Elm Wood:
Elm wands prefer owners who have a presence to them, magical dexterity and a certain native dignity. Wands made from Elm wood from the experience of wandmakers are the least likely to cause accidents or foolish errors and produce elegant charms and spellwork. They are sophisticated wands that are capable of casting highly advanced magic in the right hands, which brings them in high demand from witches and wizards who adhere to the pure-blood philosophy.

There is a belief that only pure-bloods can produce magic from elm wands, but it is unfounded and was most likely started by the owner of an Elm wand who wanted to prove heir own blood credentials. These wands can and do find perfect matches with those who are Muggle-borns.

Wand Choice: Prefers dignified owners and is known for producing refined charms and spells with few accidents or errors.

Flavor: The preference for purebloods is merely a lie but a commonly believed one. Non-purebloods relish this.

Unicorn Hair:
Unicorn Tail Hair is renown as a wand core that produces the most consistent magic and is the least subject to fluctuations and blockages when casting spells. Considered to be extremely loyal and moralistic. Wands from Unicorn Hair are the most faithful of wands and renown for being the most difficult to be turned to the Dark Arts.

As a core Unicorn Hair, while it makes for steady, reliable wands, does not produce the most powerful magic unless the wood compensates for this weak point. They are prone to being melancholic if mishandled and wands produced from Unicorn Hair can even go so far as to stop working entirely if their owner dies, provided they have been paired with a wand wood of that inclination.

It's one of the most common wand cores and used by Wandmaker Garrick Ollivander.

First Instance of Magic:
Yuliana's never felt lonely, her house always full of chatter and laughter, that day, it wasn't, everyone was wearing black clothes, even Yulianna and her siblings, even though they didn't understand what was happening. People were crying, her grandmother's body in a coffin, she didn't understand, 'Isn't she sleeping?' she wondered. Mrs. Clawthorne had been full of life until that day, and Yuliana didn't understand why her granny wasn't waking up and telling everyone to stop crying.

All the lights started to go on and off, Yuliana was stressed, and she didn't know why her grandmother wasn't waking up and walking towards her, trying to soothe her. During the funeral, only the Clawthorne kids were laughing, not understanding the severity of the situation, just as the lights continued to go on and off. Her breathing quickened, just as the time for the lights to be on and off did lessen.

History/Backstory:
Yuliana was born to the Clawthorne family the fourth October 2013, she was the first daughter of the marriage between Emily and Alexander Clawthorne. Her name means youthful, or descended from Jupiter. During her life, she never knew about the magic world her parents came from, Emily was a pureblood, while Alex a half-blood, as a kid, Yuliana never had filter, and she couldn't just walk into her paternal grandfather and tell him 'Did you know we can do magic?'. She studied on a muggle primary school, where she used to play for the volleyball team. As the eldest, she wasn't likely to get in trouble, in fact, back at her muggle school, she was more likely to take responsibility for her sibling's actions than let the school master call her parents.

Physical Description:
Yuliana is a redhead, just like her mother, she stands at 4 feet 5, making her quite short for her age. Her hair is wavy, medium-length, she usually styles it to have volume, unless she has to play volleyball, which in that case is a ponytail.
