After the Slytherin v Hufflepuff Quidditch match | PV @Erin Ryan
There was a few minutes at the Graduation party during second year where Dymphna actually thought of Erin as a decent person. She quickly proved herself otherwise after Oliver bumped into them. Things escalated from there and her cousin Hjørdis and Professor Browne had to step in and take care of things. It was an embarrassing event that perhaps she would be able to laugh off later. For now though, she preferred to pretend it didn't exist (after apologizing profusely to Reid, of course).

The blonde thought that she could avoid Erin, and it did work for a while. At least, until the Slytherin match against Hufflepuff. Dymphna mainly went in support of her friends who were playing but also curious to see how other house trainings were going. It didn't take long for her to spot Erin in the air, her purple hair being the main reason. Her screaming being the other - she made it obvious to everyone who she was going after, and that person was Reid.

It didn't matter which team won the match. Dymphna was furious. Why wouldn't Erin leave Reid alone, something about him being part of that crowd? Whatever deranged things the Slytherin thought about him, Dymphna knew it was wrong. Reid wasn't in on some grand scheme. He was only trying to regain some normalcy after the disaster of the Hufflepuff Campout, to make it through school in one piece. It wasn't some conscious decision to seek Erin out and get revenge for Reid. He wouldn't have wanted her to do that for him anyway - he fought his own battles.

Dymphna couldn't remember exactly how the match ended now, too caught up with how Reid seemed to be targeted by bullies more often lately. Why weren't they seeing him as she did - fiercely loyal and kind? They must not know him at all, she thought to herself, making her way down towards the pitch to get some practice in. That's when she spotted Erin. Her wand was out on reflex, feeling that she was a threat. Anyone who was a threat to her friends was also a threat to her. Yet, she couldn't act first or she would get into more trouble. Hell, she didn't plan on actually doing anything. Maybe just threaten her a little?

Provoke was more the word. It took her a good few minutes to put her wand away, quickly shoving it behind her ear for quick access should Erin attack her. It was incredibly stupid to even speak to the other girl but Dymphna found herself moving towards her anyway. She wasn't much of a chancer, didn't like to take risks but here she was, standing before her. The other Veela noticed her there, she had to or she was as blind as a bat. Was she waiting to see what Dymphna would do or say? Through gritted teeth, she finally spoke: "Nice weather today." It came off angry and rightly so. Her fists were clenched.

Why hadn't Erin Ryan been expelled from Hogwarts already?

The match was over, the game did not last very long. battered and bruised, the part-veela would retrieve her bluebottle from the ground and stretch her back. She could feel all of the vertebrae crack and pop as she bent herself back as far as she could. The armor and the pain limited her. The Hufflepuff Team seemed to focus her after she took out Kovacs. Not that she blamed them, while she was well known, people often underestimated the strength of some girl. No matter, she stretched her shoulder and felt a fresh ache that caused her to hiss in pain. They got her good, that one was going to leave a bruise.

She did not trust the staff in Hogwarts. She had no intention of seeking treatment, be it a salve to ameliorate the pain or something to expedite the healing process. It was too dangerous. They were everywhere. However, Quinn Healy took a bludger pretty hard and the ground was even harder. His ass was not going to be getting outta bed for a bit she reasoned. Her plan was simple, take a shower and get changed. Then find Healy in the medical wing where she could finally extract the truth from him once and for all.

Or so she thought.

Plans never go as they planned. A pretty Ravenclaw, she thought she might have recognized her. Faces and names were starting to get a bit blurry as of late for the young Slytherin. She pulled out her wand, the wizarding equivalent to a knife. Fucking shit.

"Nice weather today."

The blonde announced. Erin was unarmed, wands were not allowed on the pitch. She let out a sigh. "Looking for a fight?" She shook her head. "Not interested," Erin claimed. She was curious, what the hell did she ever do to the blonde chick? She looked at the girl's expression, she seemed pissed for whatever reason. "I am not interested in your boyfriend or whatever the hell it is that you're pissed off about," Erin added as she tried to verbally defuse the situation. She had other places to be, none of which involved this girl.

Erin was going to try to walk away from the irate teen, unaware that the vendetta she harbored was not for a supposed paramour but rather one of her enemies. Erin would turn her back to Dymphna and walk away. She would give a casual wave. "If you're still pissed at whatever, you can try to kick my ass after I look in on Healy."

Just a trick of the lighting they said...
