Pre-Hogwarts History

Along the banks of the River Tay, Damien was born nearly on accident.

The second child of Grant and Roseanna, Damien was a surprise to the couple, who had no idea that Rosie had become pregnant once again. In fact it wasn't until she was in the midst of labor, swimming in the river, that she even knew she'd been blessed with another child. She managed to make it to shore, Grant rushing to her side to deliver his second son into the world by the water; appropriate, considering the name they bore. They christened him Damien, meaning 'tame one', for the quietness of his entry and they celebrated his birth with a hastily assembled party of close family and friends.

The older Waters boy, Isiah, was delighted to have a little brother, even if it was one that was fourteen years his junior. Two years later, the Waters family welcomed another child, a girl this time (and born in a proper hospital), named Lilian, and the family circuit was finally complete. It was about the time of Lilian's six month period that Isiah found himself in trouble. He'd always been advanced for his age and, at sixteen, he found himself falling in with the wrong crowd.
