Looks: Azrael is a 4'8, skinny boy with dark black hair, light blue eyes that are bigger than normal, pale skin, small, almost unnoticeable eyebags under his eyes.

personality: Azrael is described by others as "stoic", "hard to read", "eerie" and "calm", he is naturally quiet and pretty literal when it comes to understanding sarcasm or sayings, he has a blank expression most of the time, and his eyes are almost always wide, despite this- he can still look "curious" from time to time (when he's interested in something new) and has a strange "cuteness" if you squint- he is very observant but has a hard time making friends, his eeriness comes from the fact that his expressions barely change (he's always calm), so people often feel unsettled around him and find it eerie.

History: Azrael was born on November of 2013 at the family manor with the help of a midwife, his father is named "Malcolm Holloway" and his mother is named "Lonnie Holloway", Azrael and has family have lived a peaceful and quiet life by themselves on a manor hidden away in the wizarding world, while they come from a long lineage of wizards- they prefer to live peacefully in solitude, and barely go out (which as a result caused their pale skins), they have a VERY strong dislike for sunlight and prefer to stay indoors if possible; Azrael and his parents are very close knit, and they care deeply about each other despite being so stoic; Azrael doesn't have any siblings or distant family members, it's just him and his parents and it's always been that way- his parents are estranged from their parents and no longer talk to them, as a result of this, Azrael's parents are very overprotective of him- and while they were excited and happy when he got his Hogwarts letter, they were hesitant to let him go, still, they decided to send him in the end- now, here at Hogwarts, he struggles to talk to people and make friends, and is slowly trying to figure things out for himself, especially now that he's in Gryffindor and with so much noise inside the boys dormitory- still, he's trying his best and is thinking of sending his parents an owl to reassure them that he's alright, as they must be anxious as to how he's doing and settling in- he hasn't gotten the hang of things just yet, so he has to rush everywhere and pay even more close attention than he usually would, it's only been a few days since he arrived at Hogwarts, so luckily for him there's still a lot of time to learn, settle in properly and start making his first friends.

First instance of wandless magic: Azrael had been walking home with his parents through a muggle town, when a very aggressive dog (snarling, clearly about to attack) came charging towards them, Azrael became immediately agitated as he realized the dog was coming for his mother- but when it got to her, the dog immediately stopped, looking around as if incredibly disoriented and then quickly ran away- Azrael thought he had somehow scared it off, but his parents knew better- Azrael had been homeschooled his entire life, as he HATED Going out for school with other kids, so using magic was a first for him and obviously very strange- he didn't even think it was magic at first, just a "weird coincidence".

Likes: Azrael enjoys caring for magical creatures, being indoors, going out at night, the dark, the cold.

dislikes: Azrael strongly dislikes sunlight (but will go out when necessary without complaining), sports, being outside for too long.

Fun facts!: While Azrael can be considered overly calm, he has a habit of going along with things his friends do- for example, if his friends want to play a prank on someone, there's a 99% chance he'll go along with it and help (the remaining 1% would be him declining because he's busy with something else, which is pretty rare.)- he often carries around his umbrella, even indoors, as it's enchanted to help him stay cold- so he uses it indoors whenever it's too hot or he thinks he'll pass by any windows that may disrupt his peace by allowing sunlight to blast his face- because of the fact that he doesn't go out much and hates the sun, his skin is pretty sensitive to the heat and sunlight, it irritates his skin and causes It to redden because of the UV rays hitting him after so long, which is also part of the reason why he carries his umbrella around- same thing happens to his parents, they weren't born like this- it's just something that happens after you spend a long time without sunlight and suddenly decide to head back into it.

Family history: the Holloway family is a wealthy pureblood family that keeps to themselves, they live in solitude and they sometimes help out other pureblood families from time to time.
