Percival frowned to himself as he looked in a pair of bushes. Uncertainty drew at his features when the object that he was looking for was nowhere to be seen. In truth, it had mostly been Percival's fault. He had wanted to spend the day outside. A chance to truly enjoy the last bit of nice weather before it became far too unbearably hot with the approach of summer. It had seemed like a good idea to bring Pom with him as well. The thought of sitting underneath the shade with Pom resting nearby was far too good to be true.

In truth, it had been going fairly well. His back had rested upon the bark of the tree, and while it wasn't the most comfortable feeling he could make due for the chance of fresh air. Percival had let Pom rest among the green grass that surrounded him. Before, he got hopelessly lost in the book he had brought with him. Time trickled by like the sands in an hourglass. The boy barely took notice as he read.

Percival brought his hand down onto the grass where he knew Pom would be. Though, his hand hit the soft and spikey texture of grass rather than the familiar feel of his pet. The boy's eyes widened as he turned to look downward. Building panic set in as he noticed that the spider was nowhere to be seen. Percival sat up quickly his book falling into the dirt, and he could not find it within himself to care. Everything was meaningless with Pom missing. All that mattered was finding his pet as quickly as possible. "Where could he be?" he muttered to himself as he parted some ferns to look amongst the leaves.

A walk along the outskirts of the forest were the tallest of trees grew and provided the greatest amount of shade is where Falentra preferred to wander during these hot days. They provided a nice cool breeze-- not enough to send shivers down your spine, but enough to cool you from the humidity that lurked the air.
There was nothing out the ordinary on this walk. It was like any other. Reggie was restring, rather than clinging with dear life, with having gotten used to being perked up on her shoulder as the pair walked aimlessly ahead, enjoying the solitude and sounds of nature.

A crack, and then a rustle came from not far in front. It was enough to slow the Slytherin's pace and cause Reggie to raise his two front legs-- his usual attempt at trying to come across scary. A small smile crawled across her face as she noticed his stance, though it left just as quick as a few mumbles were now heard in the same direction as the racket from earlier. She couldn't make out exactly what it was at this point, but she knew for sure it was no animal. A fellow student maybe? There weren't many that came this far down, not with this beautiful weather they had. Students were normally out playing, or whatever it was 'normal kids' did during their free time.

Falentra stepped forward with care till the confirmation set in. A boy lurking, no.. searching through some bushes stood before her. What was he doing? His expression seemed somewhat concerned or..worried? He had lost something of value. She had no intention of helping her peer at first, but when she heard the boy mention a he, she had taken a slight interest. He had lost no jewels, no book or homework but instead a ...thing? The girl couldn't resist fighting off the urges no more. She needed to ask questions, be nosey.

''What you lost?'' She blurted out, though making sure to keep her tone on one level. There was no introduction, or sweetness to her voice to make her seem somewhat friendly or approachable, and if there were, her expressions were sure to change that. Dark brown hues scanned him up and down once, taking a pre-judgment on the boy before they scanned their surroundings. Reggie made sure to keep his stance the same, though his legs would move up and down slightly once they approached the boy close enough. ''Well?''

Percival's gaze was held fast to the bushes in front of his face. There were some downsides to having Prometheus. Specifically the fact that he had a knack for getting into the darkest of places and was dark himself. Despite this, Percival could hardly think to ever turn in his prized pet spider. Even when the bloody bastard had decided to wander off on their little adventure outside.

The boy frowned to himself his brows furrowed deeply as he shifted a part of the bush up, As to allow him access to what lay underneath. Despite his best efforts, all he saw was dry dirt and knotted roots. Percival felt disappointment sink in deep as he chewed on the inside of his cheek. Wondering where he should look next. It made sense that the spider could have not gotten away to far, but he had already checked a good deal of any suitable hiding places.

Percival whose gaze was completely focused on the pair of ferns in front of him had not noticed the dark-haired girl walking up to him. The boy jumped up straight a surprised look upon his face. The girl looked to be older than him, and he vaguely recognized her. It was possible that he had seen her in the halls. Though, other than that nothing seemed to stand out to him. Percival felt a frown pull at his face as he studied her for a moment. "Who are you?" he asked his tone sour as he ignored the girl's first question.

He was not too sure what her intentions could be. She didn't seem as if she actually cared if he had lost something. So why had she stopped to ask in the first place? The boy found his gaze drifting to a rather familiar shape on the girl's shoulder. Percival found his interest peak as he turned his gaze back to her. "My spider...he decided to hide from me. I noticed you have one as well maybe you could tell me where he could be hiding." he said his tone ever so slightly hopeful.
