much truth had been revealed in the last couple of weeks. On one hand, Rose had wanted to know it sooner. On the other hand, Rose bitterly thought about how her ignorance was bliss.
Rose hadn't been daring enough in the last couple of weeks, however. Even though she was a Gryffindor, Rose didn't ever think of herself as brave, not in the slightest. Rose might not ever realize how brave she really was, but most of the time, she thought of herself as the opposite of brave- scared. Those weren't true opposites, but that was how our dear redhead viewed them, even through all her years of life. She understood why her friend, Scarlett, was brave. And why her old friends Aurelia and Mystery Anne were brave. She even knew how Eyre was brave. But she doubted it whenever she looked at herself. These last few days, she had not felt confident in anything she had done- she was answering less questions, doing less extra credit work, and not doing things with her friends as much. Let's just say her self-esteem had plummeted.
Anyway, she had signed up for this truth or dare thingy to keep her mind off the things that had been happening lately, and since she knew some of her friends were doing it. When she arrived at the place, and saw the sign that Michael Miller, the instigator of this highly-possible-to-be-dangerous-but-fun event, had set up, indicating that she had come to the right place. Unless this was a different truth or dare.
The snow crunching under her footsteps, it came into view just in time for Rose witness Earl, who she knew to be a friendly first year, throw his entire weight onto the host of the event. Rose cocked her head as they went tumbling toward the ground. It looked more like a hug than a tackle, but it was definitely a tackle, so maybe it was both. She was not aware of the reason the pink-haired boy did this to his small classmate, but as she squinted at the pair from about ten paces away, she saw Earl was definitely smiling, so it was all in good fun.
Rose sighed loudly, standing a few steps away from them giggling in the snow. "Boys," she said sarcastically and teasingly in their direction. "Always roughhousing." Rose was just teasing them, but boys always seemed to be more physical than girls, at least on average. There were exceptions, of course, and Rose was not one to stereotype anything- not gender, race, houses, blood status- nothing. Rose tried her best to avoid those kinds of bias.
It was cold out, but not as cold as some days, especially because the sun was shining, providing some more warmth for the students of Hogwarts who would be participating in Michael's event. Rose had bundled up anyway. If it warmed up a little bit, she could always remove some of her extra layers. If it was too cold, she couldn't just conjure them out of thin air.

Truth or Dare.
Callista hadn't really played much Truth or Dare before. Actually, she's never played Truth or Dare before. But in one of her owls to her family that she had sent, her sister had ordered her to go. She had said that "you spend enough time by yourself. It's time to have FUN!"
Now she was dreading signing up. Who knows what sort of things she would have to tell or do? It seems like she was taking all sorts of risks these days. She reminded herself that it was all just games... nothing serious would happen. Fidgeting with her sleeve, memories of the Hunt flooded in.
Had that been safe for students? Eleven and twelve year olds?
Callista shoved it out of her mind. It wouldn't help anything to dwell on the past. Still, she couldn't stop fussing with her sleeve as she walked to the meeting spot outside. The sparkling water did nothing to ease her nerves.
However, when she turned her eyes on the host of the event [Michael Miller], she saw a pink-haired boy [Earl Gray] tackling the first year. The second of surprise passed quickly as she caught sight of the smile on the tackler's face. It was a cute sight, and her own smile tugged at the ends of her lips. She seemed to be quite early, since there wasn't that many people here yet.
The pink-haired boy [Earl Gray] was a Hufflepuff Callista had seen around the common room. He wasn't hard to miss, with that bright hair. But she also spotted a different Hufflepuff - the first one she had met.
Annie.
She had seen the third year prefect [Annie Morgan] around, and she could still remember the day she had walked into the tent at summer camp. She had been shy, quiet, and generally a bookish introvert. Callista was aware that she had come a long way from that.
She fingered her cherry wood wand, tucked with care inside the pocket of her robes. The wand had at first felt unnatural to her, like something out of a play. As time went on, she had become keenly aware of the raw power pulsating through the strip of wood.
But as she slowly adjusted to the wand, she could feel the bond between them. She had heard of wizards and witches thinking of their wands like an extension of their body. Callista doubted that she would ever have that kind of kinship... but maybe the doubt was what kept it from happening.
Either way, it was more the bond between colleagues. She trusted it to do what she asked, and it trusted her to guide it properly. So far, it had been cooperative. Mostly.
Pulling herself back to the present, she studied Annie more closely. Something was... different. Callista squinted, but couldn't make out the older student's face. Either way, she decided to wait under a nearby tree until the games start. And hope that she won't be in danger from this.

Round One: Truth or Dare?
Open to interactions.
Truth or Dare was a game that was not foreign to Simon Kincaid. He had played it at a couple of school dances here and there and sleepovers with friends. Sometimes it was innocent and all in good fun and other times it could get a little sketchy, a little on the edge of crossing the line. Perhaps that was the fun in it, one never knew exactly what they were going to get when they committed to play.
Simon walked through the grounds of Hogwarts, sighing softly. He had sunblock on so he smelled of coconuts and all things tropical and his sweatshirt hood was pulled up. Again, he thought doing some sort of activity outside schoolwork would be fun until he realized that, yet again, it was outdoors. Oh well. He knew y now within his eleven years that the world didn't cater to those with Xeroderma Pigmentosum. It was a rare disorder, one that only 1 in 1 million individuals got. It was bothersome because of the burning, the redness, but it was also a little worrisome because it could increase one's risk of cancers. Still, one afternoon out couldn't do too much damage, could it?
Hoping not, he continued on. Even for someone who loved learning as much as he did, and wanted to take in as much in about the magical world as he could, could only stand sitting in the library so long. This was a time to see some of his friends who would surely be there and perhaps even make a new awuaintance or two. Sometimes you had to just do it and not live your life as this fragile little glass flower, waiting to be broken.
As he drew closer, he saw two things that caught his eye. The first was the rainbow letters that read "Truth or Dare Contest Over Here." The color made it pop among the earth tone colors of the landscape that surrounded it and he smiled some. He knew Michael Miller had been the mastermind behind this idea and as always, Simon was fascinated by the boy's massive planning and attention to details. It ensured that he was in the right place and he didn't even need to ask all others in the sprinkling of students that were already here if they were here for the same thing. That was his answer, loud and clear.
He also saw that there were some trees in this area of the Grounds and for that he was thankful. This meant he could prolong his time out there that afternoon despite his condition; or at least his thought to be condition.
Ever since he was an infant, he would scream when in the sun. At first his mother appeased him and tried to avoid it because truthfully she was just trying to get by best she could as a single mother of 17, freshly graduated from Hogwarts herself, with her parents having both passed recenetly in an accident and also taking care of her 14 year old sister. Within the next coming years, additional problems always surfaced and Simon's aversion to sunlight seemed to fall on the back burner until his mother fell sick herself and knew what it was like to experience medical test after medical test and didn't want that for her son. A doctor had mentioned the genetic skin disorder of XP and it was just taken as fact without any test for proof. Little did he know that it had nothing to do with that as these were muggle doctors, after all, and instead it was due to the fact that Simon, still unbeknownst to himself, was a dhampir.
He took a seat under the tree with the most shade cover, a little difficult to find in mid-winter but he found it nonetheless.

Round One: Truth or Dare?
Volunteering to join a truth or dare game was not exactly something Henry usually did. He enjoyed games and fun, but he had never had friends who wanted to play truth or dare. Still, he had been a little intrigued by the description of the event, so he supposed he would give it a try. He knew the basic rules of truth or dare, but he had no idea what kind of truth or dare was going to happen. Daniel and Diana had told him all about truth or dare as they played it with their friends, a lot of giggling and talking about crushes. Was it going to be like that? Henry didn’t have a crush, he didn’t think. It was a new concept to him, as he hadn’t really been told what it felt like to have a crush before meeting someone in the owlery who explained it to him.
Taking a deep breath and chasing these thoughts out of his mind, Henry made his way to the are where they had been told to meet up. The grounds were rather expansive, so he had been wandering for a while and still hadn’t found it. It wasn’t like him to bail on anything, but he was debating just not showing up if he couldn’t find the location. It wasn’t like questions about crushes scared him….Perhaps there was something else he could do with his free time.
Upon this thought, Henry realized he had a load of homework to do. He shivered at the thought of sitting still in the common room, looking through books and writing things out. The thought alone was enough to give him a boost in his pace. He’d find this place or he’d die trying. Henry laughed a little at this internal thought, realizing it was a bit dramatic. Still, he would rather not be doing homework right at that moment. He pushed on across the grounds, noticing a few people headed in a specific direction. On a whim, he headed in the same direction, through a few trees and to a spot where a boy had a picnic blanket laid out. There was a sign nearby announcing the location as the spot where the truth or dare game would happen. Smiling to himself, he came right up to everyone else, tucking his hands into his pockets.
It was a little chilly out, but he had compensated by wearing one more layer than usual. Henry was always prone to the cold, usually wearing more than one layer while still inside. Even sitting by the fire, he usually had something with long sleeves on. He mum said it was because he was skin and bones, that he had no natural insulation to keep him warm. Henry never argued with his mum. So, he had to create all that extra insulation that he didn’t have using sweaters, coats, and jackets. Which made for a rather cozy Henry at the moment he approached the group, smiling at them all and giving a small wave. He recognized a few of them, but he hadn’t officially met any of them, really.

Round One: Truth or Dare?
As much as she liked arriving early to events, times were changing and it would be a shocker if she made it to activities at all. @Callista Lovis a first year she had a few interactions with subtly approached her a few days ago and asked her if she would like to do Truth or Dare. Sounds like fun and I should get out of the castle instead of staying cooped up in the dorms. On that note she nodded and looked forward to it.
Well that day had finally arrived. She had asked Calli to give her dorm room door a little knock on it to let her know she was headed out. Upon hearing the knock Annie sprung up from her seated position on her bed, tightened her scarf, zipping up her jacket (with minor struggles of finding that dang zipper) and and pulling down her fluffy Hufflepuff beanie over her ears so that only her nose poked out from her warm outfit.
Annie fumbled with the handle on her door before awkwardly shuffling out. Callista's footsteps slowly got farther away so Annie scurried behind her to keep up, unknowingly to her she narrowly missed a wall or two. The tapping of the footsteps kept her in line, turning only when the sound changed direction until her feet met the squishy grass. Callista's footsteps had disappeared by now making her a little nervous until she heard other voices. Well she had got to the meeting spot which was a good sign.
The only trouble now was trying to figure out who was in her group and where everyone was if they had even arrived yet. It wasn't too loud so maybe they were early. Annie snuggled down into her fluffy jacket and stood at the outer edge of the group before sighing. "Well to anyone and everyone who is here, I figure I should introduce myself, if you don't already know me my name is-" The brunette took a step forward and extended her hand but before she was able to finish her sentence her foot slid out from under her and she fell in slow motion. A small yelp was heard from her and she landed on her hands and knees. She shakily stood up and brushed herself off, having a few muddy patches on her knees now. Instead of extending her now muddy hand to the others she retracted both hands into her pockets. A small blush crept onto her face as she finished her previous sentence, a little quieter this time. "Annie Morgan. Pleasure to er meet you all."
Well she definitely had made an entrance, she somehow always seemed to either by being loud, clumsy or in between. The girl doubted that would be the worst experience yet though since the games hadn't even begun. Truth or Dare. Why had she signed up for this again? Not only can't she cast spells and be useful to her team in that way but they were also down a pair of eyes. Bless them for even wanting her on their team. Either way, she was going to work hard to gain them points no matter what. Her stubbornness would be the death of her, blind or not.

----------
Stanley had no idea why he had signed up for something that could destroy his social life before it even started. He was definitely was too scared too ever do a dare and also did not want to answer any truths. There had been a spur of the moment that had caused him to write his name down on the piece of paper that would probably be the worst decision he could ever make.
"I should have brought Big Ted." Stanley whispered to himself hugging his arms around his chest wanting to feel the teddy bear's embrace. He had decided that it was best if Big Ted had been left in his dorm instead of bringing him to a place full of people he didn't know. "No, he will be fine. Big Ted does not define you." Nodding his head slightly, the soft voice came out of his small mouth as his arms tightened.
The walk down to the grounds was quite a quiet one. Normally, there would be not many thoughts circling around his head. Instead there were millions of ideas and possible conversations that filled his ears. It was unbearable. How on earth was Stanley going to get through the day without crying in front of people because of the pain it was causing him?
A cold shiver went down his spine as he trudged down towards the area Truth or Dare was being held. Stanley had to prepare himself for the worst. What was his deepest secret? Could he actually do a dare that contained a spell? What if it got too cold during the game? Would they all freeze to death? Every possibility had to be thought through thoroughly.
There was no turning back now as he stumbled upon the area that was going to hold the contest. Stanley had no idea what was in store for him and had decided to keep as quiet as possible unless someone directly started talking to him. It was the best idea possible. "Why did I sign up?" He mumbled to himself continuing to keep his arms around his chest.
Looking up from his feet slightly, Stanley noticed not many people had arrived yet. He must have been early. Earlier than he had hoped. The boy stopped walking and stood still around a few feet away from some people under a tree hoping that no one would notice him just yet.
He normally would have been very patient but since Stanley wanted to get the round over and done with as quickly as possible, it was a different case. His feet rapidly tapped the ground waiting for the chaos to start. His arms still circled around his small body while a hat lay on top of his head, hiding his slightly pointy ears, forcing bits of longer hair to fall into his eyes. Stanley let out a shaky breath eyeing up the smoke that escaped his mouth before squishing his eyes shut just wishing he was in his dorm room cuddled up next to Big Ted while looking at Polaroid’s of his Dad.

Round One: Truth or Dare?
[font=Copperplate Gothic Light]
"Truth or dare, isn't that the Muggle game, really, what hard could it be?"
Those were the words that Everly said, and those were the words that she'd probably regret the day of the game. From what she heard, the game was some weird thing that always would up to have something to do with crushes or weird teenage mushy stuff. Either way, by now she was seriously starting to wonder what the game would really be like. Although, she wasn't quite familiar with the concept yet, hopefully she'd understand soon. By what means are you required to answer such questions if you picked the "truth" option, anyways? And how were they going to play this game in the first place?
Nonetheless, here she was, running down the Hogwarts grounds to meet her group as she'd been arranged in. Stumbling over her steps as she ran but gracefully (at least she thought gracefully) trying to fake not doing so. Everly spotted the large sign and changed directions, moving towards the area. Coming to an abrupt stop in front of the other four members, breathing heavily and taking a charming bow, she huffed out, "Hi! I'm -" huff "- Everly -" huff "- and you're my groupmates, right?" A final huff and a sigh of relief, and the girl let a pleasant smile rest on her face, taking one last rattling breath.
She would probably have to rethink running down a hill like that again.
"Anyways, I guess I'm excited? Never really played this game before, but I've heard about it. Seems a bit cliché to me, but I guess I'll find out today." She said, pouring out her thoughts about this from last night all out in her introduction. Realizing that she was probably talking too fast, she slowed down her rapid-fire talking and decided to let the others talk. Tilting her head as they did, she tried to figure out where and how she recognized them. One was a first year Hufflepuff girl, Everly didn't know who she was and couldn't register her face in her mind. Another was a Hufflepuff prefect, Everly had seen her around but didn't know her name, much less her personally. She introduced herself as Annie. And then, the third member of the group was a member of the Hufflepuff Duelling Team, Everly had seen her before but couldn't quite place her. Lastly, Eliza, who Everly could remember from the train ride in September, but hadn't talked to since then.
"What are your names?" Everly asked, looking at the three members who hadn't yet introduced themselves. Then, taking a step back, Everly looked around to see who else she recognized, other than her group. There was Rose, and that pink-haired boy who she had seen around, but other than that, there wasn't really anyone who Everly recognized who was there.
Yet.
She turned back to the four other members of her group with a big smile on her face, clapping her hands together. "So, who's excited?"Action: Greeting her group members cheerfully, getting ready

Round One: Truth or Dare?
Paige was beginning to wonder why she did this. Sign herself up for things, to be exact. SO many things. It was a lot of stress. She told herself after the prankster club she would stop. But nooooo. She signed up for 3 more things since then! It totally wasn't her fault! They all seemed so interesting! When she saw the sign-ups for massive truth or dare, she was as helpless as a hungry fish who never learns its lesson about random, easy to catch, bait.
She sat inside, tieing her blue converse. She brought her right leg down from the chair and lifted her left one. She tied it and than grabbed a mini bag and headed out. She waved to a couple of her mates, but she wasn't to be distracted. Her thoughts were racing all around about how much more of this she could handle.
But she wasn't feeling regret. At all. She was feeling excitement and anticipation for what was to come. As Paige walked out, she couldn't help but feel a bit... proud. They got this! By they, she means the three musketeers, or whatever they would call themselves.
Her, Simon, and Katie.
Woo! Paige had put sunblock on because she knew it would be sunny and she had light skin. Not like Simon, of course. She made her way outside. She squinted in the sunlight. She placed her hand over her eyes so she could see much better. She looked around, but not for long. A very colorful sign caught her attention. She smiled and shook her head. She was glad she wore what she did. Royal blue yoga pants and a white shirt, but she also was wearing a sweater for now. She wasn't feeling very hot. She didn't know if they were going to be working a lot, so that was why she wore what she did. Her hair was in a ponytail. She had a little bag slung over her shoulder. It contained water bottles, sunglasses, sunblock, and a first aid kit.
She also brought three bracelets she made. They were matching blue and gold bracelets. Paige really liked blue and gold.
