Name of Ability that you Are Applying for: Lovely Creature
Describe why this fits your character (not why you the player want it): Growing up Tyranni always had a way with persuading people to do things for her, but she always thought it was due to some innate ability to say the right thing to convince others to help. That and she was an incredibly adorable little kid. It was not until second year at Hogwarts that she realized she might just have an aura around her of beauty. Was it her icy blue eyes that melted the hearts of even the hardest walls to breach surrounding some ones soul, or the way her hair flowed around her shoulders? She had made a few friends growing up, but took her time to choose those she surrounded herself with carefully, as she had always noticed glances from those around her. Assuming it to be due to her often-unusual appearance, always wearing something to remind her of her Norse ancestry, she felt uncomfortable and took on the place of the reserved, back of the room observer growing up. Whatever the reason for this attention, she was still not used to it, nor did she necessarily want it. However, being the loner with minimal friends during first year, it couldn’t be bad to have some attention. Maybe she would make some new friends.

Regardless, she knew that her looks were a blessing from the gods, as her mother goddess Freya was known for her beauty and power. Always striving to emanate the traits of her gods and goddesses, she embraced this gift. Who was she to deny the gods gifts? Starting second year she would attempt to use this trait to her advantage, having slowly realized that the glances from others were not always full of hidden snickering and judgment, but thoughts of interest or confusion as to why they just couldn’t look away.

It was time for Tyr to embrace this revelation. In order to achieve her goals, to embody the power of Hel herself in life, she needed to use her assets to her benefit. Whether she choose to use her looks to find companions she could trust and confide in, or she uses them to manipulate those she needs to get her way, she would begin taking the time each day to make and effort in her appearances. Ultimately her decision to befriend or use someone would depend on how the person responded to her. She was very gracious, giving people many chances to prove their benefit to her and earn her trust. To those who chose to become her enemy, by the gods will she would see to use her abilities against them.

Describe why it Fits my Character

[quote]The Dubois family have always prided themselves in a pure bloodline but there have always been exceptions. Beauty and strong, magical prowess are also coveted traits within this family and it is not unheard of for magical creatures with strong pedigrees to be assimilated. This is how Jean Dubois found himself pursuing and courting Valerie Hemstaff, a Veela that he had met during his travels in search of exotic and rare magical plants. It wasn't an easy courtship, with a woman so beautiful there were countless suitors, but his ambition and charisma won her in the end and he was quick to whisk her away to France to marry in the traditional, pure-blooded fashion.

Andre and Zacharie Dubois are both males but possess an elegance and beauty that cannot be defined as masculine nor feminine. Andre, the eldest, was born with white-blond hair and soft, green eyes, taking after their mother. Zacharie, on the other hand, takes more after his father with his curly, ginger locks and his piercing, icy blue eyes. While he is still growing, his body is soft and willowy with the promise of a growth spurt to get him to his mother's statuesque height. Amongst his plants is where his beauty shines most and the house staff have claimed to feel a warm, inviting aura about the young master as he walked the family gardens, a trait that he seems to have inherited from his mother, who grew up in the untamed beauty of the mountains of Bulgaria. His grandparents have described him as an "understated" beauty (unlike his older brother), something comforting and familiar that brings a sense of peace to those that choose to take the time to unravel the icy exterior.

While Andre has voiced his amusement with his effects on the people around him, Zacharie has found nothing but annoyance. When you are treated as an adult by the people closest to you but cooed at and fawned over by distant relatives or family friends it all seems a bit...much. As a shy boy that preferred to keep to himself and his studies, the attention his allure brings him is a constant struggle, though he doesn't seem to understand how it has gotten him out of trouble on more than one occasion. Was it not better to be judged on the merit of his skill and by his personality than by his appearance? Because of these rather subtle lines in people's interests, he has a hard time taking people at face value and can be quite distrustful, even if the person has good intentions. He is deeply loyal, however, to those that he deems worthy of his attention (a trait that his brother teased him as being inherited from their mother). His temper often gets the better of him, much like his mother, and fits of annoyance are common when he is pestered too often or bogged down with silly little rules that he feels should not apply to him. He is not unreasonable, though, and is surprisingly unbiased when it comes to his own feelings.

I originally designed Zacharie as Half-Veela because I thought it would be an interesting hurdle for him to overcome in terms of how he interacts with his fellow students and how he perceives himself. Striving for acceptance among those who hold prejudices against half-breeds and seeking to prove himself as someone that is more than his beauty, he will have a difficult time learning to trust others as well as himself if he wants to reach his full potential...which he desperately does. When people thought of Jess Malters, they didn’t think of anything all too spectacular. There was no definitive image, no idea of excellence, that came to mind along with the thought of the girl. Though, if they really thought about it, those people would find that no trace of hatred came along with the name, either. They would find that the idea of this girl, this Jess Malters, did not stir up any discomfort or uneasy feelings, as they just couldn’t think of a reason to despise or fear her. Really, if they thought back to their prior interactions with the child, really thought and remembered what they had felt at the time, they would realize that when around her, they had had no cause to feel discomfort.

Maybe this was because of the kindness Jess tried so hard to show to others, or her inherent care for those around her. Although the girl did find herself occasionally lapsing into moments of judgement and she surely had the capability to be momentarily mean or hurtful towards others, she did all she could to keep this part of herself locked away from the view of the outside world. In truth, Jess really just didn’t have the heart to hurt others. It might feel good in the moment, of course, but the girl’s chest would start feeling heavy soon after the incident, almost as if a weight of shame and regret had been placed upon her heart, and it would stay that way for many hours or even days to come. For this reason, and for the general desire to be remembered as someone who brought light into the world rather than darkness, Jess Malters was generally as kind to other people as she could possibly be.

People didn’t always note the girl’s desire to be not just kind, but good, but they would later find that they had accepted this reality of the child without quite noticing it. They felt, as they talked to her, that she really meant them no harm, and so they felt themselves calming down around her. When with Jess, people felt as if they were at home. The girl didn’t realize she had this effect on others, of course, as people with similar characteristics often don’t, but her calming presence stayed present nevertheless. Had the girl known about her peculiar way of spreading joy through others, she herself would doubtless be filled with glee at the final realization that she really did belong, she really did do something to help others, she really did make them happy. That she really was, in the end, a good person.

Many people had always thought of Eleanora as a kind, sweet girl. Their memories of her were filled with peacful, joyous times. Nora couldn't help it, thats how she was. She was brought up that way, to be a nice, good-natured child. It wasn't hard for her either, a simple smile or a caring manner was muscle memory.

Some people say she got it from her mother, living with a gracious and carefree soul like hers would surely rub off on her child. Eleanoras mother, however, came from more of a strict family. Not to say that having a strict family is bad and all, but through all the pain and struggles Eleanoras mother went through she would always see the light in things. That's why Nora looks up to her so much, not just because of her loving nature but the positive attitude she has for everything.

Nora, nevertheless, hadn't quite catched on to her 'aura' of sorts. She didn't notice the once annoyed faces turn to calm expressions, or a stiff, uneased person relax into a tranquil composure when around her. Not until she was around the age of 10 did she start to notice. Her father had arrived home one night, beyond irritated and tired. It was the type of irritation that would go away in a few hours after a good nights sleep. Eleanora thought it was best to take things into her own hands and try to cheer him up herself. It took a lot of thought on what could make her father happy so she ended up marching her way up to him to give a gigantic hug. She didn't have much hope in her solution so she was beyond surprised to see her fathers happy face and calm, relaxed composure once she walked into the room. Eleanora remembers the exact moment his shoulders slouched, wrinkled lines smoothed out and his voice turn to soft. It was like she had flicked a switch. Then she noticed that it happened often when she walked in a room, people would stop and smile at her.

If asked, people would comment Nora on her easy-going, calm exposure and her soft, delicate voice. It wasn't often, a very very rare occurance, to hear a negative remark on her. Although, many individuals found her kind and calm they didn't find her all out-going or amazing. They just thought she was a nice person, average at the least.

DESCRIBE WHY THIS FITS YOUR CHARACTER.
A peculiar group of people, the Deathstouts. If not for their overwhelming obsession over greek architecture and insistence on staying studious, it was for the fact that they never seemed to.. leave their home. Gwenivere Eleazar had always been a private woman, the only seeming reason for this being that she was pretentious and just didn't care to give someone else the time of day. Men often fought for her hand, while the other women envied her. She withheld a certain beauty not caused only by her looks, but because the mystery surrounding her seemed to attract others even more than it already had. Though as wondrously as she arrived, she had disappeared without a trace.

Upon meeting Chandler Deathstout in 2003, Gwenevire hadn't known what to think of him. It seemed he possessed the same type of mysterious effect as she, but his seemed colder, scarier even. Her attention was hardly ever grabbed, so to say the least his entire existence intrigued her. She found herself following him from pub to pub, yet acted casual if she were ever to be spotted. Her plan seemed foolproof, yet the young vampire knew. However, Chandler decided to only push her away, as what would she think of someone after his secret got out? Gwen still persisted, leading up to the event of even following him home. A rather creepy thought, but they were friends so it wouldn't seem too out of place, would it? It was a risk she had been willing to take, a risk that she also regretted immediately upon acting on it.
The scene she witnessed was rather gruesome, as walking in on a Vampire during it's feeding is certainly a perilous sight. Dead on the floor, lie the carcass of what appeared to be a doe. However Gwenivere did not scream, she hardly did anything for that matter. Chandler, frantic and unprepared, was forced to explain. He had no legitimate excuses to provide, as he would never be classified as a man who slaughtered animals for sport. What would she have thought if it was a human?

Years passed, and the two friends seemed to had made an agreement to never speak of the night again. Soon enough, Gwenivere and Chandler had become romantically involved, marrying in the year 2007. Only then was it a year later that they gave birth to a healthy, beaming baby girl. Well, would healthy be the way to describe it? Sickly pale skin, a shade that would be closest in comparison to ivory white. Her eyes seemed to be the most odd, though, as they were a light shade of grey, practically silver. The two parents had expected this, the likelihood of their child being a Dhampir far greater than anything else. The only natural thing about her seemed to be her fiery orange hair, but even this was peculiar amidst it all considering both the parent's were jet black.

The Deathstouts had attempted to put their daughter through public education, only for it to backfire horribly. Within her first year in grade school, other children began to make note of Valencia's odd and unusual features. Immediately upon hearing about the issue, Gwenivere insisted on teaching her from the comfort of their manor. Throughout her growing up this is how Valencia was shaped into the person she is today. Frightening, and well, a pretentious know-it-all.

Thora was far more friendly with failure than she'd ever wished to be. Failure was repulsive, disgusting, something she'd always attempted to avoid with all means possible - and yet, it was always in constant pursuit, ensnaring her at every turn. It was evident in all the little, cast-aside things which were little more than garbage. Every ripped-out painting blotted with raindrops, every scrap of parchment with scratched-out topic sentences, and even every long-forgotten mental reminder was proof of something that had gone quite badly. She was often met by shortcomings, or mere shadows of what she'd been planning. Of course, this was only expected, her being human and prone to mistakes - but that didn't mean it wasn't annoying. Somewhat.

Despite her perfectionistic tendencies, those small little issues weren't a real problem. They were irritating, yet still tolerable. What most certainly wasn't acceptable, though, were the big mistakes. The mistakes that did far more than cause her grief, but rather affected others. After all, to put herself through a little discomfort was no big deal, but to be at fault for someone else's struggle was always a sticky situation she tried to avoid at all costs. Well, surely nobody really enjoyed being at fault for anything at all, but Thora's naturally guilty conscience put extra emphasis on every little slip that caused others even the slightest annoyance.

She hadn't been able to claim a first string spot on the Slytherin Quidditch team with the initial try-outs, and though she had been taken on as a reserve, she needed practice. It was evident from day one that she was not only unfamiliar with the game, but possessed no impressive amount of hand-eye coordination. Her early days of Quidditch saw a considerable amount of humiliation, lots of missed saves, and on many days, a miserable Thora trudging up from the pitch after a long practice session. Anxiety mounted every time a match loomed on the horizon, and she began developing a tendency to work herself to the limits, attempting to practice alone and harder than ever to prepare for a slim chance she may have to play. She'd swallow it down once they were on the pitch, of course, as it was only natural for some troubles to be forgotten with the adrenaline that came with Quidditch, but that didn't settle her fears of letting her team down. Humiliating herself was one matter, as it was bound to happen in one way or another, but to fail her team would be unacceptable.

So with that in mind, she resolved to work harder, to practice more. Even if she weren't to play, she ought to be ready for anything; keeper wasn't a position highly targetted, but people could be unpredictable, sometimes. Well, that had been her thought process in past games, at least - to be prepared for whatever transpired in each game. Now, though? The short period between Slytherin's last humiliating defeat and their upcoming game had seen the roster shaken up, swapping around a few of the players, Thora being one of them. After being benched for the last four matches, first as a reserve beater and then as a keeper, she'd been switched to chaser - and a first string one, at that.

Despite the initial shock, she'd quickly realized that with the next match so near, this was no time for celebration of any sorts. No, she had to train, of course. Months of preparation to play as keeper had improved her blocking and overall accuracy, true, but chaser was a fairly different role. After all, she wouldn't be guarding the hoops, but rather shooting at them. And so, with the days ticking down far too quickly until their next match, Thora began spending every spare minute at the training pitch, tossing the Quaffle towards the hoops until her arms grew leaden with fatigue and her hands numb with cold.

It didn't seem to be impacting her performance, at first, and to add to that, she seemed to awaken every day even more exhausted than she'd fallen asleep. Discouragement threatened to set in, but Thora refused to let herself fall to such depths. If anything, she'd always been determined, persistent, and never one to give in so easily. Practice meant improvement, after all, and even if she wasn't the best chaser on the pitch, which couldn't possibly happen due to her amateur status, she was set on coming out of her intensive practice better than she'd entered.

It was not much later when Thora was finally rewarded for her frantic training, presenting itself in the form of impressive improvement. Naturally, she was still prone to missing once in a while, the Quaffle veering far off its intended course, but most times, she found herself watching happily as it sailed through the hoops. It wasn't nearly as perfect as she liked things to be - and to attain that goal probably wasn't realistic, anyway - but even she couldn't deny that she was performing considerably better than before.

And as it would turn out, her training didn't only apply to the times where she flew above the pitch, Quaffle in arm, but even in spellcasting. It seemed far-fetched, but in tossing balls, she really was only improving her hand-eye coordination and control. It wasn't just how well she could toss a Quaffle, but rather how well she was able to direct things towards a certain target. Sure, she had little chance to prove her improvement in spellcasting accuracy, not being a duellist and therefore being fairly limited in practice with her wand, but somehow, it was getting ever so slightly easier to control her spell direction.

So, perhaps practice didn’t make perfect, but enough of it could certainly make a considerable development in skill. Besides, it was time for Thora to realize that perfection ought not to be her expectation, but rather a goal. It was undoubtedly one she'd never reach, being only human, but at least it would encourage her to strive to reach high. Such an idea might've previously been difficult for Thora, an extreme perfectionist, to accept, but now, it was a method tried and true.

Description:
A lot of changes had been happening to Howard ever since his turn to Dhampirism. The first was obviously his physical appearance. Once lively skin was now void of color, as if all of the blood had been drained from his body. It left him looking more like a corpse than a living being. The crystal blue irises he inherited from his mother had faded away. It was a small change at first as little blotches of crimson starting appearing in his eyes. Like an infection it quickly spread and permanently changed his eye color. His regular human nails had split and fallen off as his nail bed deepened. Elongated and discolored nails would grow in their place. Howard's teeth would also fall victim as his human canines fell out to leave a recess in his gum line. Deep within his skull the sharp teeth of a predator would grow, plunging through his gums when the hunt called to him. However, these physical changes would not be the only thing to develop within Howard.

His very senses would be transformed by his new nature. As the predator within him grew it heightened them in every way. His hearing would grow sharper to better help him locate potential threats or prey. Where most might turn on a swivel at the sound of a twig snapping in the night, Howard was able to pinpoint the location with accuracy. His sense of smell would be heightened too, allowing him to be able to track his prey even if he could not see them. After spending enough time with people, he would be able to mark their scent. Both friend or foe alike could be detected almost immediately if he knew them well enough. However, although this new nature had honed many of his senses it would not come without consequence.

As Howard’s flesh changed it became increasingly sensitive to sun light and light based magic. This meant that if he went outside during the day it could only be done so with uncomfortable heavy clothing or slathered in thick protective creams to protect his skin from burning. As time went on he found himself staying inside during the days. The most comfortable places for him were areas of the castle that were windowless as even the the lightest of sun rays were enough to irritate him. During most of his free time he could be found in the basements or dungeons of the castle as they offered him a reprieve from the heavy cloaks and hooded clothing. If not there he would lock himself away in his windowless private room in the Hengist Home dormitory. Although these place meant safety from the sunlight, it did mean that Howard spent most of his time in dark or dimly lit places. Most might find the lack of light very uncomfortable but he adapted and it even came with a small benefit. After spending so long in the shadows his eyesight was able to adapt to darkness very quickly. Where most might not be able to see, Howard was able to make out his surroundings. Quite helpful for a person that was becoming more and more nocturnal.

STATUS: Approved
Mod Edit 07.02.21: Blindvision does not enhance the sense. The ability is there to reflect for example an affinity to adapting to darkness based on living in a darker country where not much sunlight comes through or on the other hand to be able to memorize very well where something is. Blindvision is not a special heightened sense or a type of sonar. that would enable the person to see in the dark. As Dhampir and the way you describe the ability, it would be a type of sonar or special senses. While it does make sense to have some sort of Blindvision, we have to stick with the way we handled this ability in the past. Maybe you find a way to describe it as adapting to the darkness not because your Dhampir status changes the eyes but because you changed your way of living due to avoiding the sun.

Perfection is something Leonard has aimed for his entire life, something inherited from his mother and uncle and only amplified by his father's stories of pronunciation mistakes in incantations that ended with someone ending up with a goat standing on top of them. The very title of a perfectionist is the pillar of philosophy he built his life around, always aiming to be the best for two reasons: for satisfaction of his own sky-high standards, and for the satisfaction of knowing, indeed, he was truly better than others. Whether it was in a science fair with the stakes of a painted-gold trophy or a showoff of baking skills to the newest addition of Oaksworth Bakery's staff, who most likely didn't even know they were in a competition with the boy at all, he would strive to win. To outdo.

(And if you asked him, he absolutely won that pie-making race with Owen Harrington. That dolt Owen decided to forego five grams of flour, as if that would make no difference to the customers.)

Time, to him, is nothing but an extra measure, one that doesn't matter until ten minutes before it runs out. Quality over quantity is a saying ingrained in his mind, his belief only deepening with evidence it worked in the form of trophies gained and laminated certificates. Of course, the first place certificate was only narrowly won, for his last-minute tinkering was almost quite literally during the last minute, but his memory was selective when it came to that part. All he knew was that his method worked. Aiming to reach perfection, no matter how many discouragements were shot at him because there was really no need for it, worked.

If one were to observe Leonard during classes at the castle, it would be an easy task to find the muggle maxim's influence on his style of spellcasting. The world around him dissolves to a blur, nothing more than silhouettes and distractions he didn't have time for. As far as he's concerned, nothing other than the instructions, the standards, and the wand he's holding exist. There is no room in his head for anything other than the motions and syllables to say, and so he practices. He traces the outlines of the needed gesture on paper, again and again until the paper nearly gets punctured by the tip. Then, he enunciates, again and again until his ears are numb to the sound. By then, most of his peers would have already finished off their work and reaped the reward, but he doesn't care. He just needs to make sure he won't end up with a goat on top of him.

And once he finally does cast it, it is nothing short of excellent, a straight jet of fire or a brilliant stream of green sparks. Perfect, as he wishes it to be.

The King Family was known to be in higher class levels. The manor included many things. Some might think Jenny's favorite would be the rehearsal room, but no. Her favorite place was the garden. There was much green in the garden. Sometimes Jenny would nest pull the pink petals off flowers because they were too obnoxious. But the real reason why she loved the garden had to do with Salazar. No, not that Salazar. The actual snake.

Jenny met the snake while she was pulling out the bright pink flowers in the garden. The snake slithered up and Jenny heard the hissing before she heard the words. Meanwhile, her mother had walked out and froze. The snake rose up to face Jenny.
Thankss, those flowers were annoying me... Jenny was shocked. "You speak human?!" The snake made a sound between a hiss and a laugh.
No, you speak snake. Jenny reeled back in shock. "What?! What do you mean? That's not right-" The snake got closer.
It is for some. You must be a parsel. Haven't seen one in ages.

Jenny shook her head. "Insane." She began to walk away and maybe smash her head into some ice-cold water. She turned back. "What's your name? Mine is Jennifer, but my friends call me Jenny."
I don't know.
Jenny scratched her head. "Your name is Salazar. See you around."

From that day on, Jenny would go to the garden every day. Every day she found more bright flowers that Salazar didn't like. "When we first met, you said you haven't seen a parselmouth in a while. Was it someone in my family?"
It was quite a while ago. Hm, yes, I remember. No, no one in your family. But they visited this green area every day and talked to me.
Jenny racked her brain. "My old gardener? She retired a long time ago."
But there was someone I heard about in your family from other snakes... Your grandfather.
"Grandfather?"
The snake nodded. Just then, her mother called her inside.
"Bye, Salazar."

"Mom, why didn't you tell me grandfather was a parsel?"
Her mother was quite concerned. "Have you been talking to snakes?"
Jenny nodded. "Yeah, why? Is there something wrong with it?" Jenny's mother shook her head. "No, no. It's a wonderful talent. Now go clean up, school will begin soon."

Later during her downtime at her manor, she went outside. A group of purebloods who was also taught by Jenny's mother followed. Salazar showed up and saw other people. His forked tong flicked in the air. One of the students stepped forward with rocks.
"You want that snake gone? Get him, guys!" The students would begin to throw the rocks. Jenny spread out her arms. "Hey! Guys, watch it!" The kids didn't listen, they were too busy yelling and cheering as Salazar slithered away.
"STOP IT! All of you! LISTEN TO ME."
All the students stopped flabbergast. " Jennifer? You speak... parsel?"
Jenny nodded. She hadn't realized she spoke in parsel but now was not the time to wonder how it happened.
"Now leave the snakes alone. Forever." They all nodded and walked away.
Salazar turned to stare at Jenny.
Thanks... Jenny.
Jenny nodded, noticing the snake called her 'Jenny'.
"No problem."

It all started with Mikael's family from his mother's part. Helena, Mikael's mother comes from a long and distinguished family of Dhampirs. It all started in the the ancient greece. Then, a Pureblood wizard by the name Thanatos was doing an extremely deep research regarding transfiguration and the dark arts. He, as many other wizards, were looking for a way towards immortality, towards supremacy. Thanks to his innate talents, he learned a great deal of forbidden knowledge from the ghosts of the long dead wizards. After decades of obsessive research, in his secluded manor in the woods, he managed to create a dark ritual of transformation. A ritual which would drain other people of their life force and add it to himself for extending his own life beyond it's natural limitations. 7 wizards were captured and sacrificed during the ritual. But the nature of this spell was so dark that it tainted the man's soul and body, transforming him into a hideous creature. His body was much stronger and more resilient than that of a human. But his body changes were not all that there was to this curse he inflicted upon himself. He lost his ability to cast magic altogether, but in exchange gained many other special abilities.

A century has passed, and Thanatos has learned to live and control his new body, to the point where he could even alter his appearance as he wished. He gained everything he wished for, and immortal body. However, the cost of losing his magic was too great for him. So he decided to find a way to restore his magical powers. He was looking for a way to cure himself partially, so that he may have both imortality and magic. After another 2 centuries of trial and errors, in the pit of despair, he received a revelation. If this body cannot cast magic anymore, he should just create a new one for himself. But for that he needed a wizard. And as such, his target became the Daugther of a Pureblood Wizard Family in Ancient greek, the Thocomerius Family. By hiding his nature, he started courting the woman named Artemisia. After weeks of courting by pretending to be a nobleman, he managed to seduce the woman and convinced her to leave her home with him. Working together, with Thanatos knowledge and Artemisia magic ability, they started to find ways to create himself a new body.

But even after years of research, no progress was being made. Until one day, when Artemisia told the vampire that she was pregnant. At that point, Thanatos realized that his answer was in front of him all along. If a union between a vampire and a wizard is possible, then the resulting child could have both immortality and magic. And as such, The couple started to focus on the child and his development. As soon as the child was born, the couple did their best to examine him. The testings took several ears until the child grew to the age 7. He had all the traits of a vampire but with smaller weaknesses. However, at the age of 7, the boy exhibited the first instance of accidental magic. That is when Thanatos realised that he found what he was looking for. And as such, he started to concoct a plan to take over the boy's body. And as such, what he needed to do was possess him.

For the next month, he was giving his wife sleeping potions, and use hypnosis techniques on her to make her more open to the idea of helping him possess his boy. The hypnosis was a success, and they prepared a ritual spell which would switch their bodies. Alas, due to Artemisia's hypnosis, where deep in her heart she was fighting, and due to the fact that the spell was experimental, something went wrong and ended in killing Thanatos, but the boy was alive and unharmed. It took some years for the mother to recover and they returned to her home in Greece. However, due to the boy being a Dhampir he was discriminated against and after his mother's death he was exiled from the family. For decades he wandered the world, until a fateful encounter with a which from Transylvania.

Another which coming from a Pureblood family. They grew closer and closer together, until she decided to take the Dhampir Man into her family. There they created a family together and so the Vampire lineage started. Along the years, the immortal Dhampirs pulled strings from the shadows in both the muggle and the wizarding world, as their influence grew more and more in the Transylvanian Region. And it continued until the birth of the Dhampir Witch Helena.

Aurelius Rugen, Mikael's father, was an Englishman Pureblooded Wizard with Latin roots, who went into an exploring expedition in Transylvania to study newly found ancient ruins. Then was the first time him and Helena met. As fate dictated, she was send as a supervisor of the exploring team, since the ruins happened to be found in the lands owned by her family. During the adventure inside the ancient ruins, full of traps and secrets, the two started to bond. Even after the end of the expedition, they continued to communicate one with another, until the point where they declared their love for one another. And as such, they married, and Helena and took her with him back to England, where they lived happily ever after, even after Mikael's birth, which inherited his Father's Magic, and his Mother's Dhampir blood lineage.

Mod edit 30.01.21: I won't approve anything until you are added to the Index either way, but your entire app needs to be rewritten. Please read through our Dhampir lore here. Dhampir is not a trait that is passed down for generations.
Reasons I won't approve the app as it is:
- you created your own vampire lore, while creative with Thanatos and the whole being of not dead not living either, we have our own vampire lore already established which everyone has to follow
- necromancy. This is a sensitive topic and if used, it should not be for acquiring mysterious "knowledge"
- connection to Dracula/Bathory. While you are subtle about it, you still claim to be from a noble family of "Transylvania" which is Romania by now. Further claiming a connection to them being lords of Wallachia, which refers to Dracula. -> This is an Index issue either way. There is no outmanoeuvring the rule of not being a descendant of Dracula by just switching to the one who founded the dynasty in hopes we would not know him. We do.
