History/Background Story:

EARLY CHILDHOOD

"Oh, darling, you just know that you cannot be like that and expect to get away with it,"

"I know, mummy, but --"

"You heard your mother, young lady."

Persephone glanced up at her father, frowning. She did not like to be interrupted, even at the tender age of three years old.

"She stole my toy wand !" she screamed. "So I had to punish her, right ? She did not have the right to and it's mine and it's not fair !"

"Cutting the poor girl's hair is not the way you should do it ! You should have told your mum !" her father screamed back. "Now if you don't behave I swear to you that you will not get to play with other children ! And you will not go to school ! Is that what you want Percy ?"

"STOP CALLING ME PERCY I HATE YOU !"

There it was.

See ? That was actually the first time I told 'I hate you' to my father. Not the last, I admit. It is not something I'm proud of, since it's technically untrue. I don't hate him, really. Dislike him, sometimes. He annoys me to death, often. I love my mother best, that's a fact, but maybe it's because my mother has a way of letting me do pretty much whatever I want without being a bore. My dad ? No. He always saw right through me. Always called me on, because he says I make him remember my aunt. She's a right menace, and she's dangerous, he says. I think it's because my grandmother liked her better than him.

Anyway, yes. That's pretty much what caused my fragile relationship with my father to slowly fade. He lets my mum do all the work about me now, and see how it turned out ?

I know I'm spoiled. The girls at the school I went to all said so. Mum made me go to a Muggle school for a few years, she said that they were much more advanced than wizards concerning maths and whatnot. Admittedly, I can write now, and add sums in my head, but I think the Muggles didn't know what was coming.

I scared people because I made things happen. You know what you shouldn't put in a Muggle school ? A self-aware Witch who likes power and how to use it. I'm not afraid of any manipulation, I'm not above it. I'm not above much, to be fair. Whatever it takes, right ? Quite.

I scared a few girls (and boys) to death and I managed to gather some friends, who would've done anything for me in the playground. Like servants. It was nice, but needless to say, I ditched them as soon as I got my Hogwarts letter. I intend to do the same with people in Hogwarts, sure, but it will take a tremendous amount of work - after all, they can't be scared by magic the way Muggles are, since they can do it themselves.

No, I'm going to gain them to my cause with good looks and smiles and politeness. Same with the teachers ; they're not going to see through anything before it's too late and I have them wrapped around my finger.

Oh, and gather information. That's something I'm good at, and I will use it. A lot.

It's on.
