☆ Appearance ☆ Upon first glance, one could see that Kevin is the kind of boy that expresses himself through his appearance by portraying a very "emo" style, usually with accessories like studded belts, spiked bracelets and earrings, and a hint of black eyeliner smudged around his dark brown eyes. His wardrobe consists of mostly dark colours which adds contrast to his pale, light skin. His build is slightly on the thinner side, and his height mostly average amongst his peers. He has black, medium length hair that usually looks messy and covers most of his forehead.

☆ Personality ☆ Kevin always tries his best to look tough and rebellious, though this act easily crumbles to reveal his genuine personality when approached by even the smallest display of friendliness. Underneath a layer of sarcasm and nonchalant behaviour, deep down he is a caring and compassionate child who deeply desires to be perceived as cool. He might act impulsive and defiant to authority at times, though it is not because he has any deep, moral stance or beliefs against them, but simply because he wishes to be "the guy who's not afraid to get in trouble".

★ First Instance of Magic ★ Around the age of eight, Kevin had the habit of pestering his mother about how much he wanted a guitar. After hearing the same "you have to wait until Christmas!" excuse too many times, he ended up having a little angry tantrum and unconsciously made all the lights in the house flicker a couple of times, causing both him and his mother to get spooked for a moment.

〚 Background 〛 Born as the only child of a short-lived marriage between his wizard father and muggle mother, Kevin spent most of his childhood travelling back and forth between two worlds. Whenever he would ask his parents about why they had a divorce, he always received the same, practised, formal-sounding responses. "Sometimes couples decide to go on their separate ways." "Not every relationship lasts forever, and that's okay." Both of his parents could be considered white-collar and middle-class in their own ways. His mother works as an editor for a magazine, while his father works in the accounting department of a company that sells wizarding knick-knacks, though Kevin never felt interested enough in either one of their jobs to learn more in detail. Before Hogwarts, he spendt most of each year with his mother, attending public school with non-magical children. That's where he felt the most at home, getting to have friends who share his passion for things like music, skateboarding and causing mischief. During summer breaks and holidays, he would stay with his father, where the lack of muggle technology leaves him bored and annoyed. Every now and then he would try to convince his father to teach him spells and let him use his wand, though each of his attempts got denied and gained him long, boring speeches about underage usage of magic and being more responsible. For the last few years, Kevin has been very passionate about his music taste, which mostly consists of emo and pop-punk with headache-inducing melodies and soul-draining lyrics. He was also gifted a guitar by his parents after asking for it tirelessly, which quickly became his most beloved posession. Though his self-taught skills of the instrument could be considered "an attempt" at best and "noise pollution" at worst, but he would argue that being noisy is the first step of having fun.
