Eurydice Cecily Devereaux and Alistair Montelise Byrne were a match seemingly made in heaven. They met on the Continent when Alistair was on his progress and Eurydice was summering in the small Mediterranean seaside town he had stopped in. They both hailed from prestigious pureblood families — the French Devereaux, who could trace their magical lineage back forty generations, and the Irish Montelise Byrnes, who were old, old magic — and had clear visions of what they wanted out of life: to continue the legacy that had been placed onto their shoulders.

While they would never call it love at first sight or have a great, passionate love, they fit together in a quiet, comfortable companionship that was perfectly acceptable to both parties.

Eurydice and Alistair were married on a windy November day at the Montelise Byrne estate less than a year after they first met, and Eurydice was pregnant with their first (and what would become their only) child within the month.

Cassian led a mostly charmed childhood. His father was always busy and spent most of his time away from his family, and so the rearing of the rambunctious boy fell to his mother and a few select governesses. Eurydice took to motherhood well — a little too well, in fact. Cassian was perfect in her eyes and could do no wrong. As such, he grew up running roughshod over the entire estate, doing whatever he pleased whenever he pleased. However, whenever Alistair returned, the pressure came crashing down on his son's shoulders. Cassian struggled to reconcile his father's overwhelming expectations with his mother's smothering affection, as well as his pre-existing status of the scion of their family.

Cassian was skating on the local pond one wintry day when his fun was interrupted by a group of older boys. They poked fun at him and teased him, trying to get the pond to themselves, until Cassian lost his temper and accidentally summoned a gust of wind that blew all of them off their feet and onto their behinds.

Cassian looked forward to his Hogwarts letter with zeal, just like every other school-aged young witch or wizard in the United Kingdom. Even if he was a little nervous to be leaving his home behind, he couldn't wait to be in the hallowed halls of the castle that his father had graduated from. When the letter finally arrived, he let out a sigh of relief that he hadn't known he had been holding. Finally — his future was guaranteed.

She met Alistair Montelise Byrne in the summer of 2011 and married him that very November, moving to the United Kingdom. She is currently a devoted mother and mistress of the Montelise Byrne manor, although she can often be found making society visits to London and Paris.	Alistair Montelise Byrne father 1983- Reducio Born Alistair Finnegan Cormac Montelise Byrne at St. Mungo's, Alistair attended Hogwarts as a Ravenclaw from 1994 to 2001. He met Eurydice Cecily Devereaux while on his progress through Europe and married her a mere four months after their first meeting. He has one child, Cassian, and spends most of his time away from his family for business.	Sylvie Montelise Byrne aunt 1985- Reducio Born Sylvie Clarissa Montgomery in Chicago, Illinois, Sylvie attended Ilvermorny as a Horned Serpent from 1996 to 2003. She married Benedict Montelise Byrne in 2005. They have one daughter, Sofia Amelie.
