Evander Harvey Beauchamp was born in London, England, to Theodore and Vivienne Beauchamp; he was the sole male child of a rich wizarding family who were well-known more for their charity than influence. Although the Beauchamps enjoyed all the luxuries life had to offer, Evanderβs parents never allowed money to determine the tone of their house. |

For Theodore, a manβs standing was based on honesty and humility and for Vivienne, kindness was an everyday act regardless of what anyone else was doing or where they came from. The pair taught Evander to treat everyone from the distinguished members of the Ministry to the house-elves with utmost courtesy and respect because being polite in their family was not an act but a matter of oneβs character. The young Evander grew up amidst elegance and routine. His mornings were spent studying etiquette, literature, history, and speaking French and afternoons gave him some leeway to satisfy his curiosity.

He would spend most of his afternoons strolling through the huge gardens of the Beauchamp family with a book in hand; he would then lie under a big oak tree and read till dusk. Evanderβs visits to museums, galleries, and theatres throughout London with his mother helped develop his interest in art, music, and beauty in its entirety. The walks of Evanderβs father took him into
the countryside and taught Evander the importance of listening rather than speaking. Moreover, Evander was told that confidence did not depend on oneβs arrogance and recognition. Evander turned out to be a very thoughtful, well-mannered boy who possessed natural compassion. The eight years of Evanderβs life passed with the company of the kid from the next estate every single day. The kids were close friends and spent their days playing in the woods, creating their kingdoms and thinking that nothing would come between them. 
Evander was sure that his best friend had just left home without even saying good-bye, although he was unaware of the fact that there was a way to keep in touch but it had never been delivered to Evander. Although Evander had the love and support of his parents, something important was missing and it had created a sense of loneliness inside him. It made Evander learn how to protect his heart rather than harden it. For those who would win him over,
Evander was sure that his best friend had just left home without even saying good-bye, although he was unaware of the fact that there was a way to keep in touch but it had never been delivered to Evander. Although Evander had the love and support of his parents, something important was missing and it had created a sense of loneliness inside him. It made Evander learn how to protect his heart rather than harden it. For those who would win him over,however, they would discover a faithful friend, one who showed his loyalty in the way he treated others and with jokes, but also by being there for those he loved whenever they needed him.
