My time before Hogwarts:
It was a beautiful day when I was born in a remote village in north London, England. I was homeschooled until I was 11 and valued the time I spent at home. The first magical incident, as I recall, occurred two days before my 11th birthday. I was playing in the garden when I unexpectedly set fire to our hedge. Shocked, my parents asked about the incident and I told them about the burning corner in the garden. They put out the fire and explained to me that I had magical abilities. My parents, both wizards from our pureblood family, assured me that it was normal for magical abilities to manifest and that it might be common.
On my 11th birthday I finally received the long-awaited Hogwarts letter. I was excited about Hogwarts because my parents had told many stories about it and I already had a favorite house in mind. I knew about the various topics such as potions, defense against the dark arts and flying on broomsticks. My parents even took me on a broom ride through the garden, but in circles. I have to say that I always enjoyed flying on a broomstick.
Plus, at home I always watched as my parents used magic to do everything around the house. They also told me that they were proud that I was accepted into Hogwarts. I also watched them make potions. They also told me many stories about Hogwarts. But I've mentioned this before, I think my parents always tell me to be confident and always be myself and whatever house I'm sorted into, I should be pretty sure about that too. My parents explained everything to me, of course my parents also explained it to me and told me everything about the stories of the house grounds
My time at Hogwarts
It all started with my journey when I arrived at Hogwarts on the Hogwarts Express. I was very impressed by Hogwarts Castle. We were taken to the castle by boat. The black lake shimmered clearly in the starlight because we were traveling at night when we arrived at Hogwarts. We were the first. I was divided into houses. Luckily I was assigned to the Slytherin house, which was also my favorite house. After the ceremony, I went to the silver table and chatted with the others. My first year at Hogwarts could begin. I hadn't made any friends yet, but I hope so, I was looking forward to potions and magic because those were the topics that interested me the most. I also often walk by the Black Lake and go to the library to read books about potions and magic.
I'm excited to see what the Potions and Charms classes will bring, so I'm excited to see what the first year will bring.
