Even though the moon was at its waxing crescent, the room where Elizabeth Rose Moore was in during her labor was illuminated by it. Her husband, Theodore, was holding her hand as she gave birth to a boy whom they named “Aster”, after the tradition Elizabeth has on their family side. Theodore also suggested to add a second name, “Lune” on how the moonlight reflected on their child’s eye when it first open, hence the name “Aster Lune Moore.”
At their early age, Aster has been curious. Especially with their mother taking them to her potion shop. Some days the air is sweet and warm then other days, it’s smoky and sharp which makes Aster nose wrinkles. The colors on the cauldron sometimes takes a golden color, other times they were tinted green.
Aster would always ask to help their mother but they could only do much such as fetching ingredients from the shelves. They would repeat the names quietly to themselves to remember. And sometimes, if they were lucky, their mother would allow them to stir.
When Aster was not with their mother in the shop, they were often with their father as he ran errands to buy ingredients for her potions. They would help point out jars and bundles and whenever their father asked which ones to take, Aster would proudly point to the right items, like the ones they remembered from helping their mother in the shop.
Sometimes, they would travel to visit their uncle (“once removed,” their father always said) to gather special ingredients that couldn’t be found anywhere else. While their father spoke quietly with the uncle, Aster’s Muggle aunt, Olivia, who practiced the Muggle form or witchcraft, would showed them bundles of dried herbs and sparkling crystals that they used for her craft, which resembled potion-making, deepening their fascination with the process.

Aster was six years old when they experience their first instance of magic. After five years of living carefree, every pure-blood child must be start to be tutored at an early age. It was afternoon when their father was picking them up from their mother's shop for their lesson and Aster refused to go and was throwing a fit.
As Aster continued to flail and kick, the cauldron’s on the shop began bubbling and hiss. The flames under burning brighter and hotter, ruining the potions inside the cauldron due to too much heat. Their mother had to close up shop and send notice letters of late deliveries due to unforeseen circumstances.

At their first year, Aster have a medium-length, messy dark hair with hazel, almost honey-colored eyed that they inherited from their father. His skin is fair with noticeable beauty mark under their right eyes which is a signature look from their mother's family.
