Unfortunately, our case commences in much the same fashion. A gun, a girl, a murder. The precious heir of the Argentum family, a promising young witch of silver tongue and brilliant mind, Valour Argentum, vanished on a cold December night, not long after turning 18 years old. In her wake, she left her noble house in chaos and disarray. The victim of this missing persons case was not so much the victim of this series of unfortunate events. No - they were more of a catalyst. A domino in the eventual fall of House Argentum. Which begs the question - how did we get here? And where did this dark knight go? Was this a matter of subterfuge and foul play, as most matters were when it came to such a coveted political family? I have dedicated my life and career to the investigation of this disappearance, and have collated my findings here. I hope one day, I will reap the fruits of my labour. The patient is very notably charismatic, able to command a room and charm all kinds of people. She has a mastery of words and persuasion. It appears however that this proficiency with people is an exercise of the patient's keen observation skills and ability to manipulate her own image. It seems as though the patient seeks relationships based on their perceived worth and earned respect towards others. It is suspected that she has a softness beneath it all.
The patient can otherwise come across as aloof and somewhat emotionally detached, with a very direct and sometimes blunt way of communicating. They are a calm and articulate individual. She appears apathetic and carefree, opting to pursue ideological trails of thought and hedonism. They seem driven by factors such as novelty, excitement and success, as opposed to rules and structure. She is inquisitive, diplomatic and cunning; a typical devil's advocate.
It is evident that the patient also suffers from sleep deprivation, resulting in a level of paranoia. They appear on edge and defensive, quickly turning combative when feeling threatened.
DIAGNOSIS: Unknown
While their symptoms are consistent with severe sleep deprivation and schizophrenia, I believe that there is something deeper at play. I am hesitant to make a diagnosis without further testing.

I know no more of the matter. 🗝𝔒ver time, some Seers are able to harness their prophecies, inducing them when they wish to and in very rare instances, remaining lucid throughout them. The victim appeared to push their body to its physical limits, lowering the threshold between the future and reality and, in rare cases, inducing visions. There is little evidence to prove how effective this method is. This dangerous experimentation involved extreme sleep deprivation, overusing potent sleep potions and creating near-death experiences. 🗝𝕱rom my records, it appears that the victim struggled to differentiate dream from reality from prophecy. Her documented dreams sometimes appear very close in nature to her visions, but often amplify her own subconscious feelings and concerns. These false dreams led the victim astray on many occasions as she mistook them for fate.
