Physical Description
Reem is small for her age, standing at only 4'8", with a build shaped by years of gymnastics — light on her feet, flexible, and always seeming to move like she's still counting a routine in her head. Her hair is a deep brownish-black, usually left loose or hastily tied back when she's in the middle of doing something more interesting than sitting still. Her eyes are a warm dark brown, wide and quick to catch every small detail around her, and a single beauty spot sits on her left cheek — the kind of feature people remember her by.

Personality
Curious to a fault, Reem is the sort of person who asks “but why?” until she gets a real answer. She is whimsical and imaginative, someone who thinks in stories rather than straight lines, and she treats her own mind as a kind of private theatre — most nights are spent daydreaming, building out elaborate scenarios before she ever falls asleep. It is, as far as she is concerned, the one place she is allowed to be completely and unapologetically creative. That same imagination makes her a delight to be around: she is social, quick to befriend people, endlessly enthusiastic about new hobbies, and rarely happier than when she's in the middle of learning something new.
“I like knowing things. But I like wondering about things even more.”

Biography

Long before she knew the word “witch” applied to her, Reem was a fixture of her local Muggle primary school — the girl who knew everyone, the one already signed up for whatever new club or class was on offer. She spent nine years training as a gymnast, a discipline that shaped her more than she probably realizes: the patience for repetition, the trust in her own body, the calm that comes from knowing exactly where your feet are going to land. Outside the gym, her real world revolved around her best friend, a string of summer camps, and an ever-growing list of hobbies she'd picked up and half-mastered along the way.
It was at one of those camps, in fact, that the first real cracks in the “ordinary” version of her life began to show.

First Instance of Magic

Reem was seven, at summer camp, when a group of older kids decided it would be funny to steal her hat and play keep-away with it over her head. She was mortified — furious in that particular, helpless way only a seven-year-old can be, right on the edge of tears — and then, without warning, the boy holding her hat dropped it and screamed. It had caught fire. No spark, no source, no explanation — just alight for two seconds and then out again, leaving nothing behind but a small burnt lump of felt on the ground.
The camp descended into chaos. A counselor came running, her parents got a phone call, and everyone spent the rest of the week convinced it had something to do with the fire pit despite there being no fire pit anywhere near the boathouse. Only her mother seemed to understand exactly what had happened — and said nothing. Reem herself didn't understand it either, not really, not until a letter addressed in green ink arrived several years later and the pieces finally clicked into place.
Family & Blood Status

Reem is a half-blood. Her mother comes from an Ancient and most respectable pure-blood wizarding family, though by the time she met Reem's father she had already stepped outside of that world for a while, choosing to live among Muggles and pursue interests entirely her own. Her father is a Muggle, through and through. The two of them met, settled together, and built a home where one parent could wave a wand and the other spent a good portion of Reem's childhood mystified — quietly certain something strange kept happening around their daughter, without ever having the vocabulary to name it.
